"baby, wake up." taehyung whispered above the younger's head while petting his hair trying to wake him up.
jungkook stirred in his sleep a little before finally opening his eyes. "what time is it?" he asked once he saw that it's still dark outside. "it's 2am." taehyung replied which confused the other. "why are you waking me up? are you okay petal?"
"i'm fine. get up now! we're going on an adventure!" taehyung excitedly said and jungkook chuckled to himself, "you literally come up with the weirdest ideas just to wake me up. what adventure at this time?"
taehyung pouted as he answered, "it's fine if you don't wanna go, i can go by myself."
jungkook sat up before squishing the older's cheeks, "you're such an adorable baby. but where will we go?"
taehyung giggled, "it's a surprise! now get up." he ordered again, and with that, the two were getting ready for their adventure as taehyung likes to call it.
they took taehyung's car that had many stuff in the backseat which taehyung said are essentials for any adventure.
after a two hour drive, taehyung finally pulled up on a mountain top fulled with trees and grass.
he got some things out of his car, like the tent. "help me put this tent up." he asked jungkook which had him chuckling. "you really brought us camping taehyung? it's freezing here."
"no worries! i brought many blankets." taehyung excitedly said again and they started setting the tent up.
in about thirty minutes, their tent was ready with many blankets inside and pillows for them. "now tell me, what's all this for?" jungkook asked once he cuddled taehyung to his side inside the tent.
"i figured, you always do nice things for me, and you told me you love to see the sunrise, and that's impossible from our home, so i searched this place up and thought we could watch the sunrise together while we camp here, away from everyone where no one can judge us." taehyung said softly before he pecked the other's lips, "i hope you're not upset that i woke you up at a time like this."

jungkook smiled at him, "this is the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me. i love that you brought me here, thank you."
"let's get out now, the sun is about to rise." taehyung pulled at jungkook's arm so they can take their blankets and go out.
they cuddled in between the blankets as taehyung was sandwiched between jungkook's legs, his back resting on the younger's chest.
the two sat there watching the sun as it rose before they laid on their backs cuddling. "you make me feel like pluto and jupiter are aligned with the sun, and i'm there floating." taehyung whispered which had jungkook looking at him.
in a minute he says, "you're so weird taehyung, but that's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me."
taehyung smiled before he heard jungkook talking again, "i wish we could live like this. only the happy parts, none of the terrible. not even the mildly unpleasant. that's what i want to do with you- give you only the good, keep away the bad, so that good is all we have around us."
taehyung smiled again, "i can never tell you how lucky i am to have you." that was all he said before he was making out with jungkook in freedom where no one can see them.

The nobility of the Empire care only for those who carry blessed bloodlines, and their time to adapt and train up for the new world is limited. Patrons are scarce among those like Frank, with only the base Hero perks, and magic studies expensive and lengthy. Often requiring heavy Oaths to gain the necessary aid to wield mana as a mage. Frank found another way. It nearly cost him his life. Now on the run and burned by the very magic he sought and craved, he is a pilgrim traveling to the The Eternal Tree, font of Perseverance. Frank hopes Ir-karlak will grant him some way to recover from the fires that scorched him. Without snuffing out the embers those fires lit within, for he has learned to harness them and he would not give up magic for the world. *** In the last 21 days, as I update this, I've managed about 18-19 updates. So Scorched should update most days, muse willing. She's fickle, sometimes. Not every day, but most.
