The entire group is currently squished under Azul's desk as said octo merman stood right before them,"Now, let's see..." Azul hums as he unlocks his safe and takes out a stack of golden contracts,"That's... the contract we signed!" Deuce whispers with wide eyes.

"So he did lock them in the vault." Ace whispers with narrowed eyes,"One, two, three... Fufufu..." Azul chuckles as he counts through them,"That jerk is counting the contracts like money with a big grin on his face." Grim grits his teeth with anger,"That's a pretty nasty hobby..." Jack comments with a frown as he held y/n tighter.

"... Hmm. I should probably get back." Azul utters to himself before he puts the contracts away, locks up the vault and then leaves. Everyone sighs with relief,"That was too close for comfort." y/n says as they all spill out from under the desk,"We were almost spotted." Grim adds on as Jack spots a single contract left on the table.

"... Wait! Look, he left one contract on top of the table." he tells the others,"Seriously? Lucky. Let's get it out of here and see if we can destroy it." Ace exclaims with a grin,"Azul is clumsier that I thought he'd be. Whose is it?" Grim asks as y/n thinks about the whole thing.

"Wait! This is way too-" before she could finishes her sentence, Ace had already reached out for the contract and just as his finger grazes the page, a strong current of electricity strikes them all.

"Ababababababa!!!" they scream before falling to the ground, smoke emitting from their bodies,"Byaaahhhh! My body is all tingly." Grim whines,"Weeee, this world is spinning~!" y/n says with swirly eyes and a dumb smile, her body twitching now and again.

"Ahahahaha!" the familiar laugh of Floyd is heard,"My, my. You're all shaking like you got attacked by an electric catfish..." Jade comments with an amused smile as everyone gathered their bearings and shakingly got back up, immediately spotting the Octavinelle Trio blocking the doorway.

"That's quite unsightly, everyone." Azul smirks mockingly,"You bastards, you noticed us!" Jack glares at them,"But of course. Your fuzzy tail was in full view from under the desk." Azul points to Jack's tail, who looks at it as well with grimace.

"It appears that you all were trying to steal a contract, but..." Azul's glasses reflect the light in the room, causing him to look intimidating,"There is a spell on it that will electrocute any besides me who touch it. Too bad for you." he says mockingly.

"Y-You go that far!?" Ace exclaims with disbelief,"We just got electrocuted and you're asking him that!? Of course he would! We're evidence of that!" y/n glares at him,"Didn't I tell you? My contracts cannot possibly be destroyed." Azul reminds them again.

"Ahaha! These guys are total idiots!!" Floyd cackles loudly,"Why do you keep coming back even though you know how it's gonna turn out?" he questions with slightly narrowed eyes as he shoves his hands into his pockets,"Heh. Floyd. I feel bad for them if you laugh too much. They're doing their best with their limited knowledge. Fufufu." Jade outwardly insults the entire group, his grin just as wide to show off his razor sharp teeth.

"Bad kids who try to steal something important are in need of a good chastising." Azul states as he pulls out his magical pen,"We have to teach them proper manners so they never so much as think about doing this again." Jade says in agreement as he also pulls his magical pen out along with Floyd,"I'll give you each a turn to be squeezed." he says with glee.

Jack was quick to pull y/n behind the group as he and the others pull their own magical pens out,"Ggh... Here they come, you guys!" he warns his friends and y/n could only watch helplessly as the battle turns to a one-sided one. It's obvious the Octavinelle Trio had the upper hand over them.

Jack pants when he saw this battle was going nowhere for them,"Shit, the Dorm Head class is this strong?" he pants as he wipes some sweat off his chin,"If you can't handle this then stealing a contract is out of the question." Azul bluntly tells them.

"Wouldn't going to the Atlantica Memorial Museum be faster?" Floyd tells them as he rubs the base of his neck,"Your time limit is until tomorrow at sunset. You really don't have time." Jade says gently, as if he's talking to a group of children. But his smile says otherwise.

"They're also going to sleep in the infirmary after this little fight, but then it's time up!" Floyd teases them in a carefree manner,"We'll be back!" Deuce declares with fiery eyes,"Shit, I'm no good at summoning magic, but... Come forth, cauldron!" Ace fires a cauldron at the Octavinelle Trio.

"Why you, don't copy me!" Deuce scowls at him,"I told you yesterday. That won't hit! Bind the Heart!" Floyd shouts as he deflects the cauldron back at them. It didn't hit anyone luckily, but y/n let out a scream when it grazed her cheek just the slight before hitting the vault behind her. She could feel a second later a thin trail of blood roll down her cheek,"Y/n!" Ace yelps when the girl nearly got hit and was quick to pull her towards himself so he could check her for anymore injuries.

"Floyd! Where are you aiming your spell? Who hits away towards the vault?" Azul panics greatly as he ran towards his vault,"Ah, sorry." Floyd simply smiles, not at all sorry for his action as Azul checks the vault over.

