《His Good Girl》Chapter 5

I woke up and rolled over, looking at the clock. I bolted up when I saw it was almost eleven and Shane hadn't woken me up. I put my glasses on and go downstairs. I peeked into the livingroom and saw Talon asleep with Shane on his chest, a protective hand under him. I smiled and snuck back upstairs to get my phone. I went back down and took a quick picture before going into the kitchen to start making breakfast.

I had just finished making the pancakes when Talon came in holding Shane. "Good morning," I said sweetly. He kissed my cheek, looking a little tired. "I made coffee," I told him while pointing to the coffee maker. He opened my cabinet when I pointed to where the coffee cups were. He pulled down my Slytherin cup and poured him some coffee while cradling Shane in one arm. "You didn't have to get up with him last night," I said as I finished making the bacon. "I wanted too. You dont get much sleep and I wanted to help you," he said then yawned.

I giggled and took Shane from him, going to lay him down so we could eat. I gave Talon a kiss on the cheek as I passed by him to fix our plates. I sat them on the table before going to get me a cup of coffee. After mixing in creamer and sugar I sat down.

He kissed my cheek and I smiled. We ate and then he did the dishes. "Mind if I use your shower," He asked me. "Not at all. Towels are in the hall closet across from the bathroom," I told him. I was on my way to go get ready when there was a harsh knocking on my door.

I opened it and saw Sawyer with a woman in a skimpy gold dress. I crossed my arms, "What are you doing here?" "I want my son," Sawyer said. I scoffed, "Oh now he's your son? Last I checked you sign your rights over so you wouldn't have to pay child support when we divorced." His jaw clenched and I knew his anger was about to show its ugly head. After all, no one tells Sawyer no, and gets away with it. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get ready to take my son shopping."

"Spending your boyfriend's money," Sawyer asked me. "I didn't think you had it in you to be a gold digger." I felt a hand rest on my back as Talon came up. Sawyer's eyes widened when he took in the massive size of Talon. "If you were smart, then you wouldn't say that about my woman again," Talon said, voice cold. "Talon, meet Sawyer, he said he was here for his son, but I honestly dont know what he's talking about."

"You know exactly what I'm talking about you bitch. Give me Shane," Sawyer snapped. "You signed over your rights. So you dont have a son anymore," I said as Talon stepped forward. Sawyer trembled in fear and anger. I then turned to the woman he was with, "Are you his fiance?" She nodded not knowing what to say. "Take it from someone who has experience when it comes to being with him. Run while you have the chance. He only wants you for your looks, and when they start to go, so will he."

A motorcycle pulled up and I looked around Talon, who looked ready to hit Sawyer, and saw Spider. I gave him a smile, "Hey Spider." He raised an eyebrow at the scene before him. "Spider this is my ex-husband, Sawyer. Sawyer this is Spider, one of Talon's many friends."

"I think it's best we leave," The woman said to Sawyer. "Not without Shane," Sawyer said while shrugging her off. She huffed, "I'll be in the car." Spider offered her a hand down the steps in her skyscraper high heels and she took it. She walked over to the Benz that was parked by Talon's truck. Spider then rested a hand on Sawyer's shoulder, "Iris here is a good woman. One that is loved by an entire club of bikers. You see that man? Talon here is a very respected member of our club and Iris is his woman. That alone makes everyone ready to hurt whoever threatens her. But throw in the fact we all like her, that means we'll do more than hurt you. So this is your only warning, leave now or you will get thrown out on your expensive suit covered ass."

Sawyer glared, then turned his glare to me, "I will be back for him." I smiled, "Good luck Sawyer, because I highly doubt these gentlemen will let that happen." He shrugged off Spider's hand and walked back to his car, slamming the door. I sighed, "Freaking jerk."

I took Talon's hand, trying to calm him down. I then looked at Spider with a smile, "So what brings you by this morning?" "I was on my way to the grocery store when I saw what was going on. Thought I would take the time out of my day and make sure Talon didn't kill someone," He explained with a smile. "Next time I will end up helping in the murder."

