"Come on Phat, I don't know what you want me to do," Dave sulked rocking a crying Malia. Naala was in the shower, and Dave was stuck with the newborn baby.

"You want titty?" Dave asked holding her hand. Malia cried louder, turning her head to his chest.

"Naala hurry up!" Dave grunted in frustration.

"I'm done, sorry," Naala rushed out, still wrapped up in her towel. "Why are you giving your daddy a hard time?" She cooed at Malia taking her from him.

"You took your time," Dave said, his eyes stuck on her body. They were still separated but Dave spent the night with Naala.

"The only chance I get to shower is if you're here or the kids are home," Naala spoke laying Malia down so she could change.

"I like this hair on you," Dave mentioned, pulling on one of the strands.

"Thanks," Naala mumbled, her face flushing red. She threw on a random sundress to give her easy access for feeding.

"You been sleeping okay?" Dave asked sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Not without you," Naala admitted picking Malia up slowly. "I want you to come home," She added looking at him hopefully.

"For real?" Dave asked with wide eyes,

"I miss you," Naala replied softly. "The kids miss you too and they're taking it out on me,"

"You actually want me to come back or you want the kids to think everything is okay with us now?" Dave questioned beside her.

"I want my children not to hate me," Naala said feeding Malia. "So can you come home?" She practically begged.

"I'll come home," Dave mumbled putting his arm around her. "Does that mean you're gonna stop fucking Gray?" Dave questioned making Naala sigh.

"I haven't had sex with him since Malia was born," Naala muttered running her hand through Malia's silky hair.

"I don't give a damn," Dave cursed. "I don't need to be hearing about my wife fucking another man. You already fucked him in our bed,"

"Okay don't start," Naala spoke quietly. Dave huffed and stood up. "I'll stop seeing him then just don't get angry,"

"Don't do it for me," Dave scoffed. "Do it because you actually care about our marriage,"

"Oh please," Naala rolled her eyes. "When have you cared about our marriage?"

"When I cut every bitch I knew off just to please you," Dave replied loudly.

"That was for me? Your wife?" Naala laughed. "I honestly want to understand you Amir,"

"You were cheating too Naala, don't play the victim," Dave said spitefully.

"I can't wait for the day I'll be free from you," Naala said looking him in the eye.

"Whatever," Dave said quietly. He pulled the door open and left it, making sure to slam it.

"Don't stop," Naala moaned clutching onto him. Her head was buried in the array of pillows that decorated the bed.

"How the fuck do you get so wet?" He mumbled to himself as he continued to dive in and out of her.

Naala felt her legs start to shake and her eyes roll to the back of her head. She began to clench herself around him, an indication that she was close.

"I can't," Naala cried out throwing her head back.

"Shit," He whispered, his dick stiffening up inside her.

"Pull out," Naala moaned loudly, she may have been caught up but she would rather die than get pregnant again so close to Malia.

He didn't listen of course and ended up releasing himself inside of her.

"Mommy! Daddy's here," Sinai yelled from outside the door.

Naala tutted, "Tell him I'll be one minute baby," Naala called out.

"Gray move," Naala tapped him, he was still inside her trying to get over his orgasm.

"Does he come round every day now?" Gray asked pulling out of her. Naala rolled her eyes and stood up.

"He's their dad," She felt compelled to remind him. Gray pulled her arm back towards him and wrapped his arms around her waist securely.

"You better not be giving away what's mine," Gray said making Naala laugh.

"Gray I'm giving away what's his," Naala said with a smile. "Don't forget I'm still married to him,"

"When is that gonna change?" Gray frowned looking down at her. "All this sneaking around isn't it," He didn't like having to hide their relationship.

"I'm not breaking up with my husband," Naala answered. "If that's what you thought then I'm sorry," She apologised.

"What does that mean?" Gray said letting her waist go.

"Gray, one thing I'm not going to do is let my children suffer. Their dad provides for them, why would I change that?" Naala questioned him.

"Provides for them or you?" Gray said shaking his head.

"Are you gonna provide for me? With your tattoo shop salary?" Naala retorted. "I wasn't made to be broke, I can't be broke,"

"So you're with him for the money?" Gray asked, surprised that Naala was being that upfront with him.

