After returning to Savanaclaw, Ruggie and Leona were shocked to see their first years soaked to the bone, but even more so when they explained what happened to them.

"Eh? You guys seriously went to the Coral Sea?" Ruggie frowns with crossed arms,"You're too dumb." Leona sighs with a shake of his head,"Shut up." y/n mutters with an angry pout,"Ffgna!? You're the one who told us to hurry up and do something!" Grim shouts at the lion as he points a paw at him.

"Hmph. Nobody said anything about jumping into the ocean like an idiot." Leona huffs as he crosses his arms,"Your time is limited. I meant, use your head to come up with a worthwhile course of action." he pokes y/n's forehead, who in returns whines at this,"There's no way to beat merfolk head on in the water, no matter how you struggle. It's like you're trying to get eaten." he sighs and y/n glares at him lightly.

"... Umm, Leona, did you by chance know that those twins were merfolk?" Jack asks and Leona shrugs,"Pretty much." he says and y/n feels her eye twitch,"And you didn't think to tell us beforehand!?" she screams with annoyance,"Didn't feel like it." Leona rolls his eyes at her with a teasing smirk,"You asshole." y/n spat out with a glare.

"Last summer I saw Floyd revert to that form during a joint swimming class we had..." Ruggie shivers at the memory as his ears fall flat against his head,"If he. Ame at me like that in the water, I feel like my story would be over." he claims and y/n eases up at that,[Scary...] she thought nervously.

"Then you should tell us something like that in advance!" Jack scolds,"I just said that!" y/n whines as she slaps her forehead,"Weren't you guys the ones that jumped in without gathering information first? If you had asked I would have told you all about it." Leona smirks smugly.

"Yeah, yeah. You've gotta be wary before you act. Shishishi! Those who can't look ahead will starve on the savanna." Ruggie snickers as y/n starts to shiver from the cold,"Mmngmnh... You're as big a bully as ever!" Grim grumbles with displeasure, his tail swishing back and forth to show for it.

"So that means that Azul had every intention of getting in our way from the start?" Jack questions,"Obviously." Leona huffs,"That bastard! I'll make takoyaki outta him! Or maybe calamari." y/n threatens, because one because she's mad, and two because she's hungry.

"With the Leech twins as his underlings, Azul is pretty famous for getting his hands on whatever he was promised from his clients. There's also a rumor that they interfere with people so they can't complete their end of the deal." Ruggie reveals to them, causing y/n to feel a sudden drop of dread.

"Those guys are a bunch of cowards! Uugghh... If y/n loses, am I gonna be worked to the bone forever?" Grim sniffs with teary eyes,"What'll we do if Ramshackle Dorm gets taken away? We won't have anywhere to live anymore." y/n says with worry as she looks downcasted at the thought of being homeless in a foreign world.

Leona studies her expression and feels his heart clench just the slightest,"Leona?" Ruggie calls out when Leona stayed unnaturally quiet for a bit,"Azul's Unique Magic is 'It's a Deal'. He can take one ability if you sign a special contract. Also, if there's anything that breaks contract, the one who signed becomes absolutely obedient to Azul." Leona explains and y/n perks up at this.

"It's magic that's hard to activate, but has a big result if you do... He's vicious." Ruggie adds with a nonchalant expression,"Is there anything else to his Unique Magic?" y/n asks and Leona nods,"The ability he takes is sealed inside the contract and Azul himself can use it whenever he wants." he reveals.

This definitely caught Jack and y/n's attention as they remember how Azul handled all the first years that signed a contract with him,"Then the reason Azul could use a bunch of difficult spells was because..." Jack trails off,"They were most likely collateral he's taken from signees before." Ruggie confirms his suspicion.

"What a guy! Everything about his is a fraud!!" Jack growls with pure anger,"His Unique Magic itself is pretty high level so you can't call everything he does 'fraud'." Ruggie tells him,"I've never put one of my abilities on the line for a deal so I can't tell you how it works." Leona says.

"Wait, what?" y/n raises a brow at him,"Eh? Then, what did you use as collateral when you made a deal?" Jack bravely asks,"Grrr... It doesn't matter. Don't make me remember." Leona growls as a headache starts to form.

"... And, so long as he has that contract then it stays in effect. So that's why he uses deceitful language when drawing up the contracts..." he adds,"And makes you sign for impossible conditions... Is how it goes." Ruggie sighs as he ruffles the back of his head.

"Is there a way to beat him though?" y/n asks with a little bit of hope,"The best way to beat Azul is, 'don't sign'... Hah." Leona gives her a teasing smirk, making y/n immediately frown,"Gee, thanks..." she says sarcastically with arms crossed.

