Ariana woke up because someone was shaking her arm very carefully.
"Ariana? Are you awake." She heard someone whisper.
She slowly openend her eyes and saw she was on the couch with a blanket over her. Next to her was Harry. Her head was laying on his shoulder en when she looked at him he smiled and said: "Good morning."
"Omg I didn't want to sleep!! Noo why didn't you wake me up?" Ariana asked, while she tried to climb out of the couch.
"Well, I assumed you were really tired so I just put a blanket over you and went to sleep myself." Ariana found her phone and checked if she got messages.
And she got a shit ton of messages. She went though all of them, smiling at the sweet reactions on her new album.
Then she saw a message from an unknown number. Ariana clicked on it, to see what it was.

Text message
Hi, this is Mac Miller, I just listened to your album and i wanted to say that I loved it!
I hope this isn't scary lmao
Omg hi!! I love your music! Thank you so much for your text hahahah
Sorry for my late response, I was still asleep, Harry promised he would keep me awake but he told me I needed sleep.
Which I did but
Oh well you get it
oh hahaha
I saw some things that you n Harry are dating
Oh no we're not! We are best friends hahaha
Oh yeah well it were rumours but some people in the industry think you two are dating
Wait really?
That's crazy
Wait, maybe we can hang out some time? I would love to meet you!
Oh yeah I would love that!

"Who's that?" Harry asked Ariana. Ariana looked up and told him it was Mac Miller.

"Oh I like his music!" Ariana enthusiastically nodded her head. "Yess I love his music, and we're going to hang out sometime. By the way, did you know there are people in the industry that think that we're dating?"
Harry looked away. "Really?" Ariana nodded.
"Also," Harry said. "It might be necessary to talk about what happened this night?"
Ariana slowly breathed in. She knew he was right but she had hoped he would forget about it so it wouldn't be awkward.
"Yeah... so?" Ariana's face turned red and she looked around to check if anyone could hear them. Everyone was still asleep but she still wanted to talk somewhere else.
"Let's go to the kitchen, shall we?" Harry nodded and Ariana walked to the kitchen.
She leaned against the kitchen table and waited for the awkward conversation that was about the happen.
Except for it wasn't awkward at all.
"We kissed, but it doesn't have to mean anything, you know, friends also give each other little kisses. I mean, we didn't use tongue.." Harry softly said.
Ariana smiled. "Yeah, it doesn't have to mean anything. So we're good?"
Harry looked confused at her. "Of course, I don't want to loose you again ever.
It wasn't awkward.
It was confusing.
And Ariana didn't know what she felt. Or wanted.

Briars and Thorns
Millenia ago, humanity faced a catastrophe. Some devastating, catastrophic event that even to this day leaves its impact on humankind and the Earth. That’s not where our story takes place though, instead we look to space, where humans have taken up residence among the stars. Living in huge industrial space stations, life is a bore. Dull daily routines are broken only by extravagant fashion, music, and other means of self expression. Also, of course, the lifeblood of the stations- games. Four months ago, humanity was contacted by the first ever known alien life forms. These aliens, calling themselves the Erta offered their designs and schematics for their True Virtual Reality (TVR) console, as well as access to their game in exchange for peace. And humanity, excited at the opportunity to achieve one of their life long dreams (that is, to experience True VR), graciously took them up on their offer. Now, after scientists have finally confirmed the console to be safe for humans, the game is to finally be released to the public. This comes to the joy of most of the population, but a small portion of them can't help but be upset. As thousands of the researchers meant to be developing virtual reality, are fired overnight. Meet Brian Reed, one of these newly unemployed workers. Now, join Brian as he explores the very game that was the death of his job. And watch as he learns that the game is not quite what it seems.

And when the world was gone, he remained. This is his tale. I take 0% credit for the title picture. I just pasted stuff together and did the best I could with a mac touchpad.
