Exterior shot of Blackmoor in daytime
Inside Joan is laying in her dark cell as Len opens the door and comes in
Len - Good morning Ferguson, did you sleep well?
Joan - Bloody awful, this bed is like sleeping on concrete
Len chuckles
Len - I suppose you could do with some breakfast could you?
Joan - What the hell do you think? I'm starving, I have not eaten since yesterday lunchtime
Len turns around
Len - Alright bring it in
A smirking Marie enters the cell carrying a plate of food
Marie - Well well well if it's not my old mate Joanie. Mr Murphy told me you were here, but I found it hard to believe
Len - That's right Ferguson, Winter has rather a distrusting nature, she insisted on seeing it for herself
Marie sits beside Joan
Marie - Mr Murphy insisted I bring you some food, he was worried you'd be pretty starving by now
Len - That's right, gotta look after my girls
Marie holds the plate out and Joan tries to take it but Marie drops it all over the floor
Marie - Oh dear me, look what I've gone and done
Joan - You stupid clumsy fool!
Len - If you want it so badly why don't you get on your hands and knees and eat it off the floor
Marie chuckles
Marie - Yeah like the dog you are
Joan - Get stuffed! I'd rather go hungry!
Len - Oh but we can't have that
Len drags Joan off the bed and forces her to the floor and pushes her face in the food
Len - EAT UP FERGUSON!
Joan - YOU MONGREL MURPHY! YOU FILTHY DISGUSTING MONGREL!
Exterior shot of Wentworth
Inside Marty is in the governor's office with Janice, he is not wearing a uniform
Janice - Unless I'm mistaken you are meant to be on duty this morning, so may I ask why you are not in uniform Mr Jackson?
Marty - I'm not in uniform because I don't work here anymore. I've come in to tell you I quit right now. I am going to clean out my locker and leave for good
Janice looks annoyed
Janice -This had better be some kind of joke Jackson!
Marty - It's no joke, I'm going right now
Janice - Well I have news for you boy, you can't simply leave just when you feel like it, you have to give reasonable notice so that we can find a replacement in good time
Marty - I am leaving today and that's that
Marty turns to leave
Janice - JACKSON! I HAVEN'T FINISHED WITH YOU LAD!
Marty - Well I'm finished with you, goodbye
Marty walks out of the room, Janice is fuming
Colleen is in reception when Brumby is brought in in a wheelchair, Colleen looks shocked
Colleen - Tucker? What happened?
Brumby looks bitter
Brumby - Morgan put me in a wheelchair
Colleen - Morgan did that to you? Hell, I knew she was a nasty piece of work but this?...
Brumby - She threw me from a car, now thanks to her I'm probably gonna be stuck in this thing for the rest of my life
Janice is marching along a corridor where she bumps into Meg
Janice - Mrs Morris! Just the person I wanted to see
Meg senses Janice's bad mood
Meg - Oh yes? Is something wrong?
Janice - Yes something is wrong, some things very wrong. I wondered if you were aware that your son has just handed in his notice and is leaving right away, regardless of leaving us short-staffed or the fact he is duty-bound to give reasonable notice?

Meg looks shocked
Meg - I had no idea
Janice - I don't need to tell you what a disappointment that is, and if he hopes for a good reference for future employers he better not come to me for one!
Meg - This doesn't sound like Marty governor, he is normally so reliable
Janice - Yes well he must have got bored of that, decided to rebel
Meg - Is he still in the building? I'll try and talk to him, something can't be right
Janice - He said something about clearing his locker out, maybe you'll catch him if you hurry
Meg turns to rush off
Janice calls after her
Janice - If I were you I'd save my breath, he seemed quite adamant about it
The dining room
The women are having breakfast as Colleen arrives in the room with Brumby. The room goes silent, everyone looks at brumby is shock
Brumby (angry) - I said I didn't want to come here Mrs Powell, I said take me straight to my cell
Colleen - And I told you I want to see you have something to eat first
Brumby - I'm not hungry!
Colleen wheels Brumby over to where Pauline and Helen are sitting
Brumby - Why are you leaving me with this bitch?
Colleen - Look Tucker, don't you think it's about time you let go of this grudge against your mother, you are going to need her support now
Colleen turns to Pauline
Colleen - I'll leave her with you, make sure she eats something
Pauline nods her head, Colleen walks away
Pauline - I'll get you some breakfast...
