We used to be friends,

But not anymore.

You shut that door.

We used to be close,

Besties, to be exact.

Now, that is just an old fact.

We used to hang out,

And always talk on the phone.

But then you left me, alone.

We used to tell each other everything,

Not leaving out a single detail.

That was before you decided to bail.

We used laugh with each other,

At our own inside joke.

Before our friendship went up in smoke.

We used to always say,

That we were best friends forever.

Not anymore, since we're no longer together.

You used to tell me,

That you would never leave.

But guess what, I was deceived.
