Iris and Nora have been gradually sucking up to Barry. Their plan hasn't worked yet so the decided to go up to phase 2 of their plan. "Hey babe" Iris said to Barry

"Yeah" Barry said

"We haven't been on a date in a while, we should go on one" Iris said

"Today?" Barry asked

"Yeah It'll be fun plus Cicada hasn't show up recently, crime in general has been low and if they need us we are just one call away" Iris said

"Okay sure why not. When do you want to do it?" Barry said

"How bout tomorrow?" Iris thinks

"Sure" Barry says

"Hey mum, hey dad" Nora says walking down the stairs. "What's going on?"

"Nothing much but your father and I are going on a date tomorrow" Iris says smiling but Barry feels a little bit sad for some reason and is reluctant to go.

"Really?" Nora says and Barry nods with a small smile.

"I'll organise everything" Iris says with a smile and Barry nods

"Okay" Barry says "I might have to work late today there is some stuff I have to do at CCPD"

"Okay" Iris and Nora says and Barry was about to leave when Nora looked at him.

"Hey dad, can I come with you? I am a intern after all" Nora says fiddling her thumbs waiting for an answer"

"Sure" Barry says not with much enthusiasm "Let's go" Barry and Nora Speed away to CCPD.

"Hey Joe" Barry says and Nora waves

"Hi guys" Joe says happily

"How's Jenna and Cecil?" Barry asks

"There doing good but Jenna is keeping me up all night" Joe says

"You should get some rest if you need someone to look after Jenna you can always drop her at our place" Barry offers

"Thanks bare but you go your own problems" Joe says and Barry is about to object when

"Hey Allen" Singh calls "have you gotten to work on the Olaf case?"

"On it captain" Barry says and Nods. Nora and Barry head up to the lab and work together on the case to work together, they share some laughs and talk about science.

"So in the future you accidentally blew up your lab" Barry said and Nora laughed "Well, I guess you really are my daughter" They finished the reports that needed to be done and went home.

"Hey guys, how was work" Iris asks

"It was good" Nora said "But I got to say working makes a speedster hungry" and Barry agreed

"Everything makes a speedster hungry, I made some tacos, I'll bring the food" Iris said putting down place mates and bring all the toppings and filling.

"And 27" Barry said

"Ok so that's 27 for you, 24 for Nora and 3 for me" Iris said looking at her daughter and husband

"Well speedsters be speedsters" Nora said

"I'm still a bit hungry" Barry said touching his stomach

"Mee too" Nora said

"What? How?" Iris asks

"Ice-cream?" Barry asks ignoring Iris' comment

"Ice-cream sounds good" Barry then speeds back with two medium buckets and throws one to Nora

"Thanks dad" Nora says and get a spoon for both of them

"Can I get one?" Iris says

"What flavour?" Barry asks

"You should know" Iris says

"But it changes" Barry says but he really forgot

"True" Iris says "I'll have strawberry" Barry then speeds out and comes back with a small strawberry ice-cream for Iris. "Thanks babe" she says to him

"No problem" Barry say back to Iris and sits on the couch next to Nora. They decide to put on a movie. Barry then reminded himself how he had a similar night with Dawn and Caitlin. They put on Murder Mystery and they were all laughing and talking. Iris was talking about friends and about Jennifer Aniston.

They all went to sleep after the movie finished and Barry didn't fell as happy as he usually would. Something about the date felt off. Barry just shrugged it off and thought he just had a off day.

The next morning Barry woke up to a fully prepared breakfast by Nora and Iris.

"Hey dad" Nora said

"Hey, food smells great" he complimented

"Thank you" Nora said "oh Mum just went out to get some groceries" and Barry nodded

Iris came back. Few minuets later and saw Barry and. Ora sitting on the couch watching the news and eating breakfast. "Hey" she said

"Hey" both Nora and Barry said at the same time

"That smells great, I wish I could stay but I've got to go to work" Iris says and puts her things down.

Barry then gets up and walks over to Iris "so we still on for today"

"Yeah" she said " meet me at the lotus at 6"

"yes mam" Barry said fake saluting and Iris just smiles at her husband. " I'll see you both later" she says

"Bye" Nora says

"Bye" Iris said a headed out the door as she was running late to work.

Nora and Barry were both having some fun spending time with each other until Barry had to go on his date with Iris. Iris took Barry to a Chinese restaurant and they talked about Nora and work. Barry had fun but something about this date still felt wrong. Iris then suggested that they walk round for a little while since they don't get much alone time together.

"This is nice" Iris said holding Barry's hand

"Yeah it is" He said with a smile

"We should do this more" Iris said

"Well we don't really have the time too now we have a daughter and Star Labs and work" Barry said

"Yeah but we still have to make room for us as well" Iris said and hugged Barry's arm and he kissed her temple. They walked for a little while longer when they reached the loft. They saw Nora asleep on the couch in front of the tv where the movie was still playing. Barry and Iris smiled at each other and put a blanket over her. Then they went up into their bedroom.

"Hey do you mind helping me with my dress" Iris said and Barry helped her unzip her dress. He saw her lingerie. Iris smirked seeing the reaction on her husbands face.

Iris then started kissing him and in between kisses Barry asked "What is Nora wakes up?"

"She won't" Iris said and they continued to kiss until Barry's phone rang.

"I need to get that" Barry said

"Can't you do it later" Iris said

"What if it's important?" Barry said pushing Iris away a little bit. She then sighed in defeat and Barry went to go pick up the phone. While Barry was on the phone with Cisco Barry nodded and said. "Yeah, I'll go now." Iris knows that he has to go somewhere and is upset that their night was ruined. Barry then looked at Iris apologetically.

"I get it go" Iris said and he sped away. Barry was at 16th and Albert and saw a meta wreaking havoc. He had laser shooting out of his eyes like Kara.

"Cisco this guy is out of control he shooting lasers everywhere" Barry said

"Just try to speed around them and place the cuffs on" Cisco said. Barry then ran dodging all the laser that were coming from the guy. Barry got there and cuffed the man who let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank you Flash, I don't know what happened, I never wanted to hurt anyone" The man said and Barry could tell he was being sincere.

"That's ok, I'm going to take you back to CCPD" Barry said and the person nodded. Barry ran to CCPD and the man explained everything to the officers there. Barry sped back to the loft and saw Iris sitting in the edge of their bed looking sad. "Hey" Barry said to get her attention.

"Hey" She said disheartened

"What's wrong?" He asks sitting next to her

"It's nothing" She said

"It's clearly not nothing" Barry said "You know you can tell me anything"

"Yeah, it's just really selfish" Iris said

"It doesn't matter," Barry said "What's wrong?"

"I feel like I don't spend enough time with you and that could be the downfall of our marriage and of our family. The fact that Dawn isn't my daughter but she is your shows that this doesn't work out and that scares me. I love you and I don't want to lose you" she says

"I know it's hard that we may not be a family but it is something we are both going to have to live with. The future is what the future is, and I promise no matter what happens I will always love you and you will always be in my life" Barry said and she nodded. Barry hated the thought of Iris feeling sad about their family falling apart.

"Thank you" she said "I'm gonna get changed and go to bed" and she flashed a smile towards Barry and got changed into some pajamas
