Previously on Escape The Night, a knight attacked the guests, kidnapping Rosanna, Thomas and Joey. The guests saved Thomas. Rosanna and Joey competed in the challenge. Joey broke the rules and was killed, confusing the guests, and proving that no one is safe.

"Who's the next lieutenant?" Dan asked.

"A man went insane one day and murdered his family, and many more. When the spirit approached him, he took all the power the spirit gave him, and killed the family who once resided in this castle. The other lieutenants locked him in the dungeon to contain him. If you want to unlock him, you will find him there," Lizzie read.

"Why'd the other lieutenants lock him up?" Sasha asked.

"I don't know. I guess he was dangerous or something," Lizzie said.

"Anyway, we should probably head to the dungeon and see if this guy is even there," Rosanna said. The guests agreed with that.

"Where are the dungeons?" Lauren asked.

"We'll show you," Alex said. The guests followed Alex and Lauren down a small, crumbling staircase and they came to an old wooden door. Lauren held the door open as Alex lead the guests inside. She closed the door quietly behind them.

There were a dozen cells down in the dungeon, most of them filled with dust, spiders and skeletons. The guests walked cautiously down the corridor until they saw a live figure. He was sitting in a small cell at the end of the corridor, humming to himself and playing with a knife. He looked up with insane eyes and saw the guests as they approached. He ran forward and the guests scrambled back.

"You all fear me. You should. I've killed so many people, including the original owners of this castle. The dark spirit, he wanted me to kill them so he could have the castle for his games, then, he locked me in here. And my only way out is to kill one more person. It will also free another guest's spirit and you can leave here," he said, laughing the whole time. The guests left and returned to the lounge, and were greeted by a strange, and terrifying sight.
