"What? Why?" Caitlin cut in.
"I'm happy here, I have my friends, a semi-normal life!"
"But it isn't real... it's just your memories," Barry said.
"It's real enough for me." The bedroom door swung open violently and Ice walked in. She ice blasted Caitlin and Barry. They were thrown into the wall. Caitlin's hair and eyes went white and Killer Frost showed up. She created a barrier between them and Carry and Ice.
"Get us out of here Flash," Killer Frost said. It only took a moment for them to rush out of the memory. The ice wall disintegrated and they were all alone.
"I've missed a bit, who the heck was that?" Killer Frost said.
"Carry's evil twin," Barry said.
"Her Kione... My daughter?"
"Yeah." They were in another room. The walls were dark purple and the furniture was dark brown wood. Posters lined the walls, including a flash poster. Teenage Nora held Carry's sculpture. She sat on the floor next to her bed.
"Nora!" Carry shouted, she burst through the door. Nora quickly stuffed the ice sculpture underneath the bed. "Where is it?" Carry struggled to keep Ice down, her eyes flashed blue.
"Where is what?" Nora stayed sitting in front of her bed.
"My sculpture that Ice gave to me! I know you took it," Carry said.
"I didn't take your dumb sculpture!"
"It's isn't dumb!" Her eyes turned blue right when Iris walked in.
"Carry... take a breath," Iris said, cautiously standing back. She took a deep breath and Carry's eyes became brown again. "What is going on?"
"Nora took my sculpture!" Carry whined.
"Maybe it melted," Nora remarked under her breath.
"It doesn't melt. If it did, you would have a giant puddle on your carpet because you have it!"
"Girls." Iris stood between them, " Nora, give it back."
"But-"
"Now."
"Fine..." Nora reached underneath her bed and pulled out the small snowflake sculpture. She handed it to Carry. Carry ran out of the room and so did Barry and Killer Frost.
When Barry took them to another memory, Caitlin returned. "Why can't we leave?" She asked.
"I think we're stuck in Carry's mind..." Barry looked around, they were back in Carry's light purple room.

All alone in an unfamiliar world, yet surrounded by family she barely knows, what can she do to make this new life meaningful? This story is a companion story to "Rising World", which currently exists in full on Amazon and has a visible preview here on RR. Many thanks to the readers who saw it while it was being written.
