"soojin-ah! soojin-ah, please wake up!" i cried out continuously as i held her. her body laid still will blood slightly pouring down the right side of her face and slightly at her side of her stomach.
the ambulance and paramedics suddenly rushed to us.
"young man, you need to move please," one of them sternly said as they basically moved me aside.
still in shock, i stumbled backwards as i watched them do what they needed to do. my hands were slightly filled with her blood. the adrenaline in my body began to rush and i did the first thing i felt like i should have done.
pulling out my phone, i began to call the number i had typed in.
"hello?" a woman's voice spoke first.
"ms. jung? it's yoongi."
"oh, yoongi-ah, what did you call me for?"
"s-soojin. she got hit by a car," i broke it out to her.
"what?! yoongi, where are you right now?" she asked slightly demanding.
before i could tell her, the paramedics propped soojin's body onto a stretcher until one came towards me.
"young man, are you related to this girl in any way?" the man asked.
"s-she's my girlfriend," i manage to speak out, meanwhile soojin's mom was still on the phone.
"is there any way you can contact one of her family member's number?"
"i'm on the phone with her mother right now," i said to him.
"we're bringing her to moonhwa hospital. so you and her mother can meet there."
the adrenaline in me pumped so much that it was a bit hard for me to take everything in. please tell me soojin will be okay.
"where is she?!" i heard a woman's shrilling voice fill the air. my head turned and i saw ms. jung talking with one of the nurses. then she saw me. tears formed in her eyes as she ran over to me.

"t-tell me she'll be okay," she whimpered as she looked at me. it was so hard to look back at her for i didn't know which words to say to her. i wanted to say 'it'll be alright' but what if it isn't. my lips parted slightly but then closed together.
"miss, they're still in the emergency room with her. my best advice is for both of you to sit and wait here," one of the nurses said.
ms. jung cried softly touching her forehead in grief. i couldn't help but place my arm on her back and comforted her.
"it'll be okay. it all has to be," i manage to softly say. but in my heart, i didn't feel okay at all. soojin-ah, please push through.
the sound of the door open and a man came out pulling away at his mask, but the expression on his face i could not read.
"my daughter! how is she?" ms. jung frantically push the question right onto him. i stood up to my feet also wanting an answer from him.
after what finally seemed like a billion years, the man's lips parted and everything stopped.
"i'm sorry, ms. jung. she's gone. there was nothing we could do for her."
in the ringing of my ears, ms. jung suddenly started to cry. her cried filled the hospital halls as most of the nurses and doctors looked our way. i stared at the man completely frozen, like all the life in me had disappeared.
that's when ms. jung slightly began to tip over causing the doctor to catch her in the process.
"ms. jung! please calm down!"
"no, no! she can't be gone!" she cried out shrillingly, "YOU BRING HER BACK!"
"ms. jung, please!"
my eyes suddenly became warm and i felt something fall from them. confused, i wiped at my eyes and saw they were wet. i kept wiping and wiping away, but it only continued. and then i realized, i was crying.
soojin, my first love, was gone. just like that.

Someday, he might even – hatch? “CHEEP!?” Things to Know: -Cheep!? Will release on a minimum weekly schedule. -After a backlog of chapters, posting will slow, but in the interim you can expect a chapter a day up until roughly 25 chapters. -This story at times will potentially carry some heavy moments, but the tone is intended to be lighter overall. -There are invisible game-like elements in this story, but nothing so concrete as a dedicated gamelit novel. -I personally have some issues with anxiety, so I may or may not interact with the community a lot. I'll try if anyone has questions, but I can't guarantee that it'll be consistent. -MC is a non-human lead, and will never actually become human. Romance will potentially happen between side-characters, but not with the MC. -MC IS NOT THE ONLY VIEW POINT. I have to put that out there because people sometimes hate alternate PoV's in a story. None of them will be filler, and they'll be there only to give a little bit more nuance and meaning to the world that the MC has stepped in, or is about to be imminently important. I'll try to keep them down, but this also helps to prevent me from burning out getting trapped in one view. -Most of all, I hope that this story is enjoyable to you, and that you have a great time reading it! -Written by Michael Adams, Cowritten/Edited by Summer Kent

What happens when someone dies? Obviously, they stay dead just kidding they reincarnate, sometimes they get to revisit worlds they have lived before sometimes new, so do good or bad deeds matter? No, it definitely does, chances of being reborn into what your desire increase, or if your bad into what you hate. Each life is supposed to be a learning process for your soul to make amends to fight for what you believe in. Some souls are tainted and they continue to taint themselves and the others around, so too does the opposite happen. Kindred souls are drawn together and they can bring calamity or salvation to their respective worlds. But what does this have to do with the story well, our friend Alexander is reborn into a world of magic but of course that’s not enough to mention him, no the true reason we will follow his story is because much like there are those who claim to remember their past life, he truly does have a head start in his case. Author's Note: Thanks for taking your time to read my first try at writing. English is my first language, so please correct me on anything that sounds wrong. I'll try to write it once a week, sometimes more if I feel like I’m on a roll but please I hope this stays a pleasant experience for us both.
