Soojin would always visit Shuhua at Saturday and Sunday, when she has to go to work. Those two days, they got to know each other a little better. Soojin would always drive Shuhua to school, they would be so caught up in their conversations with each other while they were in the car. They felt like they can talk on and on about everything and anything in life.
Since both their schedules from Monday to Wednesday align, they decided to hang out together with Soojin's friends. "Where should we hang out?" asked Shuhua. The small girl was a little nervous, fiddling her thumbs in the passenger seat. She's scared she'll mess up and the girl she likes gets turned off by her actions. The last thing she'd want is for the latter's friends to not like her.
"I was thinking at the café? Is that okay?" Soojin glanced at her, smiling, then went back to focus on
driving. Shuhua could swear that smile can kill her, but she needed to calm down. "Sure, Soojin~ah." she breathed out some air that she was holding back,
"Are you okay?" Soojin checked up on her, while subconsciously touching the latter's hand to comfort her. Shuhua's heart began racing, gay.
"Yes." Shuhua was acting weird, and Soojin got worried. She parked her car on the small girl's school, Soojin turned to look at her. "Are you not comfortable with my friends?" she said softly, trying not to sound intimidating.
Shuhua's eyes widened, "No! No no. I like your friends, I'm just scared they won't like me,"
Soojin smirked, "Everybody likes you." She said it so straightforwardly that Shuhua couldn't comprehend what she was hearing. "h-huh?"
"Nothing, Shuhua~yah. You should go to class now," Soojin smiled at her. She didn't realize how much she loved the latter's smile up until that moment.

Shuhua enters the café, inhaling the familiar scent of caffeinated drinks and diabetes. As she was making her way towards a free booth, she bumps with a certain chinese girl. "What the fuck are you doing here?" asked Yuqi, "Uh? I could say the same for you?" Shuhua responded.
"I was about to meet my friend's friend," Yuqi answered.
"Who?"
"Soojin"
"What?"
"What do you mean what??"
"I'M MEETING HER TOO. SHE'S THE GIRL I'VE BEEN—"
She gets cut off by Soojin, who was making her way towards the duo alongside Miyeon, Minnie, and Soyeon. "You guys know each other?" Soojin asked, her small voice is so contradicting with her alluring cat eyes.
Shuhua stares in shock as Soojin ruffles her hair back, "I live with this dumbass," Yuqi says as she put her arm around a Shuhua who has her jaw dropped, still checking Soojin out. She gained her composure again, saying "Shut up!" to Yuqi because the latter referred to her as dumbass.
Yuqi then moved to Soojin's side, whispering, "So she's the one you've been blabbering about???" she said to the older girl, teasing her. She then turned to look at Shuhua and smirked, "Damn gurl, I didn't know you're capable of making someone look at you like that."
Shuhua grew confused as to what her roommate was saying. Soojin blushed, muttering a 'hey!' shyly. Miyeon hit Yuqi, 'shhh!!' while giggling. Soyeon was the only one Shuhua hadn't met so they greeted each other, they all sat down at a small booth in the café, ordered some drinks and started talking about random things until Yuqi had brought up a certain topic again. She whispered to Shuhua, "So this is the girl you're head over heels for?"

"What? I didn't say that." She lied,
"Well, your smile looked like one that those creepy clowns have at the circus while talking to Soo—" she stopped herself when she was cut off by Minnie who was 'coughing,' signaling that they were hearing the duo's conversation. Shuhua mentally facepalmed, wanting to bury herself a hole right then and there.
Soojin felt herself blush, but didn't want to assume anything, so she tried to continue the past conversation. Soyeon laughed at Soojin's failed attempt, because the girl clearly became a stuttering mess. "She does this when she's in front of pretty girls." Soyeon said teasingly, nudging playfully at Soojin's arm.
"N-No, I don't!" Soojin huffed as her own friends teased her of her obvious stuttering. Shuhua giggles but slowly realizes—
'Hmm? Pretty girls?' Shuhua raised her eyebrows as she thought about it, Maybe I do have a chance after all.
They're friendly date with Soojin's, and apparently Shuhua's too, friends went by really fast and according to then, enjoyable. Shuhua couldn't be more relieved, she wanted nothing more for her crush's friends to like her. She inhales a sharp breath, crush huh?

