《The Bully.》Chapter 1.

It was another day of walking home covered in bruises. Bright was limping as he made his way to the front door.
Once inside he realized his mom wasn't home, he went in the kitchen to grab an ice pack. When he opened the freezer he saw the note his mom left.
Dear bright
I know that stupid metawin kid probably did a number on you today, so I froze a couple extra for you. I'm so sorry me going to the principal's office made it worse for you, next time I'll just make sure to listen. There's dinner in the fridge(made your favorite). I'll be home late tonight so leave the door unlocked.
-mom
Bright smiled bitterly at the note. For 2 years Bright's mom had been trying to do something about the infamous Win Metawin, but nothing ever worked. All that did was get Bright beaten more.
Since his second year of high school, Bright had been a victim of Win Metawins constant bullying.
At first, the two never crossed paths. Until one day when Bright was a sophomore, he was making his way to the library when he didn't watch where he was going, he bumped into someone, which caused Bright to fall hard on his ass.
The person he bumped into was no other than Metawin, they stared at each other for what felt like hours until Win picked up a book and threw it at Brights head.
The words he spoke that day Bright never forgot
"A small twink like you should watch where the fuck their going"
Bright hated Win after that, and himself. As years went by Bright started working out more, but he never fought back when it came to the bullies, he knew that's what they wanted.
Bright was an introvert, he didn't have many friends except for one, Mew.
They have been friends since the day Bright first interacted with Win. Mew helped Bright up after Win threw the book at his head.
Bright layed on his bed rubbing the ice pack on his now bruised stomach.
"Gosh I hate that fucker" Bright said to himself. Soon he fell into a deep slumber.
"BRIGHT YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE!"
Bright shot up from his bed and looked at the time. He groaned loudly. This was the second time this week he overslept.
After doing his usual morning routine, bright placed his uniform on and ran downstairs.
He was greeted by his mom's warm smile, only for the smile to go away and turn into a worried look.

"Mom I'm fine I promise" Bright reassured her, sure the punch Win gave him in the mouth probably bruised by now.
"I'm so sorry baby, I wish I could help you change schools but we just don't have the money for it" Bright moms cried. Bright pulled her into a hug and kissed her on her head
"Mom, I can handle him, I just choose not to fight back remember?"
"Well then you need too and then maybe he'll leave you alone, I still don't know why that kid bothers you, you're fucking huge"
Bright laughed lightly and let go of his mom.
"I'm going to be late, I'll see you later tonight" Bright grabbed a banana and ran to the door to put his shoes on.
"Make sure not to poke the bear okay?" Brights mom joked.
Bright smiled then ran out of the house. He walked slowly, not caring if he's late anymore.
This was the thing he likes most about the day, walking home and from school. This was Bright got to do most of his thinking. He would always find himself thinking about Win though. He had no clue why the kid was so bothered by him.
After the encounter with Win in 10 grade, other people started to make fun of him as well. But when he worked out more and got bigger, he started to become a little popular. Brights looks and muscled body had people stop bothering him, except for Win, of course, everyone else seemed to think since Bright was attractive that he mattered now.
But no one ever defended him when it came to Win.
That's why he chooses to never let anyone be close to him, except for Mew. That was the only person he didn't mind having around. And it wasn't like Mew was like the others either. Anytime Win tried to be a dick when Mew was around, Mew would talk back and maybe even take a punch for Bright.
Bright was grateful for Mew but still didn't understand why Win couldn't hist leave them alone.
When Bright started school in his 9th-grade year, he heard about Win being the major Fuck boy of the school. But he had no idea he was a bully.
As Bright was getting closer to the school's building he saw a lot of people gathered on the side laughing. He groaned and continued walking ignoring their presence.
As he was walking he heard the laughter of someone he knew too well. It was Win Metawin. Seemed he was picking on someone else.

Bright walked faster and was able to go unnoticed.
It was Bright's 3rd block. He hadn't run into the big bad bully, and he was relieved by it.
Bright was knocked out of thought when he felt a tap on his shoulder, he turned around and saw his friend Mew looking at him.
"What?" Bright asked
"You run into your lover yet?" Mew joked.
Yes, you heard right. Mew, even though he hates Win too, thinks that we may be in love.
He first joked about when Bright had his first encounter with Win, but his jokes soon became serious because "he looks at you like you're his everything"
Bright didn't believe it, wouldn't believe. In Brights mind, you don't hurt the people you love. And it wasn't like Bright felt anything for Win anyways, Bright knew in his heart he hated Win.
When Win wasn't able to hurt Bright physically, Win would use words instead, and those words always hurt Bright even if he didn't show it.
"He's not my lover" Bright snapped back
"Hey it's not my fault he cant seem to get enough of you" Mew teased. Bright shook his head and went back to doing his work.
It was finally lunch and Bright was sitting in the cafeteria farthest from everyone. Mew came back with his food, and they chatted.
"Ouu look it's the kid from my history class" Mew pointed at a tall skinny guy, he was handsome Bright thought. And he looked familiar to Bright as well.
"You like him or something?" Bright asked.
Mew froze then looked away from Bright as he stuffed his face with rice.
Bright smiled and wanted to tease the latter.
"Oh? So you do like him? I mean he's cute, you guys would make a good couple.." Bright started laughing when he saw his friend's face turning a shade of red.
Mew was about to say something until he saw someone in the corner of his eyes, he looked and saw Win staring at Bright. Mew could've sworn he saw heart eyes, but he looked away quickly and looked back to Bright.
"Yeah, I like him just how Win likes you" Mew teased back.
Bright stopped laughing and made a disgusted look.
Now it was Mews turn to laugh at his friend.
"Just eat your damn food" Bright sniggered.
For the rest of lunch, the two friends bickered and laughed with each other, not knowing someone was watching them intensely.
"Win what were you staring at, at lunch?" Wins friend Mike asked
Win kept a blank face and simply answered nothing, but his blood was boiling. And Win found himself being angry.
It was the last class of the day and Bright was ready to go home, today may be the first day he doesn't get beat to a pulp my Win. Bright was hoping it would stay like that since his bruises from yesterday still pained him.
Bright decided to just skip his class today because it was a sub, and he didn't feel like doing any work.
Bright went to the roof of the school's building and sat in a spot in the corner, he liked the spot because if someone came up to the roof no one would see him. And it was true, there were many times when he had to sit through people making out or confessing their love for one another.
Bright sat down and watched the clouds. He wanted to just enjoy the day before it could get ruined.
As Bright was "relaxing" he heard the door for the roof open, he turned to look and saw someone standing by the roof.
He couldn't tell who they were because their back was turned but when he heard them laugh he knew.
Why is Win up here?
He seemed to be on the phone with someone.
"Dude I don't feel like going out today."
Silence
"No not because of that, I just want to be home tonight. "
Silence
"Yeah, I saw him at lunch but he's probably hiding from me now" win laughed again.
"Who is he talking about?" Bright whispered, he tried to move to hear more but he accidentally knocked over a plant pot.
Win stopped laughing then turned to where Bright was.
"I gotta call you back" win hung up the phone walked closer.
"Who's there?" Win yelled
Bright wasn't scared but he just wanted to go home without being beaten.
Bright stood up and walked out from his spot.
Win widen his eyes and stared.
"You?"