"Look around you. Do you like what you see? When you pull in here, how many cars do you see?" Naala said walking away from him.

"I like nice things and he can give them to me," She concluded putting on her robe. "You gotta go come on," She said softly.

"I never knew you would trick for money," Gray responded trying to get under her skin.

"It's not tricking when you marry them," Naala laughed.

"Wait Teddy, don't ruin what we have," She pouted when he started to put on his clothes angrily.

"You just stood there and told me to my face that we will never be nothing more because I don't have money," Gray exclaimed loudly.

"Stop shouting, my daughter is sleeping," Naala warned him.

"I don't care," Gray spat. "We can stop having sex too because obviously you don't want to be doing that,"

"Stop being dramatic," Naala sighed. "I'm sorry okay, I chose the wrong words," She pulled back over to the bed.

"I'm sorry," She repeated straddling his lap. Gray turned his head away from her and kept his hands by his side.

"Teddy stop," Naala said with a sad face. "Look at me," She turned his head to her.

Gray looked into her eyes and tried to fight the urge. She was beautiful, breathtaking even but she was a severely damaged woman.

"I can't keep being second to him Naala. It's either you want me or you don't," Gray said putting his hands under her butt.

"I want you," Naala said softening her eyes at him. "I do," She nodded kissing his lips.

And just like that, Gray was hooked again. Her vulnerability and sensitivity was something he was attracted to.

Gray kissed her back, parting her lips with his tongue and kissing her passionately. Naala moaned into the kiss and then patted his face.

"My kids," She said lowly wiping his lips. "You can stay up here if you want,"

"I'll wait," Gray nodded letting her get up.

"Okay, I'll be back," Naala muttered pecking his lips once more and taking the baby monitor with her.

Naala skipped down the steps and saw Dave holding Malia on the couch.

"Why did you wake her up?" Naala questioned setting the monitor down.

"She was just laying there doing nothing," Dave replied. "What took you so long?" He raised a brow.

"I have company, that's why I tell you to call before stopping by," Naala said in response. She picked Saint up off the ground and took the toy he was shoving in his mouth away.

"With our kids in the house Naala?" Dave asked in disgust. "That's why you're doing with our kids practically down the hall?"

"Stop judging me," Naala frowned at him. "Besides aren't you meant to be taking them today?"

"Sinai go pack your bags baby," Naala spoke to Sinai quickly.

"And he's up there, in the house I paid for," Dave carried on.

"Give me my child," Naala held her hands out. Dave moved Malia and shook his head.

"Nah you can go back up there with homeboy. Tell him to start paying the bills here too," Dave said with a laugh.

"You're not funny," Naala hit his shoulder. "You're bitter because I've moved on,"

"Move on in his crib, not here," Dave shouted at her. Naala stepped back and put her hand up to his face.

"Don't yell at me like that," Naala replied quietly.

"I ain't yelling yet, you want me to fucking yell?" Dave shouted loudly at her. "It's like you don't listen to me Naala," He continued to shout but stopped when her eyes started watering.

"You're scaring me," Naala said stepping away from him.

"I'm trying to get through to you Love," Dave huffed setting Malia down in her chair.

"I don't like when you shout at me," Naala sniffed. "I've told you that before,"

"My fault," Dave said reaching out to hug her. "I'm sorry, stop crying," He rubbed her back.

Naala had them all wrapped around her finger and even though that was 7 years ago, nothing has changed.

Naala heard voices down stairs making her raise a brow. She picked up her gym bag and slowly made her way down the steps holding onto the railing.

"Thanks so much for this, I didn't even realise I ran out," A female said with a chuckle.

"You're good," Dave responded just as Naala made it to the last step.

"Woo," Naala breathed out flipping her hair over her shoulder. "Who's this?" She said to Dave.

"Oh I'm Jessica, your neighbour," Jessica waved. "We've never met I've only met your boyfriend," She said gesturing to Dave.

"My husband you mean?" Naala said resting her hand on her bulging stomach. Her ring glistened in the light and Jessica couldn't help but gawk at it.

"I didn't know you were married," Jessica said to Dave.

"Because my husband doesn't like to wear his ring," Naala spoke over her shoulder as she walked off.

