《Join The Crew [ One Piece Various x JJK Reader]》Chapter 15

A/N: MANGA SPOILERS! FOR JJK! BE WARNED!
(Y/n) sat alone, sitting on top of the goat's head, which sat at the front of the boat. The other crewmembers stayed away from her, sometimes glancing at her from the deck. Even Luffy, despite his small brain size, knew to leave her alone. Totally not because Nami prevented him from going over to her, yes... Totally.
"(Y/n), you've been acting strange ever since we left that island, are you alright?" Nami asked worriedly. Keep in mind, that she kept a good 10 feet away from (Y/n), so as not to invade her privacy. From her spot, she can spot a weird box in (Y/n)'s hand, clutched in a way one would clutch something precious to them.
"I'm fine Nami, please don't worry about me" (Y/n) said in a dull tone, much different from her happy one. It threw Nami off completely, something was definitely wrong with her. But, being a kind person, she minded her own business and left (Y/n) to her own thoughts.
"Anything?" Zoro asked Nami, having waited for her on the deck with Luffy and Usopp. Nami shook her head dejectedly, earning frowns all around. "Well, I trust she'll tell us when she feels comfortable!" Luffy said, trying to keep up the positivity. Though, it did not help much, as the group is way worried about her to feel any positivity.
Unknown to them, (Y/n) was listening to their conversation, slightly frowning in guilt. It's not that she doesn't want to tell them, they just cannot help her. Taking a glance back down at the item that traps her brother, she grimaces at the thought of another day without him.
The box in her hands had bright blue eyes peering up at her, almost like her brother is watching her from within the box. Those very same eyes that looked at her right before he was trapped by his very own best friend. She still remembers the horror of that specific day.
Fire lit up the city, bodies littered the ground, no longer distinguishable, one would think they weren't human. Many Jujutsu students, who are too young to experience these horrors, fought against the chaos. Many were severely injured in the fights, while others seemed unharmed, just out of energy.

She and Satoru were supposed to deal with the problem before it even started, mostly Satoru. She wasn't known for using her curse energy often, she was more into hand-to-hand combat. Of course, only her brother supported her goal to use no curse energy. Unlike the elders, who wanted her to be another product of destruction, only for them to try disposing of her later.
She watched from the second floor, how her brother tried his best to save the innocents. Ripping off heads mercilessly, of those he could not save. She watched as he fought three cursed spirits, easily avoiding them, and killing one of them with ease. He paid no mind to the blood that covered his hands, as he ripped Hanami's horns out of their head.
She remembers, silently calling out to her brother, warning him of the danger. "SATORU!" She had yelled out, spotting the box that still haunts her dreams. But, he wasn't fast enough, as a very recognizable figure walked out, stopping him in his tracks. In an instant, he was ensnared by the box, preventing him from any escape, and secretly glancing at her.
She knew that look, it was a sign of help, despite the deed having been done already. They had set a plan, if things went bad, she just had to follow it. Just like that, he got sealed away, for her to never see, speak, or touch ever again, not until she finished her end of the plan.
The two knew how the Prison Realm worked, yet the opponent didn't expect his hand to almost be ripped off. He also wasn't expecting her to swoop in, just to easily grab the box out from under him. As she ran, Geto pursued her, sending curse after curse toward her.
She remembered, as she ran, she had made eye contact with Sukuna, who seemed to have too much fun fighting. For a moment, she took notice of the lack of curses following her, right before she vanished. She didn't notice Sukuna blocking Suguru's path, delaying her capture.

How is she supposed to be happy? Being on the run for her life, while protecting a box. Ends up with strangers, who call themselves pirates. Finding out none of them have cursed energy, yet can still see cursed spirits, it would've helped if they can defeat the cursed spirits too.
But, since they're basically useless against cursed spirits, she's tasked to rescue them, and herself from them. This is specifically why she can't tell them her problems. She's the only one who can free her brother from his prison, along with keeping cursed spirits at bay.
Yes, she does have Sukuna to turn to, but she rather dies than ask him for help. Although he's smitten with her, he is still an evil person. He wouldn't lift a finger, even if she asked, to save the very person he has hated since the start of his incarnation. Heck, she bets he sees Satour's imprisonment as a gift from gods, as he was a massive wall to court her.
The mark on her shoulder is there as a curse mark to track her down, but also as a claim. Not as a "mate" or whatever weird Alpha simulation people make up. But as property, that basically tells her she's not a person, but an item that he chose to keep around. Yes... Very romantic indeed.
It also serves as a tattoo, that claims she's a part of his "pirate crew", as this world calls it. Pirates apparently brand their crewmembers, to showcase which crew they're a part of. Something she read in a newspaper, that gave her a rundown about this new world.
On the topic of pirates and discoveries, there's another item in (Y/n)'s hand, that Nami didn't spot. In her hand, she held a wanted poster, of herself. The picture seemed to capture her beauty, despite only being black and white, one couldn't tell that it was a drawing.
Oh, but (Y/n) could tell, she can recognize Sukuna's drawings anywhere. Yes, he draws, surprisingly enough, and yes he despises drawing. Yet, despite his despise, he still expertly drew her, she remembers spotting him drawing her from afar. Poor Yuji was probably forced to allow Sukuna to indulge in his strange stalking activity.
Besides the topic of Sukuna's drawing skills, the more specific thing is the words under the picture. In bold it read "ALIVE, IF DEAD, YOU'RE DEAD!" under it read her name "(Y/N) * GOJO". What really caught her eye was the money amount. "100,000,000,000-" a number with too many zeroes, but very evident that it's a lot of money for one person.
There were more words, but she couldn't really read them, she didn't try to. She is just too focused on the amount of money presented. If her theory is correct, this wanted poster was most likely requested by no other than Sukuna himself. Knowing his ruthlessness, he doesn't have 100 billion to give to some random human for her capture.
Now on top of dealing with curses, she has to deal with anyone wanting the money offered. Something she has to avoid since she doesn't want to be caught by him. Technically, Sukuna's in one of his modes, where he likes to chase her down like prey. Normally, it's all fun and games, until Suguru gets involved, if she's captured she'll lose all progress in rescuing her brother.
Which begs the question... How did Sukuna follow her here? How did he become the most feared pirate here? She hates to imagine the hell people had to go through, just for him to receive a measly title. Speaking of, she hopes the man in the box doesn't run into Sukuna anytime soon.