Talon chuckled, "If I give you that chance." Spider laughed, "I'll see you guys later. I got to go get what Connie sent me after." I waved as he walked back to his bike. I then pulled Talon back into the house, shutting the door. "I'm sorry about that." He shook his head, "Dont apologize for his behavior. You have no control over it." He kissed my forehead, "Now go get dressed, while I get Shane ready."

I went up the stairs and got ready. I traded my glasses for contacts before putting on a pair of skinny jeans that were a little snug, a cute black tank top that had some nice beeding on it, and black ankle boots that were flat soled. I finished getting ready and went downstairs. Shane was in his carseat, diaper bag ready. The front door was opened and I saw Talon moving the base for the carseat from my car to the backseat of his truck.

I crouched down and smiled at Shane when I saw he was awake. "Hi my baby boy," I cooed. He smiled around his pacifier and my heart melted. Talon came in and I stood up. He grabbed the carseat while I grabbed the diaper bag. He put the carseat in his truck before helping me into the passenger seat.

He took my hand as he drove, "You also need clothes too." "I can get those later, out of another paycheck," I told him. "I wasn't gonna let you pay for anything today," he told me. "What," I asked a little dumbfounded. He brought my hand to his lips and kissed it, not taking his eyes from the road, "I'm taking this chance to spoil the both of you. I've seen Shane's room, and knowing you, you probably have less that actually fits you." He looked at me when we stopped at a red light. "So I'm spoiling you, and you're gonna deal with it." I puffed my cheeks in annoyance then let the air go with a sigh, giving in. Stubborn biker.

I saw him smile victoriously and stuck my tongue out at him. He chuckled and went to paying attention to the road when the light turned green. He took us to the mall a town over and shocked me when he grabbed the stroller from the back of his pick up. He got it set up then put in the carseat. I tucked the diaper bag under it and he began to push it.

We went inside and we went to the baby store. He kept me away from the clearance areas and something told me, he will act the same when we go for me. Stubborn biker.

He even picked out a few things for Shane, and I thought it was cute. Big bad biker, shopping for a baby who had him wrapped around his finger. I smiled softly as I went to where the costumes were. I looked at a couple and found a cute Jack-o-lantern costume in his size. I also picked out a baby's first Halloween onesie with cute socks, a black and orange pacifier clip, and striped pants for before he gets put into the costume.

I went back over to them and saw how much Talon put in the cart when I wasn't looking. I blinked at him and he smiled, kissing my cheek,"Come on." He covered my eyes when the lady began to scan it all. Oh jeez, I thought. After he paid, he shoved the receipt into his pocket, not letting me see it. "Talon, that's a lot of money," I said as I pushed the stroller while he carried the bags. "To me it isn't. I have plenty of it, so you're gonna just have to deal. You think it's bad now, wait till Christmas and your birthdays."

Oh jeez, I thought. "But Talon," I tried again. "I'm gonna stick his pacifier into your mouth," He told me. I huffed in defeat. I dragged my feet when he began to lead me to a women's clothing store. "What's the point if some of this stuff is just gonna get stained by Shane, or breast milk," I asked him. "When that happens, I'll buy you more," he told me. "Not the answer I wanted to hear," I muttered as he chuckled.

He kept me from looking at price tags, and only let me go to clearance to find things I wanted, not cause they were cheaper. At the register, he had covered my eyes and shoved the receipt into his pocket. This was going to be a recurring pattern.

After a few more stores we left. We brought it back to my house and I fed Shane before laying him down while I began to put it all away. Talon stood in the doorway as he watched me, a small smile on his lips. I gathered the empty bags and walked over to him. "As annoyed as I am, I'm still thankful," I told him. He kissed my forehead, "I know."

We left Shane's room and went to mine so I can put my stuff away. I noticed a couple items I hadn't seen get added and raised an eyebrow at him. He just smiled and I knew there was no point in arguing. They were a bottle of perfume and two purses. I didn't really have a purse since I mostly just used Shane's diaper bag.