"Ffna... What should we do...?" Grim starts to panic a bit,"Come on Leona, isn't there any way you can at least help us just the slightest?" y/n pleads,"Idiot. Use your head." Leona leans forward and plops a hand on her head,"You have to use 'this' to beat those stronger than you." he then pulls away with a haughty smirk.

"But, yeah. If I was in your position... First, I'd figure out a way to tear up those contracts." he says,"But those contracts are invulnerable!" Grim shouts at him,"Uughh... You guys are really running low on brain cells." Leona drags a hand down his face, completely done with the first years.

"They're the types that would quickly fall for any type of scam or someone impersonating someone else." Ruggie comments with a look of disappointment and the Ramshackle Duo gives him offended looks,"Ffgna!/Wanna repeat that?!" they voice their displeasure.

"In the first place, why did you sincerely believe Azul when he said that his contracts couldn't be destroyed?" Ruggie questions them,"Eh? But our attacks really had no affect..." Jack tells him with confusion,"If I said it was a performance they can put on there... Doesn't it seem like something they could do?" Ruggie says and Jack perks up a this while y/n's eyes widen at this,[Floyd...] she immediately remembers his Unique Magic.

She remembered the first time they ever stepped into Octavinelle how all the anemones retaliated again the trio and how their attacks were all repelled back at them or in a different direction. It was all Floyd's doing at that very moment.

"Every spell has its weak point. That red brat's Unique Magic for sealing even had it's holes. No matter how great the wizard, they can't use magic infinitely." Leona explains,"So Azul's 'it's a Deal' being absolutely invincible is 'absolutely' unimaginable." he states firmly,"His 'It's a Deal' has a weak point..." Jack mutters to himself in thought.

"Rather than challenging the leechz brothers in the ocean, we might be better off looking for that 'weak point' up here. Is what... you're saying?" he looks at Leona for confirmation,"But, that reeks of foul play, you know?" he adds.

"Umm, you know, Jack. Having high morals is great and all, but you weren't able to fight back against Azul even on land." Ruggie reminds him with a stern look,"Gugh, about that..." Jack sweats a bit.

"In general, those guys are villains that tricked some Naive herbivores and made off with all their possessions. Why do you need to hold back? It may be cowardly or a street fight, but it's your win if you can annul the contract." Leona tells them with a hand placed on his waist with his signature smirk that spells trouble.

"Kuuu, that's Leona! He's a coward down to the bone!" Ruggie grins widely,"I guess you haven't learned from the last time you thought up a scheme that almost got you killed." y/n scolds Leona, who leans down to her height with a smug grin,"I told you. I always give it my all." he says lowly and chuckles when y/n pushes his face away.

"... An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth." Jack utters to himself n before nodding with confidence,"Ok. We've got two days, let's go after Azul and aim for our chance to destroy those contracts!" he tells y/n,"Right! Let's do our best guys!" y/n punches a fist into the air, a determined look on her face.

"Do your best, little fresh-babies." Leona says as he turns to walk away,"Eeeh!? You told us all that, but won't help us!?" Grim looks at him in shock and Leona only turns his head to look at them with a bored look,"Why would I? I have you hints as special service. The rest is all on you guys. Bye." he says before leaving.

"I'm also outta here. Good luck, you three~" Ruggie gives them one final grin before following after Leona,"He-heartless jerks!!" Grim and y/n shouts after them with teary eyes, before y/n let's a sneeze,"Achoo!" she sneezes,"Gazuntite." Jack immediately says,"Ugh, thanks..." y/n sniffs before shivering when wind blew past them.

"It's rare for you to give out that much advice." Ruggie spoke up when he and Leona reached the second floor of the dorm,"Huh?" Leona turns to him,"For some reason, do you find our sincere little juniors cute?" Ruggie teases,"Especially a certain Prefect?" he adds with a wiggle of his brows, though his eyes held some competitiveness.

"Stupid. You really think so?" Leona fully turns to him with crossed arms,"If we put those fresh-babies to good use, we might be able to find out that octo-punk's weaknesses without having to lift a finger. Well, I'm not really expecting much." he explains to him with a cunning smile,"I see. That's our Leona." Ruggie grins.

"Hey, Ruggie! Do you have spare clothes to lend y/n?" Jack suddenly calls out and Ruggie peers over the railings at them,"Yeah? Why?" he asks before his ear twitches at the sound of y/n's sneeze.

"She didn't have enough time to pack spare clothes, except underwears! And she only has the one pair of uniform. Think you could help her?" Jack explains to him and Ruggie stares at y/n for a moment,"Sure. Follow me y/n!" he calls out and y/n shivers a bit,"Thanks Ruggie." she says quietly before running after him.

Meanwhile, in Octavinelle...

