KILLER FROST
Downtown Beacon Hills
"So what's the plan?" I ask as we walk into a neighborhood in the city of Beacon Hills. I follow Daniel as he looks around the buildings reading the numbers of the buildings to himself as I'm sure he's finding a place for us to hit. He's smart if he knows exactly where to go, makes this job a lot easier.
"Just follow along Frosty." Daniel says as he walks up the stair steps to a town home. He presses the buzzer and I wait behind him as he begins to rub a ball of cologne on his wrist.
The door to the house opens up and a woman answers being irritated by us. "Can I help you?" She asks being bothered by us and Daniel quickly waves his wrist over the woman's face. She breathes in and sighs deeply being mesmerized or something and I watch closely to see what Daniel is really capable of. "God." She exhales out softly. "You're so beautiful." She stares at Daniel as she is completely amused by him, willing to do anything for him.
"Thanks." Daniel says comfortably. "Now, move." The woman moves out of our way and we walk directly inside her home. As we walk in, Daniel walks in front walking directly to the dining area where we spot a family dinner happening. I hear kids talk and chatter, with what sounds an older man with them.
As we walk through the house, I realize that this is a wealthy man's home. There is definitely some valuables in here. "Nice Score." I say impressed by Daniel as I stare at what looks like to be some antiques and very expensive art pieces.
"Cindy, who are these two?" The older man asks as he watches us two enter their dining room. Daniel quickly walks towards the man, waving his hand over the man's face along with the kids.

"Oh my." The young man says being mesmerized by Daniel. "What a charming young man."
"He's so beautiful, mom." The teenage girl says amused.
"And so cool." The other young boy says shocked.
"So your perfume turns people into your superfans?" I ask confused as I'm impressed, but not that impressed by him. I was expecting something much bigger. I can create ice out of nowhere, while Daniel can just make people love him. I think I win.
"Like all good things, it'll fade." Daniel stares at the old man. "But until then, they're mine." Daniel then looks at me with a charming smile and I become unamused, wanting to get any valuables and go. "Freeze." Daniel commands, and his minions do as he says immediately.
I question whether it works or not, and look at the older lady seeing the beautiful set of pearls. I quickly snatch it from her neck and nobody budges neither makes a move to stop me. I chuckle lightly now being impressed by him.
"Not bad. I'll give you that one plant boy." I respond shocked and highly amused now.
Daniel gets to business with this man and lays himself on the man's shoulders. "My icy friend thinks we're here to rob you. But I know who you work for, Roland Charles, PHD. How you torture plants in the name of science." Daniel says speaking into his ear and then spots a brief case by the window and gravitates towards it. He grabs the brief case opening it immediately, and blocks my view from seeing what is inside of it.
"Do you ever wonder how those plants feel?" Daniel closes the case and then walks towards the Roland man angrily. "Soon, you'll share more with them than you ever could've imagined." Daniel lays his hands on the man's face and digs his nail slicing the man's skin open and infecting him immediately.

The man begins to choke and shake violently. "What are you doing to him!?" I shout loudly as I feel parts of Chris and I combine together to shout. Daniel turns around being serious about this and looks at me confused.
"I gave him what he deserved." Daniel responds back as he walks away from the choking man, as he turns completely green. A plant begins to rise out of his mouth, and Daniel grabs on to me dragging me out of the situation.

Roland Charles' Home
"Victim is Roland Charles, he was in Biotech." My partner Rook informs me on the crime scene that I was called into tonight here in Beacon Hills. It looks like a lead from the last crime scene with what appears to be the same creature's attack move.
Except this was more violent. The last attack, it was hidden in the body. This flourished outside of his body. "Poison Ivy... Yet again." I say shocked and disturbed by seeing a dead green man with branches of poison ivy growing out of his face.
"The toxin entered the bloodstream through the cuts on the neck." Rook tells me as I cover the disturbing body with a white sheet. "If it is the same as the last victim, the toxin creates vines that feed off the victim's body, while also attacking the hippocampus like some plant-based psychedelics."
"So it kills you and makes you hallucinate?" I clear Rook's words up as he doesn't dumb it down for me. "Any witnesses?" I ask Rook as I search around the home for any traces of anything.
"The family is saying that it was two men. A redhead and a white blonde." Rook tells me and I turn towards him thinking about the only white blonde I know, Killer Frost. But this isn't his signature, and Chris has him under control. "The redhead used some kind of hypnosis on them and the white blonde just stood there and did nothing. They said he had a distorted voice." The description begins to match more to Killer Frost but I don't understand it. Murder isn't his thing.
"They said that the redhead killed Roland, and then left with the brief case." Rook tells me more information and details. I begin to get worried that maybe my instinct about Killer Frost is true and I deny it as much as I can. I don't believe for one second that Killer Frost is out there once more.
"Well if this briefcase is missing, maybe this is related to his work." I tell him as I have a lead. Which means it's time to investigate and find out what the hell was in that brief case.

The Long and Exciting Life of Kreet the Kobold (Life 2)
Kreet was originally a D&D character. Life 1 was essentially her backstory. Life 2 picks up just after the events of the D&D campaign in the Underdark. At first you won't recognize the characters, but bear with it for a couple chapters and the few important points will be revealed. Also I stole a player's character (with his permission!) in the form of Sigmundurr. Also, unlike Life 1, I'll be posting this slowly over time. Right now I'm writing around chapter 20 and I suspect I'm only halfway. Tone may be a little different. ( Cover art by KuroNeko I'm pretty sure!)

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