Hey shushu, I'm bored
hey jinjin~ I'm almost done with my
shift, do you want to maybe go somewhere
with me since we're both bored ^-^
that would be great, babyy~
i'll pick you up at the café
stay warm!
okay jinjin~ drive safe!
😚
Shuhua put her phone back on her back pocket, trying to ignore the warmth from her neck to her cheeks. "Miss, are you okay?" she gets snapped out of her thoughts by a customer trying to order. She blushes more in embarrassment, she smiles, "Y-Yeah, of course! Your latte will take a second, sir."
The guy smiles, trying to show off his charm towards the girl. "Is it because you saw me?" He says confidently, if she didn't need this job, she thinks she would have puked on the spot. She mentally rolled her eyes, "No, sir." she tries to be nice but the guy seems to not show any sign of stopping.
"Sure, it wasn't~" His flirty tone evident in his voice as his smirk grew, making Shuhua a bit uncomfortable. She shifts in her position as she fumbles on the sharpie marker, "What's your name, sir?" she asks politely, trying not to look too disgusted. "Oh? We're on a first name basis now, aren't we?" At this point, Shuhua was growing annoyed. She wanted to wipe off that smug smile off his face—
"Hey babyy~" she hears a familiar voice, her head perks up at the direction of the café door. Her smile starts to show as she lays her eyes on the red haired girl, the cause of her blush earlier. Mentally thanking the Lord for Soojin's entrance, her smile grew even more. There was a familiar warmth whenever Soojin would get near her proximity. Even more so when the latter starts calling her such endearing names,
The guy widened his eyes and his ego starts shrinking, "I-It's Geo, my name's geo." He smiles at Shuhua and just settles his eyes on the plastic cup, he waits patiently for his latte. Soojin raises her eyebrows, then pays attention back to Shuhua. "I was thinking we could go for a walk," Soojin's soft smile tugs maybe too many heartstrings, just maybe. Soojin's pout made it harder for Shuhua, "Y-Yes, sure jinjin," she managed to utter.

"Good!" she says a little too enthusiastically, "By the way, can I just stand here and wait? I want to be near you." Soojin's statement was so bold, even she felt like she was taken aback herself. The guy, who was feeling like a third wheel, finally got his latte and left rather quickly. Shuhua felt so amused that she laughed, Soojin grew confused. "Why? Was he funny?" Soojin didn't mean it to come off in that tone, but it did.
Shuhua's laughter died down, "No, he just left really quickly after he saw you— us."
"..Before you came, he was acting so smug and confident," Shuhua let out a chuckle while fiddling with a spare plastic cup. "Trying to flirt and all.."
Shuhua looked up at Soojin, she swore she saw the latter's eye twitch a little bit. But it might as well just be her mind playing. "Oh? Why'd he stop?"
Shuhua thought about it, a blush growing once more, "you called me baby.." she said in a small voice while looking down at anywhere else rather than Soojin's eyes. The girl only hummed in response, smiling a little to herself that she managed to scare off a guy that was flirting with— her crush.
"Good." Soojin whispered, Shuhua pretending to not hear what the latter said, tilted her head and asked "what?" Soojin shook her head in response—
"Nothing, baby~ Your shift is almost over! Pack up your things, let's go for a walk" Soojin smiled innocently at Shuhua. She did as she was told, excitedly putting all her things back in her backpack and punching in the time clock to end her shift.
She walked back to where Soojin was waiting, "Let's go, jinjin~" she said cutely, Soojin smoothly took the latter's hand and guided her outside. Inhaling the fresh air outside of the café, they walked calmly in an unknown direction. Soojin didn't let go of the taiwanese's hand, Shuhua gasped as she realizes Soojin took their intertwined hands together on the pocket of Soojin's thick coat.
"I saw this in a drama once.." Soojin smiled and crunched up her nose cutely, Shuhua noticed the small habit and giggles. Her thumb rubbed the older girl's unconsciously, it felt comfortable. "What? The cliché hand holding in the pocket?"
"Yeah, it doesn't feel cliché when it's with you though."
They both walked mindlessly around the streets of Seoul, though it is a cold time, they both felt warmth in each other. Soojin drove Shuhua home as usual, feeling more contentment rise in her. The older girl opened the car door for Shuhua, as the taiwanese smiled in gratitude. Soojin took Shuhua's hand again and lead her to the porch of Shuhua's home. "Stay safe okay? Don't miss me too much, we'll see each other tomorrow," Shuhua started, her somewhat flirty joke caught by Soojin, whose ears were reddening.
