Lorraine is furious

Abigail arrives

Judge - I take into account your plea of guilty and your apparent display of remorse. I also take into account your claim that it was an accident. Lucy shakes her head in distress

As she is led away Lucy sees Ted sitting in the public gallery. Ted has eye contact but quickly turns his face away in contempt

Lucy is dragged away

Bob has his staff gathered around

Bob - So Inspector Rouse is on his way

Vera - That scruffy fool? Still, at least it makes a change from Grace

Bob - Yes

Meg - And where is Lorraine?

Bob - She is in solitary, best to keep her away from the others

Janice - I wonder which one of them did it?

Bob - That will be for Rouse to find out

Vera - Will Dawson still be getting a transfer?

Meg - Poor woman, I feel bad for her. How is she right now?

Alone on her solitary bed, Lorraine is crying her eyes out

Lucy is being led out of court, by Vern, as she spots Ted leaving the court via the public door

Lucy tries to break free from Vern and run towards Ted. She is restrained

Vern softens a bit

Vern - Ok, but I am coming with you, and this needs to be quick, you can only have a few minutes because I need to get you back to Blackmoor, we can't hang around long

They start rushing towards Ted, who is marching away briskly

Bob arrives along with Vera

Bob - Women you are all to stay in this room, for now, you will not be allowed out of here for a bit

Sasha - Whatever for Mr Moran?

Bob - There has been a serious incident...

Rouse is with Meg and Janice in the cell with the body

Rouse - She was young, its a shame

Janice - Yes, she was very young

Rouse - Any known enemies? Any of the women had a motive to kill her?

Janice - Yes, all of them

Rouse (surprised) - All of them?

Janice - Oh yes, they were all quite hateful and disgusted with Hannah and her mother

Rouse - What did they do to be hated by them all?

Meg studies the floor and Janice tries not to laugh

Janice - Maybe Mr Moran will fill you in on that one!

Rouse bags up the knife

Rouse - Well we will get this knife tested, see if it has any prints or other clues to show us

In the Recroom the women look stunned

Sasha - None of us wanted her dead Mr Moran, I promise you. We were happy enough for them to simply be transferred

Bob - Well Rouse will have to investigate of course. But if anyone does know something I'd suggest you step forward now and save us the hassle of an investigation

Silence

Bob - Well? Does anyone have anything to say?

Lucy is with Ted

Ted - I have nothing to say to you

Ted storms away

Lucy quietly sobs

Vern - Come on Ferguson, time to go, you've had your chance

Vern leads her away back to the car

Ted arrives by his car and turns around to watch as Lucy is led away, her back to him now. Tears prick his eyes

Rouse is with Bob in the office

Rouse paces the room with a fag

Rouse - Incest? How bloody charming!

Bob - I was having them both transferred today to deal with the issue. The girl didn't need to die because of this. I can't believe the women actually went that far over it

Rouse - Yes, well the knifes been sent off to forensics. We will wait to see if it shows us anything

Janice is at the desk typing as Lee arrives for his shift

Lee - Much been going on here this morning?

Rouse is interviewing Sasha. Meg is supervising

Ruse - No? I thought that was what you were in here for

Rouse runs his fingers through his hair and looks agitated. He turns to Meg

Lee arrives looking upset

Lee- Freestone, come with me, please. I want a word with you

Abigail - Oh didn't you know Mr Bailey, we are not allowed to leave this room

Rouse is in the staff room having a coffee with Vera

Rouse - Well Cartwright was no help

The phone rings

Vera - I'll answer it and see

Vera holds the phone out for Rouse

Lee is alone with Abigail in a corridor

Abigail - So what is this about then?

Lee - Don't play games, I'm sure you know exactly what it's about

Lee tries to contain his rage

Lee - I know about the HIV, I gather the whole prison knows now

Rouse - Forensics examined the knife

Rouse - Yes, there were a set of fingerprints on the knife

Bob - Great, we can check to see if they match any of the women's

Rouse - No need, we already got a match. The prints belong to Hannah Dawson herself

Bob looks shocked

Bob - You mean...

Rouse nods his head

Rouse - Yes, it looks like our girl Dawson killed herself. It was a suicide not a murder

Bob - So it appears that Hannah killed herself

Lorraine shakes her head angrily

Bob - Yes you will be leaving this cell soon

Lorraine looks pleased

Bob - When the van arrives to take you to Blackmoor

Lorraine is angry

Lorraine - You're still going to transfer me, even after my daughter has been murdered?

Bob - I have to, it doesn't change the way the women feel about you

Lorraine - This is a total scandal! This is a conspiracy, you are all in it together and all covering it up together!

Janice is there with the women

Janice - Rouse closed the case early due to finding enough evidence to suggest the poor girl did it to herself

Sasha - Perhaps living with such a disgusting thing got to her too much

Janice- Yes, well let's not be too callous, the girl is dead remember

Sasha - Yes, but it was probably for the best in the long run

Judy - Oh come on Sash, I dunno about that. That's a bit much

Janice leaves the room

Sasha and Judy sit down together

Abigail sits in a corner, reading a book

Lee is with Sue on the grounds of the prison

Sue - What have you brought me out here for?

They walk along a bit

Sasha arrives at the boiler room and walks towards the spot where she hid the knife taken from Marie

The upset Sue hugs her son and comforts him

Lee - I'm scared mum, I really don't know what to do next

Sue - Well the first thing to do is make an appointment to see a dr, you need to explain what has happened. You need to have tests. You really need to make an appointment as soon as possible, not leave it too long

Lee - I will make it today

Sue - Yes, good. That will be the first step

Lee- When I go to the dr can you come with me mum? I don't want to go on my own

Sue - Of course, I can sweetheart, that's no problem

Lee - Thanks, mum...I still can't believe I am in this situation, it feels like it must be some kind of bad dream

Sue - I know it's easier said than done, but maybe we should try our best not to worry too much yet. Wait until we see the dr, it's all we can do now