"Aah, there's a scratch on the door!! Do the dials and hinges still work?" Azul was quick to test them out and to his luck, they still work,"... Oh good." he sighs with great relief before glaring at Floyd,"I'm always telling you to stop throwing around your Unique Magic without thinking! How many times do I have to!?" he scolds the taller male.

"I said sorry. You don't have to get angry over a tiny scratch like that." Floyd immediately frowns with displeasure at being yelled at,"It's too late if it breaks!!" Azul shouts at him and Jade was quick to get in between them,"Both of you, calm down. Otherwise..." he points to the back of the room,"They'll get away." he says.

"Eh?" Azul and Floyd immediately turn to see the first year group is gone and whip their head towards the entrance of the room,"Now's our chance! Farewell, y'know!!" Grim shouts as they flee out the door,"S-Stop right there! Jade, Floyd, after them!" Azul quickly orders.

"You got mad at me and now I'm in a bad mood." Floyd frowns heavily,"Is now the time for that?! Why are you so moody?" Azul pinches the bridge of his nose in frustration,"Azul, why are you so prickly? It's fine if the vault breaks. Aren't your contracts invincible?" Floyd asks with furrowed brows.

"Are you telling me to carry the contracts with me wherever I go?!" Azul shouts before huffing out a breath to calm himself down,"Aahh, this won't do at all. I got caught up in the moment with Floyd again. My goodness..." he shakes his head at himself,"Jade, continue to keep an eye on them and... Don't neglect Floyd's protection." he orders as he grabs the lone contract on his desk.

"As you wish." Jade bows slightly,"Aah, I'm bored. I'm gonna skip afternoon classes and take a nap somewhere." Floyd announces before leaving, making his twin sigh at his antic,"My, my..." he says with furrowed brows.

Back with y/n and the gang. They currently find themselves in the Hall of Mirrors, exhausted,"That was a fright." Deuce sighs with relief,"Yeah, 'cause Jack is a giant." Ace teases,"Ugh... It's just that I'm bulkier than you guys! That and wolves tend to be taller." Jack defends himself as y/n wipes the blood off her cheek, but only successfully smearing it more.

"Those contracts, we can't even touch them, let alone destroy them..." Deuce clemchea his fists at the thought,"I guess this is all we can do today." Jack rubs the back of his head,"We completely wasted a whole day." Grim says with a defeated look,"Is there really a way to destroy them?" Ace questions with doubt.

"There has got to be. Leona said so himself." y/n says, but she can't help but acknowledge the uneasy feeling twisting in her stomach.

She was about to say something else, but her vision suddenly goes dark while her chest blows up with burning pain,"Ahhhhhhhh!" she screams as her vision shows the Ink Room again. Three more droplets echoes in her ears as they gather in the ever growing pool of ink.

By the time y/n regains her vision, she found herself staring up at the worried faces of her friends as Jack supports her being,[Did... Did I fall?] she wonders before inhaling sharply when her chest gave one more final, painful, squeeze before finally settling down.

"Y/n, are you okay!?" Jack asks with worry,"Yeah, you suddenly screamed before falling over! Did one of those Octavinelle guys hit you with a spell or something?" Deuce frets,"Did I accidentally hit you!?" Ace panics and y/n couldn't help but smile softly at them,"It's... It's fine guys. I'm okay. I just had a sudden burst of headaches and a dizzy spell." she reassures him and tries to get up, but her body suddenly felt weak and drained of energy.

"Hold on. I'll take you back to the dorm." Jack tells her and he effortlessly picks her up bridal style. Without another word, they parted ways to their respective dorms.

"Hm? Finally back?" Ruggie greets them before noticing the state y/n is in,"Crap! What happened!?" he panics as he checks on the girl in his first year's arms, immediately spotting the smeared blood on her cheek and the cut,"I'm fine Ruggie. I'm just really tired." y/n reassures him with an exhausted tone.

"You definitely don't look fine to me! Give her to me Jack." Ruggie immediately takes y/n into his own arms before running upstairs to Leona's room, where said lion was sleeping on his bed,"Stay here, I'll go get the first aid kit." Ruggie gently sets her down in her own bed before running off.

Y/n sighs as she rubs her chest, before jumping slightly when Leona spoke up,"I smell blood." he says as he turns to face the girl with narrowed eyes,"What happened?" he asks and y/n waves him off as she avoids eye contact,"It was an accident. I just didn't react fast enough to avoid it." she tells him, but Leona wasn't having it as he got out of bed before squatting in front of the girl.

He immediately grips her chin and turns her face to his. He studies the smeared blood and cut on her cheek,"Who did it?" he asks lowly,"Leona, please. It really was an accident." y/n says as she holds his wrist,"I didn't ask if it was an accident, I asked who did it." Leona growls and y/n slaps his hand away before giving him a stern look.

"And I'm telling you that it was all an accident! Use your ears you stubborn cat, or are they just for show?" she says before huffing a breath as she calms herself down,"Fine, whatever." Leona clicks his tongue before leaning in close to her,"Uh, what're you doing?" y/n squeaks as her cheeks turn pink.

