---- Scarlett's POV------

After many years of travel we all settled in The Holy Kingdom Of Ice with Trinity's forces lying and wait for her command all around the world of Regalius.

Coming back to the present I smiled at the memories of the past. Then I proceeded to enter the 21st floor of Sapphire. Upon entering the home of my love.

I immediately noticed that she had started to decorate this place with the same aesthetics as home.

The place looked cold but elegant as Trinity loved a clean atmosphere in her home. Walking around I finally found Trinity looking at a painting on the wall of her parents and her at the age of eight.

Walking up to Trinity I smiled loosing my cold demeanor that I used to deal with my subordinates. Then immediately adopted a cute submissive attitude towards my wife.

Walking up to Trinity I took her in my arms and held her as she looked at her parents.

"Scarlett do you think they would be proud of what I have achieved today?"

"Of course they would honey they are your parents. Sometimes you just have to believe in yourself a little bit more."

"Honey you have achieved more than anyone I've ever met. In all of our travels together you stand above all others in my eyes. So don't doubt yourself."

"Ha ha your right Scarlett I know I have done a lot of things these past few years but it does get tiring. Especially having to come back here and leave home behind."

"Unfortunately circumstances don't allow me to stay away from Everose anymore."

---- Trinity's POV------

With Scarlet holding me we walked to my office together and sat down. A servant brought us some fresh tea to enjoy.

While sipping my tea I noticed that Scarlett had changed her clothing she was wearing red lingerie underneath her white shirt.

That clearly showed her excellent figure under her outfit.

"You little mix your trying to get my attention aren't you but I appreciate the effort. Your outfit matches your hair." I say winking to her smiling as my mood greatly improved.

Scarlett immediately turned her face away from me shyly. So I sat my tea down and ran over to her to begin to kiss her on her neck gently as she started to turn increasingly red. With embarrassment as we had fun making out a bit.

After a bit of fun I held Scarlett in my arms as we looked at the news on the television which featured a news article on Adrian Fury in his ongoing efforts to try and get a hold of the CEO of The Shield group in an effort to set up a partnership with the corporation.

"Scarlett that nasty man just wants to take advantage of me to use my fusion technology. He probably thinks I haven't noticed the fact that he has a few worms running around my company trying to cause trouble."

Scarlett trembled in anger at the mention of the worms on the board of directors of the Shield group who originally put there by Trinity when she was a minor and she needed help running the corporation she had intermediaries who often did business deals on her behalf.

"Scarlett calm down it's natural that Adrian would be able to infiltrate my company on various levels especially through men. He only has to lure them with the promise of money and power. Family obviously means nothing to them."

"It's not fair Trinity it seems like if not for your efforts to change things everything in this world is designed to go against you and anyone associated with you."

"Mm it's kind of part of my identity that things can be easily more difficult for me than others Scarlett. However I have managed to create a way in which those that I care for are not influenced by these factors anymore after years of effort."

"I know what you have done honey but I hope you share your burden's with us as well." Scarlett said in a cute pouting voice.

"Ha Ha come on Scarlett I still spoil you to much don't I. Adrian Fury honestly poses little risk to me right now. It's more of the people behind him that I'm concerned about."

"These fossils will not make a move easily though as they often prefer to use pawns like Adrian and others to do their work."

"Trinity you're talking about that generational syndrome aren't you. The one that we've seen many times in our travels is that if you beat up a junior member of a family more and more older generations show up to challenge you each more strong than the other."

"Yes Scarlett but it's a bit more complicated this time around. But that is a common theme we've seen in our travels is it not."

Sighing to myself the people in this world really don't know the meaning of the word retreat instead of fighting a useless battle they should just run away. But they always come back for more and that allows me to destroy them.
