Lizzie, Zoe and Phil quickly made their way to the garden. Wasting no time, they started looking for a green flower.
"There are loads of green flowers!" Zoe exclaimed.
"How do we know which one we need?" Phil asked.
"There must be some way of telling which one we need," Lizzie said. The group frantically looked around the huge garden for the flower.
We are looking for one green flower in a massive garden full of green flowers. If there were more of us and we had a decent description of the flower this might be easier.
"She couldn't have been more vague, just a green flower," Zoe moaned, "there are so many. Should we just take them all and hope for the best?"
"It's not a terrible plan," Lizzie said.
"There must be something about this flower that we'll recognise as soon as we see it," Phil said, "I'm just worried about Thomas."
"I know, I really hope he's okay," Lizzie said.
———
Thomas was trapped in the cell, and he could feel the potion slowly taking effect. His arm felt unusual, almost numb. He was forced to watch helplessly as Athena and her slave plotted the death of one of his friends.
I feel so useless trapped in here, I can't help my friends, and if they don't find these flowers, I'm going to end up like Athena's slave, and that sounds like a fate worse than death. I just have to hope that they can find them in time.
"Oh, I almost forgot to tell you, dear boy, they don't have an hour to find the flowers," Athena walked towards Thomas, "they have an hour to find the flowers, vote and complete my challenge, which will be creating the antidote to save you. So I wouldn't hold out too much hope for your rescue."

She laughed and walked back to one of her many desks to plot out the challenge, as Thomas was left helpless and losing faith in his friends.
———
Willow, Dan and Joel ran out to the moat and started looking along the banks for a green flower.
"Are there actually any flowers here?" Willow asked, "I can't see anything."
"There must be something, unless she's lying to us," Dan said, "and she'd have a lot to gain."
"Surely she has to play fair. All the other lieutenants have. Or if she doesn't know where the flowers actually are," Joel said.
I'm really worried about this. We cannot see any flowers on the banks and we only have an hour to save Thomas.
"This had to happen when there are only three of us left. If there were a big group of us, this would be so much easier," Willow moaned.
"That's probably why it's happening now, so it's more difficult," Dan said.
"Fair enough," Willow said as she kept desperately looking for the flower.
———
Zoe kept looking for the flower, getting more and more desperate, when she suddenly felt something come over her. Joey was trying to help her. She shut her eyes and let the possession wash over her. She saw the image of a small gap in a large hedge, and the flower was inside. Without saying anything, she ran towards the hedge and crawled through the gap she saw. As Phil and Lizzie walked over to her, she re-emerged from the hedge with the flower. It was glowing slightly, and it looked like nothing they had ever seen before.
"How did you find that?" Phil asked.
"Joey showed me where it was," Zoe explained, "and we need to get this back to Athena."

The group bolted towards the castle with the flower, hoping that the other group had found their flower.
———
This seems utterly pointless, we cannot find this flower, then I get this weird feeling, and I know Joey's trying to help me, so I just let him.
Dan let Joey put images in his mind. He saw his group at the drawbridge, and he saw a corner of the castle walls and the moat, and he saw the flower there. Wordlessly, he started running to the place Joey showed him, ignoring Willow and Joel's questions. He could hear them running behind him as he approached the location he saw.
"Where are you going?" Willow shouted after him. Dan stopped and looked down.
"I got the flower," he shouted back. It also glowed, and was unlike any flower any of them knew. Dan picked it as Willow and Joel caught up with him.
"We need to get this back," Joel said. Willow groaned as Dan and Joel raced towards the house.
"Why is there so much running involved in this?" Willow asked loudly.
"Why are you complaining?" Dan asked.
"I'm wearing a full length dress!"
"Fair point."
———
The guests reunited on the staircase as Dan and Zoe lead the charge upstairs. They threw the door open, startling Athena.
"We have your flowers, in record time too, I might add," Dan said as he looked at the clock.
"Thank you, I'll let Thomas go then, shall I?" Athena said. She walked towards the cell.
"Doesn't he need the antidote first?" Zoe asked, "every poison has an antidote."
"You need to vote and complete the challenge in an hour. The challenge is making the antidote!" Thomas quickly shouted.
"You idiot!" Athena screeched. Thomas dodged a punch from her.
"My game is up, go and vote and send two people up here to make the antidote. Go!"
The guests ran out of the room and down the stairs to vote.