"... What did you say? Y/n is with Leona?" Azul narrows his eyes at the information the twins relayed to him the moment they got back,"Yes. It seems that the client has somehow fallen into Savanaclaw." Jade remarks with a hand over his chest.

"I see. That is... just a little outside our estimations." Azul admits with a conflicted look,"What'cha wanna do? Squeeze 'em?" Floyd grins widely as he hung himself over the couch,"... No. And it's probably fine to leave Leona alone as well." Azul claims as he pushes his glasses up.

"Wouldn't it be troublesome if he becomes our opponent? Should we not make the first move...?" Jade asks, his mile still there but his brows are furrowed with mild worry,"He is a slothful male lion after all. His principal is keep his neck out of difficult matters." Azul waves the problem off.

"Of course, he is a troublesome opponent, I completely agree, but... I'm sure he feels the same." he leans forward with hands laced together, elbows resting on his legs and lips hidden behind his hands,"He wouldn't even consider antagonizing me because he enjoys it." he says with confidence, a smirks playing on his lips.

"I believe the expression goes something like... don't kick the hornets' nest. As you wish." Jade bows a bit,"Tche. He seems like he'd be good to squeeze." Floyd frowns with disappointment.

"You two. Please continue to keep a close watch on them." Azul orders as he stood up,"Alright." the twins say in unison as Azul leaves for his office.

The next day, Jack and y/n explains their plans to Ace and Deuce about searching a way to destroy Azul's contracts,"Search for a way to destroy the invincible contracts? Sounds good!" Ace gives them a thumbs up,"It's pretty cowardly, though." he adds.

"It's true that might get us what we want. It's cowardly, though." Deuce smiles,[They keep saying it's cowardly, but they're smiling about it.] y/n thought with a sweatdrop,"Shut up! This isn't a time for saying it's cowardly, y'know!" Grim shouts at them.

"If you're gonna talk about cowardly, Azul is doing the same. He told us to get a photo from the ocean and planned to get in our way the entire time." Jack reminds them with crossed arms,"Leona may be cowardly, but he's still the 'genius command tower'. I think it's worth a shot." he says and y/n nods in agreement.

"The word 'cowardly' is starting to not sound like a word..." Deuce utters with a sweatdrop,"Oouuuh... Just the memory of being chased by the twins underwater is making my skin crawl, y'know!" Grim shivers at the memory as he hugs y/n's leg for comfort.

"A contest of speed..." Deuce clenches his fist,"Grr, I could beat them if you could ride a magical wheel underwater!" he claims,"Yeah, yeah, I'm sure." Ace waves him off,"But still... merfolk, huh? The Leech brothers are moray eels, but I wonder what Azul is like in the ocean." he thought out loud.

"Hey, you got a point there." y/n snaps her fingers at this,"Now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure Leona was calling him a 'octo-punk'." Jack tells them,"Is his true form an octopus merman?" Deuce questions,"That nickname would make a lot of sense." y/n chirps,"Ffgna! If he gets more legs underwater then he seems even stronger than a moray eel!" Grim panics with paws on his head.

"That's why we're saying we should think of a way to fight them that doesn't involve going in the ocean." Jack says,"The first step to do this, is we have to find where he has hidden those contracts of yours." y/n says with crossed arms.

"I'm very suspicious of that vault in the VIP room..." Jack tells her,"Same." y/n nods at her,"If that's decided then let's sneak into Octavinelle!" Grim announces with a smirk,"There shouldn't be anyone there since lunch break is before opening hours. Let's check it out." Deuce informs them.

With that, they quickly ran for Octavinelle and avoided being spotted by any of the residents as they snuck into Azul's office,"Right, clear. Left, clear." Grim checked both ways in the office before fully entering the room,"Alright guys, after me!" he calls out.

"It's true. It looks like nobody's here." Jack notes as his ears searched for any small noises as Deuce and y/n go check out the vault,"The vault has two authentication, a password and a key lock. That's fairly tight security." Deuce says with an impressed tone,"You're telling me." y/n says with awe.

Suddenly footsteps catches their attention,"Someone's coming!!" Jack whispers,"Ah, crap. Hide!" Ace says and they all scurry to hide under Azul's desk. Y/n being smooshed against Jack's chest, her face entirely pink because of this,[Ahhhhh!!] she screams mentally because she's against a hit guy's chest. And he's her friend nonetheless.

"No room... Jack, you take up too much space." Ace whispers, his head bend in an uncomfortable manner,"What now?" Jack whispers as his perk up for any sound and he tries to move,"Don't move now!" Ace scolds him, but they all quickly shut their mouths when the office door opens and footsteps nears them.

"Now, let's see..." Azul's voice is hears above them, causing all of their eyes to widen with dread and worry,[Oh crap!] y/n thought as Jack wraps an arm securely around her back.
