When I was little I never smiled a true smile,

The ones where a persons teeth look really bright,

Only because Momma said it made me look bad.

I never went out for a friend's birthday,

Cause momma said it was only a distraction,

Maybe that's why my only friends were my cousins.

Things changed,

When I met you in 3rd grade,

We connected instantly over a Milka pouch.

I felt like I met an angel,

Who made me laugh so much,

that I'd forget about my ugly smile.

You some how completed me.

I was hurt when you lied to me,

for the friends you never really liked.

You tried making up for it by inviting me over to your house,

For your 10th birthday party,

But You warned me to stay out of 'their' sight.

I couldn't come cause momma wouldn't allow me.

We drifted apart for a while till we met again in 6th grade

We would talk about one direction all the time,

To a point where I couldn't take it anymore,

That's when the word 'P.I.T.A.' came to life.

When you asked me what it meant,

I said "Precious, Incredibly Talented and Amazing"

I knew you didn't believe it even for a second,

But I didn't want to tell you what it really meant.

Time passed, we lost contact,

But sometimes some things are meant to be,

We were meant to be.

And that's why fate brought us together in 8 grade.

This time it wasn't just us two,

It was 'The Infinities' and Bobby,

And our cringe ass dance moves.

I still remember how you laughed on stage,

Before we sang 'blank space'

It was officially the worst best day of my life.

A lot of things happened over the last four years,

But you stuck by my side,

Even when I was at fault.

You were the shoulder I could cry on,

While I opened out my heart.
