《Future untold》Memories

Caitlin and Barry awake in a very nice house. A toddler screamed in the next room and they carefully followed the sound. Luckily they are invisible to the memories.

Caitlin saw herself playing with a young girl on the floor of a kid's room. The walls were light purple and the bedding and curtains matched nicely.

"Is that Carry?" Caitlin whispered as if someone could hear her.

"I think so," Barry said. Carry giggled loudly as her mom began to tickle her. "That isn't her conscious, she must be in another memory." Barry ran with Caitlin to another memory.

Right after they left, Carry's alter, Ice walked in. She had ocean blue hair and blue lips. She wore a dark blue long-sleeve shirt with a hood and black jeans. Ice knew Barry and Caitlin were there and went to follow them.

Barry and Caitlin arrived in another memory. Carry laid under the covers and Caitlin was sitting on the edge of the bed. She bent over and kissed the little girl on the forehead.

"Goodnight honey," She said. Caitlin left the room and little Carry snuggled underneath the covers with a flashlight, reading a book. After a few moments, Iris and Caitlin's voices could be heard clearly through the cracked door.

"I have to do this, Iris," Caitlin said.

"I know, but what will Carry and Ice do without their moms?"

"I won't be gone long, but I have to know Barry and the others are okay, it's been years and now that Carry and Ice are old enough..." Carry sat up in her bed and clicked the flashlight off, she couldn't believe her ears.

"She isn't here either," Barry said before moving to another memory. They arrived in a different house. The small bedroom where Carry laid was identical to the last one, except for this one was longer. Boxes covered the floor and the shelves were empty.

"Thank you for this," Caitlin said tearfully to Iris, right outside the door. She came in the room and pulled Carry into her arms.

"You can't leave mom." Carry's voice was muffled by Caitlin's shirt.

"I have to, your father needs me," Caitlin told her. "I'll be back before you know it, and then all of us will be together again." A single tear escaped her eyes as she held her only daughter.

"Ple-please don't g-go," Carry sobbed.

"I love you so much." Caitlin kissed her forehead and pulled away.

"I love yo-you t-too," Carry said. Caitlin wiped Carry's tears away and held her head.

"You and Ice be good for Iris." Caitlin stood up and slowly walked out of the room, leaving little Carry alone in her new home.

"No... I left her! How could I possibly do that?"

"You won't know until it happens Caitlin, don't dwell on this," Barry assured her. They moved on to another memory.

They were still in the same room, except all the boxes were gone and the shelves were full of books and trophies. On the nightstand next to Carry's bed was a sculpture of a snowflake.

Carry ran in and stopped in her place when she saw the beautiful ice sculpture. She was much older now, probably around twelve.

"Did you make this Ice?" Carry smiled brightly, picking it up. "It's beautiful... I didn't know you could do this," She said. Carry turned it over in her hands, admiring the ice.

"Carry! Nora!" Iris shouted from outside room. Carry set the sculpture back and turned around. She stopped when she noticed Caitlin and Barry.

"Umm... You're not supposed to be here," Carry said.

"You're Carry's conscious." Caitlin looked relieved. Carry nodded, still confused on how they could be in her mind.

"Carry, your in a coma, we've come to wake you up," Barry explained. "You need to come with us."

"No," Carry said bluntly.