Helen - No I'll go, you two need to talk
Pauline - Thanks Helen
Helen gets up and walks off
Pauline gently touches Brumby's face, she belligerently pulls away
Pauline - Oh my poor baby, what has happened to you?
Brumby - Morgan has put me in this thing if you really want to know
Pauline - Morgan did this to you?
Brumby - Yeah.....nice of her wasn't it
Pauline - Oh I knew, I just knew something awful was going to happen as soon as i heard the news reports of the robberies the pair of you were doing
Brumby - So you must be feeling pretty smart mother, you were right eh
Pauline - You have no idea how much I wish I wasn't Michelle.....please tell me you aren't going to be like this forever? Please tell me they can do something?
Brumby shrugs
Brumby - They already tried to do something, they performed an operation, the doc did warn me the chances of success were slim and he was right
Pauline - So that's it? There is nothing more they can do?
Brumby - Yeah looks that way
Pauline is crying
Pauline - Oh dear god, my poor child...
Brumby - Yeah well I'm the one who has to live with it not you, so quit with the crocodile tears will you
Pauline - They aren't crocodile tears! And I may not be the one in the wheelchair but you're my daughter and seeing you like this is horrible, so horrible
Helen returns with some food
Brumby pushes the plate away
Brumby - I keep telling everyone I'm not hungry, no one wants to listen it seems
The staffroom
Marty is there cleaning out his locker as Meg comes in
Meg - The governor tells me you're quitting?
Marty - Yes that's right mum... and if you are here to talk me out of it don't bother
Meg - But why, I don't understand?
Marty - Because I've had enough of this place
Meg - But you've always loved your job Marty
Marty - Yeah, before Latham turned up I did
Meg - But now she's gone?
Marty - So the damage is done, my heart is just not in it anymore
Meg - But what will you do now? You know jobs are hard to find right now, you need to save up for yours and Margarets...
Marty cuts her off
Marty - That's the other thing I was meaning to tell you, Margaret and I have split up
Meg - Split up? But...
Marty - She was the one who left me, so that's the end of it
Meg - I don't understand why Marty, you both seemed so committed to each other?
Marty - Well it would appear she's shacked up with a new man now, I think it's her colleague at the drug center, Graham something or other....now I must press on mum
Marty walks off leaving Meg stunned
Inspector Grace is waiting in the interview room as Kelly is shown in
Grace - Good morning Webster...I guess you know why I'm here?
Kelly - Yeah, you want to talk about those silly redheaded bitches
Grace - Yes but not just them, there's the small matter of your brother too
Kelly - I'm glad you mentioned him! I wanted to talk to you about him and tell you everything that happened!
Grace - That's good Webster, we already know what happened but co-operation from you would save us all a lot of time
Grace opens his notebook
Grace - Now why don't you explain to me why you pushed him off the cliff? You're own brother Webster?
Kelly looks ready to explode
Kelly - I didn't push him! Raymond did! She did more than push him, she deliberately let him drop when she could have pulled him to safety
Grace - Do you think I came down in the last shower girly!
Kelly - It's the truth I swear! Raymond killed him not me
Grace - I understand girly, it must be hard for you to admit to killing your own brother. It was an accident, right? You meant to push Raymond and he got in the way? Why don't you unburden yourself, Webster, it must be bloody awful living with the guilt
Kelly - I'm telling you I didn't push him, Raymond did!
Grace loses his temper
Grace - STOP WASTING MY TIME GIRLY! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY MORE LIES!
Ruth is in her cell on the phone
Ruth - I thought it was time we talked business...
...We cut to the governor's office at Blackmoor where Len is sat in his chair with a glass of whisky
Len - I couldn't agree more. How is Henderson shaping up?
Ruth - He is proving to be an obedient and willing apprentice....as for the governor she really needs to learn some lessons on respect but she is beginning to see things my way at least
Len - Excellent....now we should discuss business
Ruth - We will but first I want to discuss Ferguson
Len - Oh? And what about her?
Ruth -I hear she arrived at blackmoor last night?
Len - Yes she did
Ruth - I want her dead Len
Len chuckles
Len - Oh do ya? Well forget that Ballinger, Ferguson is mine and I want her alive so I can make her life a living hell
Ruth - I said I want her dead Murphy!
Len - Yeah and I heard ya. Killing is your answer to everything isn't it Ballinger, don't you have any imagination? Killing Ferguson would be unsatisfactory for me, I have other plans for her
Ruth - You'll do it or so help me I'll...
