For more than half of the movie, Sonakshi was holding onto Manik like a baby, and Manik was enjoying every bit of it! It was fun to see this timid side of the otherwise savage and confident Sonakshi. After the movie ended, Sonakshi still needed some time to come back to reality. They came out of the cinema, Manik's teasing session refusing to stop. "Aaj raat ko so paogi na? Ya fir company chahiye?" They were heading towards Manik's car when a voice made Sonakshi stop in her tracks.

"Dr.Bose!" someone called from behind her. Sonakshi turned to find a man in his late twenties, dressed in formals, approaching her. She immediately recognised him, "Mr.Dixit! It's been so long!" She said as he side hugged her. "Yes it has! So how are you?" "Well fit and fine! You tell me?" "Well following your diet, the result is in front of you!" "Not bad Mr.Dixit!" Sonakshi remarked.

Manik stood there feeling left out, and hence cleared his throat to grab their attention. Sonakshi then said, "Oh Manik, this is Mr.Dixit, a good friend and my patient...and Mr.Dixit, this is Manik Malhotra...well...a friend!" 'a friend? After all this while just a friend?' Manik thought to himself, angry, but somehow managed to mask his emotions and he greeted Dev. "So since when do you know Sona?" Manik asked him, his indifference reflecting in his voice. "Well I know Dr.Bose-" Sonakshi cut him off, "It's Sonakshi for you!" Dev smiled and said, "Well yeah...so I know Sonakshi since like 3 years!" "Oh..." Manik said. Dev then turned towards Sonakshi and said, "You by the way, you'll be happy to know... I'm finally able to take out time for my hobby-painting- and my work is being featured in the exhibition this weekend,near the river so it'd be great if you come too! And Manik, I'd like if you accompany her." 'Ofcourse I will, leaving my Sona alone with you..do I look crazy?' Manik thought to himself. Sonakshi replied, "Sure! But the exhibition is near the river? Which means the abandoned site? How did they allow..?" "Uh well the exhibition is about potraits of half built buildings and landscapes of ruins, the theme is basically 'incompletely complete'! And they wanted to make some money from that place, so..." Dev replied. He then added, "Well so I'll see you both, I should get going on, bye Sonakshi!" Sonakshi smiled and bid him a goodbye.

She turned to Manik, who was looking at her questioningly. He then stormed off angrily towards his car, to be followed by a perturbed Sonakshi.

She entered the car behind him and asked, "What is it?" Manik ignored her. She spoke, louder this time, "Manik what is it?" "Friend? I'm just a friend? And that Dev is a 'good' friend? And I'm just a friend?" Manik replied, almost yelling at her.

"Oh, so ye sab woh stupid introduction ke wajah se hai?" She asked, now no longer in a mood to cajole him. "Ha!" Manik got back at her. "Toh how should I have introduced you? Oh, Mr.Dixit, meet my crush! Ohh we're back in high school!" Sonakshi replied. "I'm not saying that, atleast best friend? You know what I should've only interrupted and said I'm your boyfriend! Wasn't he being too over friendly? And you like me and so do I, so we can date also, so technically I'm your boyfriend!" Manik argued back "Technicality? You're one to speak ha, what about that too much work and that analogy of a Ferris wheel when it comes to relationships-" Sonakshi replied, almost not realising that Manik just said he liked her back- ALMOST- "wait... did you say you like me back?" Sonakshi asked. Manik looked at her, with a look of cognizance..."

Uh, did I say that?" He spoke, fumbling...the anger in his voice had suddenly gone away. "Yes..." Sonakshi answered. Manik looked at her for a moment before taking her lips into his, causing Sonakshi to be taken aback by this sudden gesture of his. He came up for air, his eyes closed, and muttered to himself, as if trying to clear his own confusion and answer his questions "Yes,yes I like Sona...I do."

Sonakshi called him, sweetly, "Manik...?" Manik looked up at Sona, speaking more loudly this time, "Yes, Sona I like you too.." "Manik calm down, it's just liking...and no relationship...I just wanted to be transparent with you, remember? We aren't deeply in love- calm down." Manik looked at her surprised, "Sonakshi... Most of my 'likings' have hardly lasted for an hour or two... I've a stronger liking toward you...I know it's not love...yet. But for me it's new." "I understand Manik, calm down, it's not that big a deal. Love, that is a big deal. We are far from that." (Or are you? Her mind questioned her.) Manik agreed"Yes, yes, it's not love yet, nothing serious.. You're right."(is she?his mind questioned). He moved away from her and began driving, the ride being silent... But internally, they were around a lot of noise, both of them were in a dilemma, having multiple arguments and counter arguments with themselves...Is this love? Do opposites always attract? Do people who lack compatibility have a happily ever after? Can two different worlds come together to make one of their own?
