Sheriff Station
I sit in Dad's office looking out the window making sure we're clear as the building is almost empty. Dad is busy on a case that's leading him to Chris, and I can't let him risk his life like this. I need to find out where Chris is before Dad gets to him or until Chris finds Dad. Either one isn't an option.
Lydia and Daniel go through the sheriff's databases looking for information on a Laurel Lance. The database loads to find out information on her and I can't help to think that as time moves, Chris is still out there.
"I found something." Lydia says and I get alerted and quickly turn my head towards her. Lydia sits in Dad's desk starring at the screen and then stares at me worried. Daniel stands next to her and shakes his head as he stares down at the screen as well. "Come look at this." Lydia commands me and I walk towards her and stand behind her and stare at a quicktime player file.
Lydia moves her cursor on to the play button and presses it. The footage begins with what looks like Laurel Lance moving around a bar and then sitting next to a black suit man as she wears a very skin revealing short tight black dress. She begins talking to him and getting very touchy and flirty with the man. Suddenly the clip cuts into footage of what looks like Laurel and the guy outside in an alleyway making out.
She grabs his hand and looks at it as she spots a ring on the man's hand. She chuckles and the guy does too. She says something but the audio doesn't work but from what I can read from her lips it sounds like she's saying 'I have a secret too... Wanna hear?' Suddenly she screams and as she does the man flies back against a wall. She continues to scream in anger and as she does sound waves are being produced by it like Lydia's.

"She just-" Daniel freaks out a little scared and backs up. The man bleeds out of his ears and lays on the floor with his spine probably shattered. Laurel stops screaming and then looks at the CCTV camera and screams and it stops.
"We need to call Scott." I say and quickly walk to my phone. I pick it up but see a notification of the Vet Clinic alarm being triggered. I open my phone but as I do I hear a loud ringing in my ears. I look behind me and see sound waves hitting me.
"." I get thrown across the room as the windows in Dad's office shatters. I hear gunshots and the same scream. "." My ears ring and I look up to see Dad's office in chaos. I spot Daniel and Lydia on the floor and Daniel struggles to get up but does so fast. He quickly runs to me and picks me up and I try to regain myself.
"Hurry up! She's here!" Daniel yells but it's muffled in my hearing. Daniels tries to carry me to drag me out but I don't budge as things don't seem to make sense.
I look around and see the entire station in chaos as lights flicker and the sheriffs are taken down. I then see Laurel grabbing on to a man as he aims the gun at her and she quickly dashes to him and grabs the gun from him and knees him in the face. She then looks at me and it clicks in my head of what's happening.
My hearing comes back and I can hear everything. I quickly look behind me to see Lydia knocked out as she won't be protecting us now. I then look back at Laurel and she begins to walk.

"It's about time somebody figured it out." Laurel says arrogantly and looks at me with a small evil smirk. "You know I was really getting sick and tired of playing along with you idiots. Turns out, you're all smarter than I thought..." She says and Lydia begins to get up slowly from the ground. "Especially you." She says starring at me and I hold Daniel back from doing anything stupid.
"Who are you?" I ask wanting to know Incase we all survive this.
"You can call me ." She says and chuckles. "Killer Frost warned me about you three. Too bad you won't live long enough to see us rule." She says and takes in a breath but as she does a huge blast of fire throws Black Siren to the ground.
She quickly gets up and I look to see Parrish in his Hellhound form. He growls as he's completely on fire and Black Siren takes a deep breath for a scream. "." She screams loud enough that it begins to shatter everything and we all cover our ears.
"Lykos has so many plans for all of you..." She says and laughs. She quickly runs off and Parrish doesn't bother to chase after her. Going after her would lead us to Chris, but that's not the worry anymore.
"You alright?" Parrish asks us as he walks through the debris and chaos of the station. Daniel and I both get up from the floor and Parrish helps Lydia up from the floor.
Lydia freezes and close her eyes as she touches her head. "." She says and then looks at me shocked. "We need to go now!" She says and walks out fast and we all follow her from behind trying to catch up.

Ashes of Heaven
Han Xuhan, our protagonist, is an ordinary mortal orphan who sets out on a journey to become immortal by joining a sect. Turns out he might not be our protagonist. Aaaand, his journey might have been fabricated. Also, it seems like he isn't really an ordinary mortal. Oh, who am I kidding? It's obvious at this point. That entire first sentence was a lie. Let us pretend that sentence doesn't exist there. Sadly, he hasn't exactly been informed of that fact. So we get to watch him trudge on his path as a cultivator. How long will he survive in a xianxia world by relying only on his dao of meta? Oh? Does that plot feel predictable? Fine! Let us pretend the dao of meta doesn't exist either; such a simple solution to a simple problem, unlike the issues Han Xuhan shall face from the get-go. Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!

A Cleric's Life for me.
This is a casually written story loosely based on TTRPG games like DnD and Pathfinder. The attempt of the story is to have a slow growth in power and comical set of characters who eventually grow close and set off for more serious adventures. There will be plenty of familiars and funny tales that don't involve combat. The intention is not to be a goody-two-shoes cleric story where nothing bad happens. The intention for this story was a slow paced grungy story where everything seemed great at first and things just kept getting worse. I learned how shitty of a story that is to write and honestly I am just not good enough to get the idea down. I plan on revisiting it later.

We Only Come Out At Night
Cassandra, your typical young woman (paranoid, socially anxious, and here to party (during the day of course)), is a whole new kind of person to the Lost Boys. Finally someone new to reel in! Hope she digs blood, because it'd be a shame if she didn't. Lost Boys x OC M - content later? Perhaps?Revised until Ch. 11
