《LET ME IN (ENHYPEN FF)》17~ ippeo ippeoyo

Time quickly passed, as it was soon the day of our second I-LAND test.
I tapped my foot restlessly against the floor as I stayed still for my make-up to be done.
"You have the most perfect skin Soojin!" complimented the older lady as she gently patted the soft cushion pad onto my cheeks.
"Ah thank you." I giggled slightly bowing at her.
"Are you nervous for your performance today?" she questioned as she picked up another make-up brush, sweeping it across her hand.
Yes.
Very nervous.
This was the most nervous I've ever been for a performance.
"Just a little." I replied gesturing a small space with my fingers.
She laughed at my action.
"Of course. As expected of the ace!"
My smile subtly faded after hearing her words.
There it goes again.
The word that makes my toes crinkle.
Ace.
I sighed as I slowly found myself lost in my thoughts.
Like I've said many times before, as much as I'm so truly grateful to be known as the ace on the show, I can't help but get anxious from the constant pressure.
The expectations everyone has had on me ever since I arrived here has slowly been eating me up alive.
For the past few weeks, I've spent restless nights sobbing in bed, fearing one day I'd mess up and let everybody down.
It's so pathetic that I can't just enjoy the benefits of being looked up to by everyone. Like Jake once said, the other applicants on the show would do just about anything to have my title.
Even still, why are my negative thoughts overbearing the good ones?
I don't deserve being called the ace.
I don't deserve all the praises from the producers.
I don't deserve all the friends I've made.
I don't deserve to even be in the I-LAND.

My self-degrading thoughts soon came to a halt when the make-up artist did her finishing touches.
"Okay Soojin, you are ready to get dressed now."
I nodded at the lady and politely bowed before getting up from the chair.
•••
I watched in envy as the small girl sat at the make-up chair being showered with praise from the lady painting her face.
I crossed my arms in frustration as I clicked my tongue.
Park fucking Soojin.
That girl thinks she has the show wrapped around her finger doesn't she.
Well, I don't think so.
I'll show her what happens when you steal the spotlight away from Kim Misun.
I smirked devilishly as I strutted my way into the dressing room.
I scanned the clothing racks with a beady eye before landing my eyes upon the rack in the back corner.
I felt the corners of my lips widen into a smirk as I stepped my way to the rack.
Looking behind my shoulder to see if anyone was around, I quickly fished out a pair of scissors from my pocket.
Let's see how much of an ace you really are, Park Soojin.

"Well, well, well, how the time flies! Today we will be watching the I-LANDER's second performance test!" cheered Chu as she introduced the segment of the show.
"We sure are Chu! Today the applicants will be performing songs with the concept of aegyo!" spoke Sunmi as she threw her hands in the air.
The hosts and producers all clapped excitedly.
"I heard there were a few conflicts among the girls during the preparation for today's stage. I wonder if they'll be able to pull of a good performance." stated Chungha.
The room was filled with hums of agreement.
"Yes, it is a very important day for the I-LANDERS, as today they are going to be ranked from one to twelve by the judges." informed Sunmi.

"What are your thoughts Hyunsik?"
The hosts watched in eagerness as they waited for the man's response.
"I'm very excited to see today's performance as I have yet to see some of the applicants perform with an aegyo concept. I am aware that there are some girls' who struggle a lot with this type of thing, so I hope to see them give it all they've got today."
The cameras panned to the stage as a group of six girls made their way to their positions.
"Ooo looks like first up is Kim Chohee, Park Haewon, Lee Sunhee, Kim Misun, Park Aerum and Park Soojin!"
Applause echoed the room as the stage soon lit up into bright colours.
*I made it a girl version instead hehe hence the change from girl to boy

The girls moved in sync as they energetically bounced across the stage.
Their facial expressions were cute and lively.
Dressed up in nice clothes
I'm on my way to you
I'm so excited and nervous
I'm curious about your reaction
The sunlight is so nice
A floating sensation
I want you to paint the sky with your colours
The judges watched with beaming smiles as the girls' intently displayed their own cute gestures.
The performance was going smoothly until Park Soojin's part came on and the camera quickly panned to the ground.
The judges all stared at the screen in shock.
"Oh no! It looks like there has been a wardrobe malfunction with Park Soojin's shirt!"
Everyone gasped and sighed as the unfortunate event dulled the once livened set.
Producer Cho Hyunsik looked at the poor girl through the screen with sympathy.
•••
You've got to be kidding me.
This is not happening right now.
My heart fell to my chest as I felt the strap from my shirt completely fall to my elbow, exposing my laced bralet.
I quickly made an attempt to grab the strap and pull it back up, but to my despair, my part was coming up soon and it involved using my hands.
Unable to think of a solution, I frantically sang my part as I had practiced, leaving my upper chest to be exposed to the camera.
My pretty heart
Can you take it, baby?
Our shine in your eyes
It's so nice
Holding your pretty hands, I want to fly far away
Today (Today) Particularly (Particularly)
You look pretty
As the song advanced to the chorus, I held the strap up securely with my left hand, restricting me from fully performing the choreography.
Tears filled the corners of my eyes as I pushed through the rest of the song, unable to properly execute my parts.

I gave my last smile to the camera before waiting for the song to conclude.
Once we were given the 'ok' signal from the media team, I ran as fast as I could backstage.
That did not just happen.
My whole ass bra was exposed for everyone to see!
How did it even fall off like that?
Why did it seem as if it was purposely cut off?
I snapped out of my trance when I crashed into a hard, stiff chest.
I looked up to face the figure as my eyes met with a boy with a concerned look on his face.
He looked at me with caring eyes as he suddenly pulled my into his chest for a warm embrace.
"It's okay Soojin." cooed the calming voice as I felt his gentle hands caress my head.
"Heesung oppa is here."

Rise for the Sky [Slow-Pace Multi-Lead Dungeon Crawler]
Sixty people have awoken at the bottom of a one hundred floor dungeon. Together they must confront the terror of monsters and seek the answers to why they are here. Expectations: This story is written from multiple perspectives, male and female. Most chapters are a single person, but there will be chapters where there are a couple of quick scenes with different people. The story does take place in a dungeon, but there is no leveling system. This a realistic take on the classic litRPG and iskai tropes written like a traditional novel. There is a profanity warning because I wish to be natural with how people talk and cursing is a thing people do. So it will happen where it makes sense. Gore is warned because this is a realistic take, and people will be torn apart by monsters. I don't plan to be overly detailed with it but be warned it will happen. Updates Every Monday. Chapters will be between 3,000 to 5,000 words. Fulfill Patreon goals to increase updates

Meg The Heavenly Merchant
Updates once a week.(This is a rough draft) Author's Note: This story has grown in ways I did not predict and while it still features a merchant those aspects have gotten less page time than the fighting and romance elements. I have updated the description to represent the story better) For the past fourteen years Meg has dedicated herself to walking the path of a Heavenly Dragon Knight in her favorite videogame, Tattered Realms:Chaos Age. But now the game is shutting down and everyone wants to know what she plans to do for the sequel. Meg isn't sure at first. She knows only that she yearns for the days when she could lose herself in a game without worrying about boss strategies and crushing her rivals. And when her friend suggests playing a merchant her heart is filled with the same wanderlust and inspiration that launched her gaming career in the first place. But if she isn't dominating dungeons and setting records will people still watch her play? And can she really walk away from all the fighting for a quiet life of buying and selling?
