Forgive me for being so inactive..was going through a MAJOR WRITER'S BLOCK

The sun was about to set and the sky was in a beautiful shades of orange and pink hues. Sonakshi was in the guest room, making diet plans for her patients. That's when Manik entered and gave her a nudge on her shoulder and took her into a back hug. Sonakshi stiffened at the sudden touch, but relaxed when she realised who it was.

"Manners Mr.Malhotra! You knock when you enter someone's room!" Sonakshi chided. "You aren't just 'someone' , are you?" Manik teased back. "I'm in the middle of some work. If you're here to fool around then go back." Sonakshi replied.

"I came to tell you that there's a meteor shower tonight." Manik said. Sonakshi smiled sheepishly at the memory of the meteor shower.

"It won't be overcast this time, will it?" She asked. Manik's eyes shone, "You remember?" He asked. "Ofcourse!" She replied.

That night.Where it all began. When they were both introduced to the 'spark' between them, inspite of being so different. Where Sonakshi was amazed by the layers Manik had as a person, and where Manik had found someone who would keenly listen to his passion- about the stars, space and everything that lit up his face- and that night, Sonakshi became one of them.

Both of them came out of their reverie as Sonakshi's phone chimed. Manik spoke, "I can only hope that it won't be overcast. Any which ways, it's still going to be beautiful and romantic. See you upstairs!" Manik winked, and left.