After putting it all up I felt tired and hungry. He pulled me towards him, "I was thinking we order pizza for lunch and watch movies." I smiled, "That sounds like an amazing plan."

He left the room and I changed into a pair of sweats and a t-shirt. I took out my contacts and put my glasses on before going downstairs. He was changed into a pair of sweatpants and was sitting on the pull out bed. His cut was laying on the end of it. I picked it up and hung it on a hook by the door, "You shouldn't just leave this lying around." I knew its significance to him.

I went back as he was scrolling through Netflix. When the pizza came he paid and brought it in. We got comfortable, cuddling on the bed while we ate, watching some crime show. Eventually though Talon fell asleep. I smiled softly before taking off my glasses and making sure the baby monitor was all the way up. I moved the empty pizza box to the floor and snuggled in close before falling asleep.

Talon's POV

I woke up when I heard Shane crying through the monitor. I looked down and saw Iris cuddled into, wake up. She stretched with a groan. She reached across me before grabbing her glasses and going upstairs. God she was beautiful. Her hair was a mess from sleep and her glasses made her even more adorable. I went to get up to to follow her when my phone rang.

It was Warden. "Hey," I said when I answered. "I know you're probably busy but I need you for a job in an hour," he told me. I nodded, as Iris came down with a bright eyed Shane, "I'll be there." I hung up and looked at her. "I have a job to go do," I told her. "Will you be coming back here or going to the compound," she asked me. "After the incident with Locked Jaw and Sawyer, I'll come back here, as long as you dont mind." She gave me a smile, "I dont mind at all."

I got ready to leave and kissed her cheek. "Here," She said while handing me a key. "So you dont have to knock to come in." I tucked it into my pocket. "Dont wait for me."

I kissed Shane then left. I met everyone in the warehouse area. "We have a transport job, making sure a shipment gets to our buyers," Warden told us. After getting our instructions, we headed out. These jobs were always the most dangerous, with chances of running into the police, or our more current issue, Locked Jaw. They also paid a handsome amount and anyone involved in moving it, got a cut. We parked at the drop off area, waiting for our buyers. "Spider tells me the ex-husband showed up today," Warden said softly. "Bastard wanted to take Shane," I told him. "Claims he'll be back." "Can he take the boy," Warden asked. I shook my head, "He signed his rights to avoid child support. He'll regret it if he comes back." He nodded, "I'll make sure our lawyer is ready for when you get arrested over it." I chuckled and nodded.

"You bringing them to the party," He asked me. I nodded, "I invited them last night. She's nervous but agreed." He smiled softly, "Can't wait to meet them." To be honest I was nervous about her liking my family. She liked Spider and she was such an open person, I shouldn't be worried, but I just cant help it. They were my family and I wanted her and Shane to be my family too. To me they already were, but it was everyone else that I needed to get to see them as.

I've heard several whisper they weren't so sure about her, some claimed she was too different. Some claimed she had too much baggage. I would've knocked their lights out had they said it to her. They were entitled to their opinions and they hadn't met her yet. If they said it to her face however, I'm gonna knock some sense into them.

We stopped talking when our buyers arrived. I became tense when Warden and someone from the truck met half way. Warden took the payment and we backed away from the truck we escorted here. Just as our buyer began to pull out with the truck, Locked Jaw appeared and began firing shots. The trucks halled ass out of there and we did too.

They had too many men with them for us to just stand and fight. We were in deep shit. Spider had the fastest motorcycle out of all of us so he fell back and took the bag of cash from Warden, then jetted off to get it back to the compound while we all split up to try and loose them.

Three of the bastards were on my tail as I took them down tricky back roads. I took a shot to my right shoulder, the force of it, making me swerve and go off road. I fell from my bike while it crashed into a tree. I looked up and saw the world spinning as I heard the motorcycles ride past me, their laughter ringing in my ears. Iris is gonna kill me, I thought before I blacked out.