Len loses his temper
Len - Don't try and threaten me, Ballinger! You know I can have ya so don't try it ever!
Ruth - Ok I'm sorry, I overstepped the mark...
Len - Too bloody right you did....call me again when you're ready to talk business
Ruth - I'm ready to talk business now, lets forget all about Ferguson, you want her she's all yours
Len - Sorry but you have wasted too much of my time already and I have stuff to do, call me later
Ruth - I would like to talk right now
Len - Bye Ballinger
Ruth - Murphy! Don't you dare hang up on me!
Len puts the phone down
Ruth slams the phone back on the hook looking angry
Grace is with Janice in the office
Grace - I have just spoken to Webster about her brother's death
Janice - Did she admit to pushing him?
Grace sighs
Grace - I'm afraid she didn't. she insists it was you
Janice looks shocked
Janice - Me? Oh, but I could never kill anyone inspector...I can barely bring myself to kill a fly let alone a person
Grace - Yeah well don't worry Miss Raymond I don't believe her and I am charging her. It would have made things easier if she had confessed that's all, bloody crims they have to make things so much bloody harder than they need to be
The laundry
A battered and bruised Cheryl is on the press
Vicki looks concerned
Vicki - I can take over the press for ya if ya like Chez
Cheryl - Thanks Vic, but I can manage
Mandy chuckles
Mandy - Trying to show us all what a tough girl ya are eh
Cheryl - It will take more than your fist to beat me if that's what you mean
Mandy - Well you shouldn't be on that press as you are no longer top dog, Mrs Ballinger is
Cheryl - Yeah well in that case where is she? I don't see her here, do you?
Mandy - She told me I can have the press...so you had better get off now
Cheryl - I don't think so Slater, I'm not giving up this press for you, you aren't the top dog I am
Mandy - Fact is Ballinger is top dog now, not you and she said I could have the press
Cheryl - Ballinger can't just take over when she feels like it, if she wants it she needs to be voted in
Mandy - She was voted in last night
Cheryl - No she wasn't, what happened last night was completely out of order
Mandy - You're braver than I thought Gibson, brave and stupid that is....now I'll have a word with Mrs Ballinger
Mandy leaves the room
Vicki looks fretful
Vicki - Oh gee Chez, it's not a good idea to upset Ballinger, maybe you should step down quietly
Cheryl is angry
Cheryl - You want her to be the top dog do you? Is that what you're saying?
Vicki - No of course not, but she's dangerous Cheryl
Cheryl - She doesn't scare me, no one does
Joan is laying on her bed in the cell as the door opens and Len comes in
Len - I've just had a chat with our friend Ballinger Ferguson....guess what she wants me to do?
Joan(aggressive) - Why don't you tell me, I know you're dying to
Len - She wants me to kill ya
Joan sits up on her bed looking startled
Len chuckles
Len - Oh don't worry Ferguson, luckily for you, I told her to forget it. I have other plans for you
Len walks out of the room
Len - She's all yours
Marie, Veronica, and a large group of other inmates walk into the cell
Marie is rolling her sleeves up
Marie - I've been waiting for a long time for this Freak...
They descend on Joan
Len stands outside the cell, puffing on a cigarette and listening to the sound of Joan taking a vicious beating
Marty's flat
Marty and Kath are sitting on the sofa
Marty - So that's it, Goodbye Wentworth
Kath - I bet Raymond wasn't too happy about that?
Marty - She was furious
Kath laughs
Kath- I wish I could have seen her face
Marty - Now all we need to do is get you a passport and we're off
Kath - Can we afford it?
Marty shows Kath the engagement ring he gave Spike
Marty - Once I take this back for a refund that will go some way to helping..I have some savings too. I think we might just about do it
Kath - I can't wait! I used to think I would be stuck in that place forever, it used to get me down so much Marty
Marty - Well now you're free and I'm not going to let you go back, trust me
Kath - I do
Brumby is in the rec room staring at the tv as Colleen comes in
Colleen - I've been looking for you, Tucker...I think you should work in the laundry
Brumby - Work in the laundry? What's the point?
Colleen - The point is it will be company for you and something to keep you busy. You can't mope about here on your own all-day
Brumby - How can I work like this?
Colleen - You can sit at the sawing machine easily enough
Brumby - Big deal
Colleen - Listen, Tucker, I realize how difficult this must be for you, but being in a wheelchair doesn't mean your life has to end, it doesn't mean you are completely useless?