"I forget to put it on sometimes," Dave defended. "Jessica came by to borrow some salt,"

"They sell salt at Walmart," Naala replied grabbing a bottle of water from the refrigerator.

"That's my cue," Jessica said awkwardly rocking on her feet. "Congratulations by the way and can I say you have a lovely home?"

"Mmm thanks," Naala said with a fake smile. "See your friend out Amir," She spoke sitting down on an arm chair.

"I'm sorry about her," Dave said as he walked Jessica out.

"Don't be, if my husband looked anything like you, I would be the same," Jessica said in response.

"Did you manage to fix your fence?" Dave asked leaning against the door.

He carried on conversing with her by the door making Naala roll her eyes.

"Miss Ruby," Naala called out, "Where is this lady?" She murmured rubbing her stomach.

"Princess," Ruby rushed in quickly. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I have a Pilates class but I'm hungry. Could you make me something light?" Naala asked bringing her phone out from her purse.

"What about a Caesar salad?" Ruby suggested one of Naala's favorites.

"Mmm yes please, thank you," Naala replied. She looked down the hallway and saw Dave still talking to Jessica by the door.

"It's like he wants me to kill her," Naala muttered putting her hair up into a bun.

"Babies okay?" Ruby asked trying to make conversation.

"They're fine, giving me the worse gas though," Naala groaned before burping.

"I'll make a tea that helped me," Ruby nodded. Naala thanked her and went back to her emails.

There was a charity event in the evening that she had to chair. Dave was meant to be her date but the way he was behaving made her want to invite Tarek instead.

"Amir shut the door now!" Naala shouted down the hall.

"Lemme go see what she wants," Dave said saying bye to Jessica.

He walked back through to the kitchen and mugged Naala, "Why you acting like that?"

"Do you wanna fuck her?" Naala asked simply. Ruby minded her business and carried on making the salad.

"No why is that what you always jump to?" Dave sighed taking a cookie off the table.

"Because I can't trust you," Naala answered looking at him.

"Lemme see your phone then," Dave said holding his hand out.

"I said I can't trust you, if you wanna hurt yourself have the phone," Naala said placing it in his hand.

"I can't trust you either," Dave replied unlocking her phone. Naala watched him look through all her messages and find nothing, like she thought.

"Now give me your phone," Naala demanded. "Because you're clearly doing something to keep accusing me,"

"I'm not doing nothing," Dave defended,

"Then hand the phone over," Naala squinted at him. He sucked his teeth and pushed his phone into his pocket.

"That's what I thought," Naala answered holding her hands out so he could help her up. "That's why your coming with me to Pilates." she smiled pecking his lips.

"I hate that class," Dave complained. It was a bunch of pregnant women, moaning and groaning.

"It helps me stay fit," Naala replied. That was true, her body had stayed relatively the same, all that has grown was her stomach.

"I help you stay fit," Dave smirked rubbing her butt.

"You do," Naala smiled wrapping her arms around his neck. "I'll give you some after the class," She spoke quietly.

Dave nodded and leaned down to kiss her lips. They kissed passionately until Ruby cleared her throat.

"That's why Princess has so many babies," She pointed at Dave.

"Ms Ruby," Naala laughed separating from Dave.

Trinity came down the steps and into the kitchen making Naala smile at Mariah.

"Hey Trin, I didn't know you were here," Naala spoke leaning into Dave.

"Yeah, I came to pick her up," Trinity smiled giving Naala a hug.

"La," Mariah squealed reaching for Naala, who carried her carefully, mindful of her bump.

"Hi my pretty girl," Naala cooed rocking her. "You love you some Lala huh?" She said as Mariah slobbered on her cheek.

"You can keep her," Trinity laughed looking over at Dave. "You can't speak?"

"If you about to start something then no I can't," Dave tutted letting Naala's waist go.

"Let's go over here pretty girl," Naala muttered to Mariah walking away from them.

"All I'm saying is that you spend more time with your other kids. I get you're married to their mom but Mariah shouldn't be neglected," Trinity fussed. Naala stayed close by and listened to their conversation.

"Then bring her here more," Dave shrugged uninterested in the conversation.

"To spend time with you or with your various nannies so you can fuck your wife?" Trinity responded.

Naala frowned, "You like spending time with me don't you Mimi?" Naala asked Mariah.

