《Canary After Lightning》Bonus: The Flash and Canary are Born

Much to my distaste, Barry and I were investigating another tip made by Iris. "One of these days these tips might get us killed" I stated, watching over the building she said a meta-robber could be hiding in. "And the day that happens, I get-"
"Canary" Oliver came over my link.
"Arrow?" I asked.
"Hold up, are you talking to the Arrow-" I turn off my STAR labs link and listen in for Oliver.
"I need to speak with you" Oliver stated.
"Uh- Can you hold that? I need to handle something" I said, watching as Barry ran into the building. "You can talk while I fight, it's just my boyfriend is probably going to die if I don't jump into action"
I zipped into the building and landed a few feet away from where Barry was fighting the meta, I screamed and the meta went flying. "Okay, so Thea is working with Malcolm Merlyn," Oliver said.
"I'm sorry, WHAT!?" I exclaimed, running over and going hand-to-hand with the meta.
"Yea, her vacation? With Malcolm. He trained her to fight and everything" Oliver said, "She doesn't remember some of her training especially after he gave her some tea, she would wake up with more knowledge on fighting"
"Tea? What kind... of tea" I strained as I dodge a kick from the meta, grabbing the meta's arm and twisting it, her meta powers kicked in and she threw me across the room.
"She doesn't know, she would go to sleep and wake up stronger, sometimes she lost days," He said, "Any ideas?"
"One" I groaned, standing up and watching Barry throw the meta across the room towards me. I let out my scream and she hit the floor, passed out. "Vitura"
"Vitura? What is that?" Oliver asked.

"A drug they used in the League, they used it on me a couple of times. It causes memory loss, as well as makes people highly susceptible to suggestion, it's basically a mind control drug" I said, walking over to Barry who was arresting the meta.
"Jesus" Oliver sighed. "What did the league make you do while you were on it?"
"That's the scary part, I never found out," I said, walking over to the window I came in on. "Just... Next time you see Malcolm, put an arrow in him for me, I can't imagine what he made Thea do"
"Of course, Canary," He said, "Good luck with your meta"
"Oh, we already caught her," I said, getting ready to zip out.
"That's my Canary" I could hear Oliver smile.
"Good luck, Arrow," I said, turning his link off and my STAR labs one on. "Alright meta 9 is caught"
"Okay cool," Cisco said, "But can you please talk about the fact you can talk to Arrow from here?"
"Felicity Smoak magic" I smiled, I turned and saw Barry was ready to run off. "Please stop running headfirst into danger, it's getting tiring"
"Sorry," He said sheepishly. "Need a ride back?"
"Nah, birds can fly" I smiled, hitting my zip and 'flying' off.
"Punny"
~
Barry wanted to thank Iris for the tip, so I was watching from the top of the roof. "Thank you, the meta was safely apprehended," Barry said, walking around the railing of the roof.
"That's great" Iris smiled.
"My partner and I are grateful for your help," Barry said, looking up at me. Iris stopped and looked up.
"Why do you hide in the shadows?" She asked. I stood up and 'walked' off the roof towards her, Barry ran around, picking me up and putting me on the railing.

"She doesn't like to talk much," Barry said.
"Understandable" Iris said. I leaned forward, looking over the street below.
"The streak sounds... odd" Barry sighed. Oh, terrific, he's going to rename himself.
"Well, do you have any suggestions?" Iris asked.
"Anything but the Streak," Barry said.
"What about you, do you want the name Canary?" Iris asked.
"I will always be the Canary," I said, standing up as a line of police came chasing after a car. I hit my zip and took off. Barry not too far behind. "We're gonna have to discuss these rendezvous when we get home"
"Crap"
~
I read the article and looked at Barry was training on the treadmill. "Is he in the doghouse for the rendezvous?" Caitlin asked.
"No," I said, closing my laptop, "Can't say what Arrow will do when he finds out I let this happen though"
"Okay, Barr, I think we're good for the day," Cisco said, slowing down the treadmill.
Barry ran in and sat next to me, "Date?" He asks.
"Nope," I said, putting my laptop in my bag.
"What? Why?" Barry asked.
"I'm too tired from the rendezvous," I said, standing up and heading for the elevator.
"Babe? Babe" He ran after me, "Come on, we can get some Big Belly Burger and drive up to the lookout"
"Sorry, Barr, but I am just too tired to do anything," I said, "I'm going home and going to sleep immediately"
Barry was clearly shocked, I had usually been able to keep up with him at all times. But tonight, while he wasn't in the doghouse, he was going to learn his lesson.
~
I was reading a book in bed when Barry came in, "Hey, I thought you were going to sleep?" he asked.
I bookmarked my book and looked at him, "Oliver found the blog"
"Shit..."

That's when a portal appeared in front of him with a message: the dimension on the other side was in danger and requested his help. However, inter-dimensional travel came with its own rules. Excited at the prospect of having found a worthy opponent, he stepped into the portal. On the other side, he found a medieval world controlled by a mysterious system. Holographic panels appeared at a mere thought, defining each living being in numbers, determining their classes, and changing their very selves. Witness Aaron's conquest of a world full of conflict, wild beasts, and magical items.

He has rolled randomly, as only a fool would do, and finds himself playing a Kobold magus who wields the power of life itself. Hopefully, his role-playing is entertaining enough to generate revenue, because the game is changing his real self... or else, his real self is changing the human-shaped shell he used to wear.