"Of course~ You too okay?" Soojin smiled so wide, she swore her lips would pop. Shuhua turns the silver doorknob of their home, she looks back at Soojin who just closed the car door. The taiwanese inhaled, then ran to Soojin's car. She knocked on the car window and was visited by a confused Soojin. Rolling down the window, she asked the younger,
"Why? Did you forget som—"
Her sentence cut off midway as she felt hands on her cheek pulling her closer to the latter's face. Their lips touched and Soojin's body felt like melting. Shuhua's eyes closed as their kiss deepened. It only felt like 2 seconds for the both of them, "Wow." Soojin gasped, breathless from what just happened. "wow right?"
She looked up at Shuhua's teasing smile, contradicting since the taiwanese's face was also extremely red. It was evident too, since she was so pale. "Baby, as much as I want to continue kissing you. I have to go home okay? Mom's waiting for me," Soojin giggles as Shuhua starts pouting. "Okay, jinjin. Just drive safe okay?" her smile was like of a lovestruck teenager— and Soojin's is like that too. The older girl nods, putting her seatbelt on. "Bye shushu, I'll miss you."
"Oh please, like we don't see each other every morning." Shuhua smiles once more. "What can I say? I just can't get enough of you." Soojin replies.
"Sappy Seo Soojin huh?" Shuhua shakes her head in amusement, Soojin just nods because she is just that whipped for the younger. "I have to go now okay? Byebye shuhua," she blew a kiss as her window comes to a close. Shuhua blew a kiss back once the window is shut, earning a small chuckle from the older girl. She drives out of the Yeh's driveway and smiles to herself. Shuhua turns around and runs upstairs quickly, looking up at her ceiling and smiling like an idiot.
—————————————————————
Soojin never felt a day go by so slow before. She releases a sigh of relief as her last professor tells them to pack up and dismiss them. She slicks her hair back and grabs her backpack, maybe a little too excited to go to a café to meet a certain brunette. She quickly walks over to her car and starts the engine.
Shuhua, with 30 minutes left on her shift, felt so bored. She fished her phone out of her pocket and started to play offline games on her phone. Too focused on what she was playing, she didn't hear the chimes of the door that signals whenever a customer arrives. Soojin smiles to herself, cute.
"Yeh Shuhua! Customer." Her manager sternly called out to her. Shuhua's eyes widen as she composes herself in front of the customer. Suddenly realizing that it wasn't just a customer, she lets out a sigh. "Damn, I was too engrossed with my game huh?"
"Yeah, pretty much. It's cute though." Soojin's eyes felt hot on hers, they made eye contact as Shuhua smiles softly.
"Is it going to be like this everytime?" Shuhua jokingly says to Soojin, whom was leaning over the counter with a small playful smile. Soojin bites her lip and looks at the latter softly. "Why? Do you not want to see me every day?" Soojin teasingly says,
Shuhua blushed at the comment while mindlessly wiping a utensil with a handkerchief. If someone had put a stethoscope on her chest, they might think she had a cardiovascular illness.
Soojin looks at the girl, anticipating an answer. Shuhua giggled, "Of course I want to.." she starts as she gathers the courage and takes the latter's fingers in her hands and fiddles with them. "I want to start every morning by seeing you."

The Wrong Hero
The gods have been known, in times of great need, to summon a hero from another world. In ages past, they have summoned mighty warriors from other universes to fight as their champion and save the world from darkness. Unfortunately, the gods are not all-knowing, and they can make mistakes. Sometimes what they get is not quite what they were expecting...