Discord Community: https://discord.gg/3tHKHAx7Ye The Vitaean Chronicles are a debut LitRPG High Fantasy series written with the intent of filling a niche I've yet to see filled anywhere else. This is my first novel of this kind, so please be patient with me. Throughout this story, I will endeavour to create an evolving and expansive narrative anchored around believable characters, compelling plotlines, and a consistent and sensible magic system. The purpose of this work is to create what I believe to be a relatively unique piece of fiction, drawing inspiration from many great stories that have come before from the likes of Tolkien, Jordan, Hertbert, Goodkind, Pratchett, Martin, and several others. My goal is not to create a masterpiece, but simply to create a story that someone can read and re-read with the same joy, same frustration, and same investment each time. This story will contain violence, politics, Shakespearian drama, tongue-in-cheek references, adult content, and well-crafted relationships of both platonic and romantic natures. I will not promise you will like every choice I make. I can only guarantee that I will do my best to create a story I, and you, can be proud of. As I progress, I will have room to incorporate fan-made characters for those interested in making their mark within the tapestry of this tale (with the customary disclaimer that they do so while waiving any rights to future profit, lol). Thank you to Royal Road for giving me the platform to do that, and thank you dear readers past, present, and future for choosing to come on this journey with me. Finally, just to cover myself: This work is Copyrighted to the Author herein known as 'Hannibal Forge', and recreation, distribution, or re-release of any material herein in a commercial or public capacity absent permission from the Author can and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the Law.

The Errant Otherworlder Watanabe
“In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death, taxes and trucks whom transport men to other worlds.” Meet our titular protagonist Haruto Watanabe, a man who has all the markings of a good protagonist for a generic portal fantasy story. As an overworked office worker, to escape from the grips of crippling capitalist alienation, he had taken up to reading many stories where young men like him were transported to other worlds and enjoyed their lives at a most leisurely pace. Armed with genre-awareness and (what he believes to be) a marketable personality which would make him an easy audience self-insert, he longed for the day the isekai express would take him to his long-awaited adventure to another world. When the fateful day came, where the fair yet harsh mistress that is the fabled truck took Watanabe on one last date to the other side, he was most ready to escape his previous life, ready to embark on an errant so great he’d be most overpowered, his heroics so exceptional and his harem so vast that they would barely fit ten or twenty volumes of an overly long novel made by a desperate author looking for quick cash. Lo and behold however, Watanabe instead found himself in a low fantasy world which lacked severely in the department of any game-like systems, cheat skills or easily charmed damsels in distress. In a setting so antithetical to his established genre savviness or any attempts at power fantasy, how will a man like Watanabe, lacking in strength, wits and courage, manage to survive in a land most foreign to him? This is my first time trying to share to the wider world what I’ve written, and I hope you’ll enjoy reading the errantry of Watanabe as much as I enjoy writing about them. I'll be posting one chapter per week on Sundays, along with extra chapters whenever I get the chance to write more than usual.

Conquest Of Mortem
*NOTE* This novel is a war of attrition. To say anything less is a disservice to its demand. While comparable to other such works as Ulysses or Moby Dick, each sentence in Conquest is an enemy to be tackled. Not in the ways of difficulty but in absurd density that wishes nothing more than to destroy what patience you may have. Do not tackle chapters as you would ordinary chapters in an ordinary book. Tackle each chapter as a book unto itself. A foe to be vanquished, a period of life to leave behind. Seek to be master of this work. Seek to overcome. For in its design is the willpower, and the perseverance, and the strength of someone who sought meaning in struggle. As I discovered these in times of ultimate desperation, so I hope for you to discover these things. This novel is a love letter to your trials. May you overcome them. May you master them. May you become conquerer.- SeedSagaA literary epic for logophiles, philosophers, and poets alike. A journey into zeitgeist, the impact of media on culture, and the endurance of morality against an onslaught of hatred. These vague descriptions do little to compact Conquest's density into a bite-size summary. They do however relate the basest themes found within. A plot, if such can be surmised, is strung thinly across multiple perspectives, weaving together these concepts into a seemingly distorted tapestry of indecipherable events. Inspired by early 20th century modernism, Conquest will challenge the reader, and provide critique on the medium upon which all great stories are derived. Further interpretation is up to you now; an explorer among a sea of words. Venture on and discover what lies ahead, in...CONQUEST OF MORTEM
