《first love | m.yoongi》19

the school schedule for today was a special event schedule. we had only an hour the first three periods, but then had the remaining time during our fourth period class until the dismissal bell rang.
during physical ed class, i changed into shorts and a white T in the girls locker room and then headed out to do some sporting events.
i saw one of the very few friendly classmates i had, which was sulli. luckily, i was able to have someone treat me nicely unlike that seoyul girl.
we played many various sporting games for it was part of our cardio, or shall i say our assignment grades. out in the soccer field, the guys played football. and out in the basketball courts, there were other guys playing. in the distance, i saw yoongi and a bunch of other guys playing ball. of course, i couldn't help but watch at how skillful he was when he played.
besides playing the piano, he was talented in playing basketball.
"yah, who do you keep staring at?" sulli asked, slightly out of breath as she nudged my shoulder.
flustered, i looked away quickly and turn my attention to sulli and kept walking around the track.
"no one," i replied as i kept my head down.
sulli gave a small grin, "yah, you know you're a bad liar, right? is it yoongi-ssi?"
"no way!" i said to her shaking my head furiously. sulli smirked.
"ahhhh, so it is yoongi. mm, yeah, he's cute."
i blushed bright red as the both of us started jogging along the track.
"he already likes someone," i said between breaths as we jogged side-by-side. slowly, we came to a stop, already knowing it'd be too much to speak if we went any further.

panting slightly, sulli leans over to stretch.
"maybe it's you. i notice you two have been spending quite the time together," she says.
"you noticed us?"
"oh, come on. do you think im that ignorant?" she laughed slightly.
i couldn't help but laugh along with her as well.
but just in the near distance, sulli and i could hear another group of girls' laughter fill the air. my attention turned to source of the laughs and saw seoyul, standing and laughing. instantly, i felt insecure, like she was already judging me and making fun of me.
sulli must've noticed because at that moment, she put her arm around my shoulder as we continued walking further and further away from them.
"don't let her get to you. you got to be strong soojin-ah," she said to me. i gave her a small smile and thanked her.
"so how are you with your boyfriend?" i asked her.
"he's still the same idiot. but my idiot of course," she chuckled. we left the track arena and sat over at the bleachers just near the basketball courts where yoongi was playing.
i grabbed a cold water bottle and drank up as so did sulli. when i finished, i recaped the bottle and watched the guys play basketball. sulli's boyfriend, taehyung, was also playing in the game with yoongi. one-by-one as they shot hoops, they all did it so swiftly.
on break, taehyung suddenly came over to sulli, climbing over the bars just to sit next to sulli herself.
"having fun?" sulli asked him as he grabbed a small towel to wipe the heavy sweat pouring from his face.
"lots," taehyung replied, panting slightly. "water please," he cutely said to her. sulli handed him her water bottle. he took a long gulp of it and then closed the cap back on.

"oh, right! i completely forgot, are you going to the formal dance next week?" sulli suddenly asked.
"er, probably not," i softly said as tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear.
"why not? you should go," she tried to reason.
"i don't go well with dancing."
"that's okay. taehyung can't dance well either, but we're still going," sulli said. "yah! i so can dance," taehyung whined. sulli shook her head and gave a small laugh.
"it'll be fun!" she said.
"yeah, but just by myself?" i asked softly.
"i mean why not?" sulli asked.
"yeah, you're not the only one who'll go alone," taehyung added in, "yoongi's going alone. so is namjoon and hoseok."
"yoongi's going?" i asked, surprised. taehyung nodded his head vigorously.
"oh, yes! why don't you two go together? it's perfect. you won't have to go alone now," sulli cheered, clapping her hands together.
"what?! no... i can't," i said slightly hiding my face, hoping that yoongi couldn't hear us.
"i mean, i could ask, if he's planning to go with anyone," taehyung said as he drank some more water. "yes, do that. if he's not planning to go with anyone, have him ask soojin," sulli added.
"anything for you," taehyung said cutely to her.
"aigoo, take that somewhere else please," i said dramatically as i scooted away, giving them some space.
"sorry, soojin-ah," sulli laughed softly as she had an arm wrapped around taehyung's waist.
just then, a voice shouted out of nowhere. "yah, taehyung-ah! we're going in for another game! come on!"
my attention looked down at the court to see taehyung's friends, namjoon and hoseok, and yoongi. he had a head band tied under his hair line and around his head. our eyes met and he was the first to give a small smile and wave.
i smiled back shyly as taehyung stood to his feet. "i'll be right there!" he shouted to them. he turned to sulli, planting a quick kiss on her lips, making me look away quickly.
"i'll be back," he told her. and with that, he left down the bleachers and got back into the court continuing another game with the others.
and once more, the two of us were left in the bleachers watching the guys play another round of basketball.