8 191Tale of Family - Book 1 - WIP
The world is peaceful in 2063. Fusion reactor and Diamon battery had taken care of the energetical problem. Countries were stable. Automation was everywhere. Life wasn't hard anymore, at least not in the United States of Europe. Summer break is about to start and, finally, Zoe will turn 18 and be able to play the game, Binding Fate. A simple video game, a vrmmo, but what swam under its surface wasn't simple. Power, fame and money were but the tip of the iceberg... State: Hiatus because I've an idea for another story. Quick F.A.Q. : - Yuri/female homosexual relation? Yes.- Yaoi/male homosexual relation? Maybe.- Explicit Sexual Content? Maybe.- Full Fledged Tragedy? No. Never, ever ever.- Body Modification/Body Horror? Yes. (Note: what one person think is body horror can be acceptable for someone else. If you want to see to what length I can go, read a bit of The Other Labyrinth. However, I won't go as high as quickly in the body mod/horror, so relax.- Gore? Hell yeah! I love gore! spraying blood and viscera etc...- Torture? Hurgh... maybe? Idk. Not at the start at the very least.- Memory loss/erasing? No, or at least not permanently. I basically hate this trope because it's like taking out all the character grow from a character, destroying everything that makes them what and who they are. so no.- Overpowered protagonist? You will see mufufu...- Will characters stay relevant seeing how numerous they are? YES, MOTHERFUCKING YES, I hate when characters relevance decay over time for no good reasons ^^'- Plot Armor? First of all, a definition: "Sometimes referred to as "Script Immunity" or a "Character Shield", Plot Armor is when a main character's life and health are safeguarded by the fact that he's the one person who can't be removed from the story. Therefore, whenever Bob is in a situation where he could be killed (or at the least very seriously injured), he comes out unharmed with no logical, in-universe explanation." (courtesy of https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PlotArmor I love you guys ^^) So now that this is said, do my characters have plot armour? No, because I always have an in-universe explanation, even if you don't know it yet ^^ Something is illogical or don't make sense? Read more, the answer is surely in the story ^u^- Balanced system? If you want to crush numbers and have a perfect equation balancing all the system, that's not the story for you. The system is more like a living being, and the rewards aren't forcibly tied to the level of the player. In fact, the system is purposely unbalanced ^^' Author's note: My goal here is to write a slow-paced story revolving around the bonds linking the characters, be them family, friends or lovers. Fight will be part of it, but I intend to build an actual interesting world before making truly large-scale battle happen, because the bigger a battle is, the larger its causes and effects are. I also aim at telling a story about how the characters actually help each other becoming stronger, more stable and happier. I particularly despise the lone MC type that becomes so powerful that every other character of the current setting become irrelevant beside being hostage targets, so this will not happen. I also like crafting, arrays, blacksmithing etc... so there may be crafting. Another thing I like is management game like sim-city or the like, so this while also appears, keeping in mind that I like MC's that make people around them stronger... For the tropers around here, a list of tropes that I like to use (note that I may not use all of them ^^) (this list will be updated as I dive deeper and deeper into our dear trope wiki.)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BodyHorror- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SealedGoodInACan- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/YouAreNotAlone- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ZombieAdvocate (In particular since I see a lot of things that aren't human as worthy to live and to live with)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EvenEvilHasLovedOnes- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EvenEvilHasStandards- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HeelFaceTurn- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CorruptTheCutie (Note: being corrupted don't mean you're a villain, only different than before.)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DefectingForLove (Of course.)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/VillainousRescue- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/InterspeciesAdoption (For the same reasons as zombie advocate, since I love family stuff)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BrokenBird (to go with corrupt the cutie if it's a girl)Cover: "The Bard" by John Martin, 1817.
8 153The Last Changeling
In a world filled with dangerous people and even more dangerous beasts, a small changeling fights against all odds to survive. Von is the last of his species, hunted to extinction by the enlightened races, his goal is not only survival but also revenge.
8 135Knight and Deserter
The year is 1039 of Autorm, and nothing has changed. The Knight Seekers still patrol the old highways, death is common in life, and justice is but an afterthought. Power is the unspoken truth, wealth is a means to an end. Anything else becomes irrelevant. The novel takes place in the fictional Kingdom of Spartha. The story revolves mainly around the adventure of two characters. Leondre vae Marras, the fourth son of a Marquis. A prodigy in the Royal Military Academy, and aspiring Knight-errant. Albeit he's still a teenager, naive, and also inexperienced with the outside world. He is also one of the few knights to take the code of Chivalry seriously. Then there's Cendric Forrester, the bastard of a decorated Knight. Sold off in servitude to the Order of the Knights Seeker, to unwillingly pay his mothers debt. He's tired of being the Orders pet hound. Ruthless to those standing in his way, and disillusioned with Chivalry and the world around him. Cendric is a survivor, and firmly believes one should have their own self interests in mind. Two opposites of a coin, the only thing they have in common besides their ire for each other is blood. They're cousins surprisingly, not that it really matters.
