Beacon Hills High

I wait for Stiles in the library as my heart races. I look at everyone school seeing how warm they are. It's Autumn god damn it! And I'm wearing a light grey Nike sweater while everyone is walking in T-shirts and jeans.

"Hey." Stiles speaks up as he breaks me out of my thoughts. "Are you okay?" He asks me seeing something different about me. He noticed.

"What?" I ask him as he sits down next to me.

"The blast last night. It made everyone more..." He says not finishing sentence. "."

"What do you mean?"

"Lydia can see the future... Clearly too. Scott can run faster than ever. Kira has controlled herself a little bit better. Malia can shift into a coyote again." He says as he continues on about everyone getting stronger.

"What about you?" I ask him to see if anything happened to him.

"I didn't get affected. You?"

"No." I lie to him as I pretend to figure out what might've happened and he nods. "Maybe it didn't have any effect on us two."

"You're right." He says and I smile at him. "Sorry I fell asleep on you, by the way." He tells me as he smiles.

"It's okay." I respond and then he gets a text from Scott.

"Hey I'll see you later okay, Scott needs help with something-" He says as he grabs his bag. "." He says kissing me in the cheek.

"Stiles school didn't start yet." I tell him and he walks off being the hero he has always been. I smile at him and then stop as he is gone and everyone around me is gone. I take my hands out from under the table as I was hiding it and I look at the cold air coming off my hand.

Derek's Loft

"I'm surprised he still even has this place." I say as I walk up the stairs to Derek's place with Scott ahead of me.

"I thought he left Beacon Hills forever." He says sighing getting tired. "So Chris is alright?"

"Yeah. He's somewhat still traumatized from what Theo did to him." I say mentioning the time Theo kidnapped Chris and kept him for days attempting to brainwash him. "Theo fooled with his mind." I say knowing that Theo made Chris fall in love with him to use him against us. .

"Here we are." Scott says and we finally reach his loft. Scott raises his arms in front of me stopping as he must be hearing something. Scott knocks on the door and the door opens up shortly.

"Come in." Derek growls as always and I missed my grouchy wolf. He doesn't look so surprised to see us but we both walk in.

"Where have you been?" I ask him and he closes the door and Scott and I spot a guy sitting on a chair all tied up.

"It doesn't matter." Derek ignores my question and then sighs heavy. "You guys know anything about Metahumans?"

"No." Scott answers straight up. "Why?" Scott asks softly and I've heard of this before. Not the exact term but I've heard it in the mythological stories that Chris told me about.

"Because this guy right here is hunting them." Derek says and punches the guy in the face. The man's face is all bruised up and covered in so much blood that you can't even tell who he used to be. The guy spits out the blood into the floor and starts chuckling.

"If you think that you could stop us from killing these metas you must be stupid!" The guy yells and I raise an eyebrow.

"Us?" I ask him knowing there could be more. "And what do you want with the Meta Humans?!"

"This earth was made for Humans, we're not going to let some stronger species become more powerful than us and take over the human race!" The man says acting like a white supremacist but for these metahumans.

"Who are you hunting down?" Scott asks angrily and stares at the guy as his eyes glow.

"My boss is going to kill you." The man says and Derek punches him knocking the guy out.

"I had enough." Derek speaks up and sighs as he wipes the blood off his fist on a black towel. "He dropped a thumb drive and I think it might lead to something." Derek asks as he hands me the black glossy thumb drive and drops it into my hands.

"Well good thing I brought my computer." I say taking my bag off my back. I take my computer out and plug in the drive only to find a tab with the name . to pop up.

It then loads and names drop down. . "Are we on the list?" Scott asks and I type his name in the search bar but nothing comes up.

"No." I say and exit out of the search and organize the files by locations. Beacon Hills. I click on the tab to see about a 100 names list themselves down and I spy someone's name that looks familiar. Claire Selton.

"Chris' friend." I gasp and slap my computer shut. "Chris and Claire are hanging out after school!" I yell at Scott and I quickly run.
