"Oh don't worry about it, we can stay in the lounge." Nora smiled after Barry asked them to stay awhile.
"What lounge?" Cisco had no idea, in the five years that he'd been practically living at star labs, that there was a lounge. The other members of team flash also looked confused as Nora led the way to the star labs lounge.
"This lounge." Nora said as Carry flicked on the lights to find Joe, napping on the couch.
"Damn," Joe loved his peace and quiet in the space that only he seemed to know about.
"Dad!" Iris laughed.
"You found my spot," Joe sighed sadly. Barry laughed silently.
"You knew about this?"
"I've been napping in here since day one," Joe still sat on the couch, half asleep.
"Uh well Nora and Carry were... going to stay here, if that's alright with you?" Barry struggled not to laugh as he spoke.
"Okay, well now I can get to know my, granddaughter." Nora went over and sat next to her papa Joe and he kissed her on the forehead as she giggled.
Nora sat on the couch with Wally and Joe, chatting away like she hadn't lied at all. Carry decided to go find her mom. She went down to the main room, hoping Caitlin hadn't gone home already. She remembered how fun it was to sit in her mom's lap while she talked Cisco through a tough run. Even after Barry disappeared, Caitlin and Cisco continued to believe that he'd come back.
Carry didn't hear Caitlin approach as she traced the keys on the main console. "Celebrations were never my thing either." Carry jumped, she'd gotten completely lost in thought. Caitlin walked past Carry and tapped keys on the console.

"I didn't know you were still here, I thought you left already."
"Nope, I pretty much live here,"
"I actually wanted to talk to you about something," Carry was nervous, she didn't know how to tell Caitlin what happened without damaging the timeline again.
"Sure, what is it?" Caitlin stopped typing and looked up, Carry pulled up a chair and sat down.
"Have you heard of the Delay theory?" She had to start somewhere.
"Yes of course, the theory that if someone traveled to the time period where the timeline was changed, then they couldn't be erased for a period of time. This gives them time to fix what mistake they made." Caitlin had read Well's article about it multiple times.
"Well the mistake that we- Nora made, erased me from existence," Carry chose her words carefully.
"And the only reason you're not erased is because you're in the past." Caitlin slowly put the pieces together. "I don't understand, how could helping destroy the satellite erase you?"
"I don't know, that's why I need your help, if we can figure out what happens, then we can stop it." Carry and Caitlin were the perfect mother-daughter duo.

8 236I Have Even Read the Rulebook!
As all stories begin, Prof died. Yes, truck-kun had something to do with that, but also a bird, a cat and some rebar. When he was presented with with the opportunity in the Afterlife Administration Bureau to be transmigrated into a game-like fantasy world, he did something, no one ever did: he read the Rulebook. Follow Prof on his road to be rich without working, touring a whole new world without a care and witness his realisation, that despite having read the Rulebook the folks living with the System for untold millennia know more about the rules. Important notes: 1, I'm not a native speaker, so be prepared for occassional typos, iffy grammar and maybe awkward sentences. The spell check was running, when I wrote the chapters, but it works in strange ways... If you point out mistakes, I will try to correct them 2, Scheduling will be two chapters a week, posted Saturdays before noon (CET). Depending on how much new chapters I can write consistently there will be probably more but as long as I have leftover chapters, the two per week will be posted no matter what. Chapters will be around 1500-2500 words as MS Word counts it. 3, I did not and will not post this novel on another site, if you find it somewhere else, please inform me 4, The Main Character's progression is slow, there will be no Levels, Skills, Abilities, Feats, Perks and Cheat Powers raining down on him 5, I've put Comedy as a genre because of my writing style not because the novel is a comedy per se. On the other hand, Traumatising Content is there because there is a lot of speciesism - those Elves are not nice people. 6, I put a lot of pop-cultural references into the chapters, try to find them! Enjoy!

And who actually saves his cousin's number with a short 'coz' in their phone and sends the contact like this to someone else?!Then Felix smirked. This was actually a good opportunity for a prank. Especially that Marinette wasn't giving him any chance for it at school - all the while expecting some trick from him and lashing out at him for every little step he took.