She squeals when Leona suddenly starts to lick over her cut and around it,"Hey! Stop that! That's gross!" y/n tries to shove Leona away, but the male immediately snatches both of her wrists. He continues to lick her wound before deeming it clean enough,"There." was all he said before going back to bed, leaving a very flustered y/n behind.

[What the shiitake mushroom just happened!?] she thought with a bright red face just as Ruggie came back,"Here we go. Let's get that cut cleaned up..." he says, but stops short when he saw the girl's wound void of any blood. He then turns his head to Leona and then back to y/n, immediately piecing the puzzle together and his eyes held a little hint of jealousy.

"Nope, nah-huh. That's disgusting and it's gonna get infected." he immediately gets to work with properly cleaning the girl's wound and putting a bandaid over it,"Get some rest y/n. I can tell you had a rough day." he says with a soft smile as he smooths down y/n's hair before leaving with the first aid.

Hours later, when night time rolled in, y/n was having trouble falling asleep with what is happening around her and the whole 'she's got one day left to complete the contract' thing,"I need some fresh air." she whispers to herself before quietly getting out of bed and leaving the dorm entirely.

Her feet unconsciously carried her back to the Ramshackle Dorm where the lights were on, indicating someone was currently in there. Most likely the twins.

"Oh... I'm back at Ramshackle Dorm." she utters with a longing look,"I have one more day left before my only home is taken away..." she whispers sadly as she observes the silhouettes moving from window to window.

She hums when green little lights suddenly appears around her,"Huh? Green lights?" she looks up and her eyes glimmer with awe at the beauty around her,"They're beautiful..." she smiles softly. A soft thud catches her attention and she whips around to see the mysterious horned boy again.

"Hm? Aren't you...?" he spoke as he looks at y/n,"Oh, hey again Tsunotaro!" y/n greets him with a cheerful smile, but the boy, dubbed Tsunotaro, looks at her with surprise,"Tsunotaro? By Tsunotaro... Do you mean me?" he asks softly.

"Well yeah, you did say I could call you whatever I like last time. Grim helped me come up with the nickname though." y/n smiles up at him and Tsunotaro starts laughing,"Pfft... Hahaha! I can't believe I'm Tsunotaro! You really seem to show no fear." he says loudly with amusement and a little bit of joy.

"Fear? Why should I fear you?" y/n quirks an amused brow and then pouts in false sadness,"Aw, don't you like my nickname for you?" she gives a fake whimper and Tsunotaro waves her off with a smile.

"It's fine. I am the one who told you to call me what you'd like." he reassures her,"I'll allow you to call me by that odd nickname." he says and y/n smiles again,"Well I'm happy to hear that, cause I'm gonna keep calling you that whether you liked it or not." she says wholeheartedly and Tsunotaro smiles at this.

He then grew curious,"... By the way, this dorm has been quite lively for the past couple of days. Are there more residents other than you?" he asks and y/n sighs as she rubs the base of her neck,"No, it's just... Some things happened and I made a deal with Azul and the dorm is put up as collateral. I have three days, but tomorrow is my last day and I have to get a photo before the sun sets tomorrow otherwise I lose my only home!" she explains to him, ranting just the slightest.

"What? A deal with Ashengrotto? I see... Is that so?" Tsunotaro hums with a knuckle tapping against his chin,"Then tomorrow after the sunset this place will become his and become a lively meeting place for other students." he frowns at the thought before looking at y/n's upset face and huffs a friendly smile.

"... Hmph, your face says you object to that." y/n nods to that with puffed up cheeks,"Do you not enjoy talking like you've already lost?" y/n looks down at that and Tsunotaro hums at this before looking up at the dorm.

"Did you know, the walls of this dorm have some wonderful gargoyle carvings on them?" he says and y/n looks up at him briefly before turning her gaze towards her dorm,"By gargoyles, do you mean the monster statues carved at the top?" she asks and Tsunotaro nods.

"Gargoyles may appear like a monster carving with a sinister appearance at first glance, but... They are actually a type of gutter made so that rain water doesn't damage the walls." he tells her and y/n tilts her head this slightly,[Huh, I didn't know that. I always thought they were decorations.] she thought with interest.

"They may look terrifying, but... they are something that dearly cares for the home." Tsunotaro finishes with a smile,"So what you're saying is that there's a gap between their looks and role and that they're actually a good thing?" y/n summarizes and Tsunotaro looks down at her.

"There are times when what you see is the exact opposite of reality." he tells her before looking downcasted,"... I would also like this place to not be noisy every night." he admits and y/n nods in understanding.

Tsunotaro then puts a hand on her head and offers her an encouraging smile,"Struggle with all your might and prove you can protect your dorm." he tells her before disappearing in a flash of white little lights,"Expectation and reality are opposites, huh?" y/n hums in thought. She gives her dorm one last longing look before turning back around to return to Savanaclaw.