Brumby - No? Seems to me I was already a useless bitch before this, now I'm even more useless than ever. It would do the world a huge favor if I was just put down, the way they put useless sick old animals down
Colleen - Oh pull yourself together Tucker, this kind of talk will do you no good at all
Brumby stares at the tv screen
Brumby - I'm trying to watch the tv if you don't mind Mrs Powell
Colleen sighs
Colleen - Fine have it your way
Colleen leaves again
The kitchen
Pauline and Helen are on duty
Pauline - That thug Morgan! If I ever see her again I'll kill her for what she did to Michelle
Helen - Yeah it's a pretty rotten thing she did
Pauline - I wish I could help Michelle but she refuses to let me
Helen - Just give her time Pauline
Pauline - How much time does she need? We go round in circles, it seems hopeless
Helen - She will need you more than ever now love, even if she doesn't want to admit it right now she will in time. You will just have to be patient and don't give up, that's the worst thing you could do
Pauline - You reckon?
Helen - Yes I do, you're her mother Pauline, she does need you and in time she's going to accept that. The reality of being in a wheelchair is going to catch up on her sooner or later and when it does it's going to hit her hard. She's going to need you then
Joan is laying on the bed severely beaten as Marie, Veronica and the others stand over her
Marie - Reckon she's had enough now eh girls?
Veronica - Yeah I reckon. Don't wanna kill her now do we
They leave the cell to where Len is waiting
Marie - She's a mess Mr Murphy, a real mess
Veronica - Yeah just like you wanted
Len - Good work girls....you'll get your reward later
they all leave and Len enters the cell
Len - This is just the start of it Ferguson, there will be plenty more. Your life is going to be hell, every minute of every day. You'll regret the day you set me up and sent me to prison
Joan - Why don't you just bloody kill me you mongrel?
Len - It's just like I said, that would be too easy on you. I want you to suffer Ferguson
The laundry. Ruth, Mandy, and a gang arrive
Mandy - Mrs Ballinger has something to say, ladies
Ruth scans the room and rests her eyes on Cheryl
Ruth - Indeed I do....anyone who thinks last night was a joke is welcome to challenge me, but I really wouldn't recommend it. You should also remember that it is not just myself, it is also the governor you would be challenging
Ruth stands in front of Cheryl
Ruth - Are you really prepared for such a challenge?
Cheryl - You weren't voted in properly
Ruth - Ok fine
Ruth addresses the room
Ruth - Anyone who doesn't want me as top dog raise your hands now....you're more than welcome to have a chat about it...with myself, the governor, and Mr Henderson that is
The room is silent, no one responds
Ruth turns back to Cheryl
Ruth - Seems they are a sensible bunch, know when they are better off accepting things, why don't you learn from them?...oh and btw I'll be collecting protection money later, 5 dollars from each of you, anyone who doesn't have it can expect to be punished
Ruth smirks at Cheryl
Ruth - I do hope you have the money for me?
Cheryl flies at Ruth
Cheryl - You're a cocky bitch! I'm going to teach you who the boss is here!
Cheryl goes to hit Ruth but is pulled away by Mandy and the others
Ruth slaps Cheryl in the face

8 136Automata Annex
This Fiction is intended as a suppliment to my main title "I was reborn into a fantasy world as a magic robot?! Automata Prime". This is the appendix that would normally go at the END of the book. I will be updating the entries as new information is revealed in the story and linking back here from the author notes. Here we'll explore the world that I've crafted in the book, learn new things about the characters, and get a deeper understanding of how magic works. Think of it as an Automata Wiki.

8 166Overseer (Dwarf Fortress x Worm)
A young woman gains the power to make elements of a saved game real. She must then survive the assault of a coordinated attack by some of the deadliest parahumans on the planet - he same group of murderhobos that caused her the mental trauma that resulted in her gaining her powers to begin with. This is a crossover fiction between the most complicated game ever created, 'Dwarf Fortress' by Toady One, and an extensive grimdark superpower genre serial fiction called 'Worm' by Wildbow. It is violent and there are some references to sex in it, so it's probably not fit for young children to read, and persons not familiar with Dwarf Fortress or Worm might be confused by some elements, but I feel confident that it stands reasonably well on it's own. This crossover is complete. I posted it here in it's entirety all at once. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
8 58Adventures in Atalok
