I stood in the practice room, tying up my hair as the staff started setting up cameras. One of the staff members told me that they'll start filming soon and I should say why I'm here. I nodded and waited for their signal, "Hello Engenes. I'm currently in a HYBE practice room, waiting for Minjee sunbaenim. We're going to prepare a dance cover for the Music Bank Special in two weeks. She just texted me, saying she's entering the building, so she'll be here soon."

Right on cue a happy voice entered the room, "Soojin!"

I turned around and did a 90 degree bow, "Hello, sunbaenim."

Minjee laughed and bowed as well, "Hello, Soojin! Also no need for the formalities." She assured.

I laughed, "Alright. Minjee." I teased, nudging her arm.

She turned to the camera, "Hello everyone. This is going on Enhypen's channel right?" She asked the staff. A mix of her staff members and mine were recording.

"We'll use the same footage from the camera for your channels." A staff member answered.

Minjee nodded, "Right then, hello everyone. It's Minjee." She said happily as she bowed.

"And we're going to do a special stage for Music Bank's First Half special. A lot of people want us to do a collab so- here we are!" I explained.

"The song we're doing is Twice sunbaenim's I Can't Stop Me. We chose the song because it was a very- upbeat song, and it fits both of our tastes in music." Minjee continued.

"Shall we get started?" I asked. I put my hand over to camera as the staff members turned it off.

"Let's go record your cover first, then we'll work on the choreography." My manager said. We both nodded and left the practice room to the recording studio.

3rd Person POV

"Do you two have your lyrics?" The producer asked. The girls both nodded and showed him the papers, "Okay, then. Minjee let's have you go first okay?" Minjee nodded and stepped into the recording studio.

Soojin watched as Minjee started recording effortlessly, "Wah- she looks so professional."

With Minjee:

"Oh I've been caught under the spot, spot, spotlight~" Minjee sang. She frowned, "Can I run that again?" She asked the producer, "My pronunciation was odd. I said spa light." Minjee explained. The producer gave a thumbs up, "Oh I've been caught under the spot, spot, spotlight~" Minjee gave a satisfied smile, "Can I give it a listen?" The producer played the new recording. Minjee gave him a thumbs up, "Okay next part!"

After recording Minjee's parts

"Soojin! You're next~" Minjee said happily.

Soojin got up with her papers, "Right, wish me luck!" She said as she walked towards the recording studio.

"Fighting!" Minjee cheered.

In the recording studio:

"We're going to do the intro. Just the oohs okay?" The producer told Soojin. She gave a thumbs up and started singing the intro while listening to Minjee's recording of it.

Soojin came out of the recording studio with a big smile, "It's done!"

Minjee stood up, "Yay! That's great! Can we listen to it?" She asked the producer.

The producer nodded and pressed play

As the song played the two girls got more excited, "It sounds so good!" Minjee exclaimed.

Soojin nodded, "Agreed."

"Do you guys want to have a lunch break?" One of the managers asked. Both girls nodded eagerly, "Alright, why don't you decide the menu then and I'll order."

They both bowed, "Thank you."

The girls sat on the couch in front of the camera, talking about what they wanted to order, "What type of food do you want?" Minjee asked.

An idea appeared in Soojin's head, "On three we say what type we want?"

Minjee nodded, "Okay. Three two-"

Soojin cut her off, "Minjee! On the count of THREE! THREE! Not one!" She laughed.

"Okay, one, two, three."

"Korean barbecue!" Both girls smiled when they realized they wanted the same thing.

"So you two want Korean barbecue?" The manager asked.

Soojin nodded her head, "Yes please."

"While we wait for the food, you two are going to answer questions." One of the staff members said. The girls nodded, "Have you two met before Soojin's debut?"

Minjee nodded, "She join in mid 2018 so I trained with her for a bit before we went to the U.S."

Soojin frowned, "Really? I don't remember that."

"Yah!" Minjee scolded, "We had dance classes together!"

Soojin looked at the camera, "I have no idea what she's on about." She whispered. Minjee rolled her eyes, "I'm kidding! I do remember. You were like- the ace."

Minjee shook her head, "That was Yeonjun and Heeseung!"

"But your nickname was Golden girl." Soojin argued.

The staff were laughing at their wholesome argument, "Okay next question, Minjee did you watch I-Land and what was your first reaction to Soojin joining?"

Minjee clicked her tongue, "Soojin was a hidden trainee so it wasn't announced. But I did have my suspicions when she moved to BE:LIFT. I did watch the show and I was very impressed by her to say the least." Minjee chuckled, "Bang PD-nim has talent when comes to choosing trainees."

Soojin laughed, "Agreed."