"Trinity you doing the most right now," Dave said to her. "Mariah is always welcome here, Naala is always asking for her to come round,"

"Oh really? I don't believe that," Trinity scoffed. Naala had heard enough, she walked back over to them.

"Trinity, it's not my responsibility to make sure your daughter spends time with her dad," Naala spoke up.

"But you influence him, so you should influence him to see his kids. What you do is selfish," Trinity snapped at Naala.

"Don't talk to her like that," Dave sighed because he didn't want Naala stressed out.

"You wanted him," Naala chuckled. "And now he's doing you like he did me. Don't be mad now," She handed Mariah over to Dave and went further into the kitchen.

"Dumb bitch," Trinity cursed at Naala,

"Get her out of my house Amir," Naala laughed. Surprisingly, the babies were making her more light hearted and less of a bitch.

"Mimi can stay," Naala added reaching for a bowl.

"I'll do it Princess," Ruby offered taking the bowl to help dish up for her. "Mr Dave has his hands full eh?" She asked with a smile.

"Mmm, I'm taking myself out of the situation," Naala nodded sitting on one of the stools by the island.

"I like mature Princess," Ruby praised placing the salad in front of her.

"So do I, it keeps me calm." Naala answered. She could still here Trinity and Dave fussing until the door slammed shut.

"Oooo," Naala moaned softly chewing on her salad. "Baby try this," She scooped some onto her fork and held it up to Dave.

"It's good," Dave nodded wiping his mouth slightly. "I'm ready when you are," He said pecking her lips.

"She took Mariah?" Naala questioned using a napkin to wipe the corner of her mouth.

"Yeah I ain't got time to keep going back and forth with her," Dave said in response. Naala could tell he was angry about it but he didn't really talk about Trinity much in her presence.

"You know I like having Mariah around, she's your daughter at the end of the day," Naala told him. Dave stood behind her and put his hands on her shoulders, squeezing them.

"I know that baby," He said kissing the side of her face.

"Miss Ruby can you put this in a to go box?" Naala asked pushing her bowl forward.

"I'll pack it up for you with some more for after," Ruby nodded,

"You know me so well," Naala grinned standing up with help of Dave. "Bae did you pick up your suit from the dry cleaners?" Naala asked as he led her out the door.

He took the bag of food from Ruby, and nodded his head.

"I got it this morning," Dave replied before Naala stopped and gasped. "What? What is it? Is it the babies?" He said looking down in fear.

"No I haven't given Cabo a hug all day," Naala frowned looking back in the house.

"Cabs," Dave called out and Naala saw his little paws running toward them.

"Hey baby boy," Naala squealed picking him up and kissing his fur. "You wanna come with mommy and daddy?" She said to him.

"He said no, put him down," Dave sighed looking at his watch.

"No he didn't, he said yes please mama," Naala said grabbing his lead and collar from the front door. "Let's go boo bear," She added carrying him to the car.

"Now the dog is coming to Pilates," Dave mumbled under his breath.

"Cabo wants to ride in the Bentayga," Naala turned back to Dave.

"Last time you complained about him on the seats," Dave reminded her opening the garage with remote key.

"We got over that didn't we Cabs?" Naala said in a baby voice.

"I don't wanna hear shit," Dave said picking out the key for Naala's Bentley. She stood back and waited for him to pull the car round.

"Take it easy," Dave said helping her into the car.

"I've got it Amir," Naala swatted his hands off of her. She sat Cabo in her lap and stroked his fur.

Dave went around the other side and got back into the car. Mason and Rex trailed behind them in an Escalade, they couldn't be too careful.

"How was therapy?" Dave questioned holding her hand.

"Spoke about my sister today," Naala replied quietly. "She also got me ready for tonight,"

Naala was nervous about chairing the event tonight because it was about sexual assault and surviving through it. Naala had to make a speech and she was dreading it.

"I'm gonna be by your side," Dave reminded her, squeezing her hand. Naala stared down at Cabo and nodded.

"It's just I've never had to talk about it in public. I only trusted you and Naleli with the whole story," Naala said quietly looking at the side of his face.

"What he did to you doesn't define you Love, you still the strongest woman I know," Dave spoke as he pulled up to the red light. "You're amazing," He said turning to her.
