"Turn the car around!" Naala shouted at the driver. They had barely made it down the street before whatever wool was over Naala's eyes cleared.

"Naala," Naleli warned making her shake her head quickly.

"That's my husband Naleli, I just shot my husband," Naala fretted as the car whizzed back to the scene.

"Calm down, he'll be fine," Naleli lied to ease her sisters mind. Connor had an insane aim and he will definitely not be fine.

When the car pulled back up, Tommie was still by his side. Naala rushed out of the car and fell to her knees beside him.

"Oh baby," She whispered as the blood poured from his chest. "No don't talk," Naala shushed him as he started to attempt to talk to her.

Tommie stood to her feet, feeling awkward for being there. Naala pressed her hand down on the wound to stop the bleeding.

"I'm sorry," Naala cried looking down at him. Dave lifted his hand up and put it over hers, his breathing get choppy.

"Don't just stand there, call somebody," Naala snapped at Tommie. Tommie was stuck, she was staring at the replica of Naala behind her.

"Naala let's take him to the trap," Naleli said standing back, Naala kept her hands on his wound, leaning down to kiss his face lightly.

"I'm sorry," Dave said breathlessly, Naala let more tears fall as she wiped the tears pooling in his eyes.

"No it's my fault." Naala cried, she was regretting her decision. If Dave died she would never forgive herself.

"Get him up," Naleli ordered her men. Naala allowed them to pick him up and she jumped in the car they took him in.

They laid him on the back seat and Naala straddled his waist with her hands still pressed firmly down on his chest. His eyes started to flutter open and closed and his breathing slowed down.

"No please Amir keep your eyes open." Naala pleaded with him, tapping his face quickly.

"I'm tired," Dave slurred closing his eyes. "Let's have a nap baby," He said to Naala.

"Mmm mmm we can't nap now, get up," Naala said with tears running down her face. "Think of our babies Amir please,"

"We're almost there Princess," Gregory said turning to look at Naala. She ignored him, her only focus was her husband dying underneath her.

"Stop it!" Naala said to Dave who was closing his eyes again. This time when she tapped his face, he didn't respond.

"Amir don't do this," Naala sobbed leaning down to hear if he's breathing. "Hurry up," She said to the driver who was going as fast as he could.

The rest of the ride was excruciatingly painful for Naala. Dave was her world without a doubt and here was hanging on by a thread. They had to fight Naala off of him to get the in house doctor to see to him.

"You're gonna burn a hole in the floor," Gregory joked as Naala paced up and down.

"What have I done?" Naala muttered stopping with her hand on her head.

"Hey hey hey," Gregory said catching her before she broke down into tears.

"This isn't me," Naala cried. "I don't kill people, I don't hurt anyone. I would never hurt him, I love him. I don't cheat," She said looking up at Gregory. "I don't even know who I am anymore,"

"Shh it's okay," Gregory said soothingly. Naala shook her head and stepped out of his embrace.

"This is wrong," She pointed between them. "What the hell is wrong with me?" Naala asked herself running her hands through her hair.

Naleli came out of the room, a defeated look on her face. She wanted him to die, she specifically told Connor to make sure he died. Dave was a distraction, one that was going to cost Naala a lot.

"He's alive," Naleli mumbled causing Naala to sigh in relief. "I don't think he remembers much so don't go blabbing," She warned Naala.

Naala ignored her, rushing past and straight into the room. It was basically a bedroom that was stocked up with every medical thing one could think of.

"Hey," Naala said softly walking to his side. Dave opened his eyes and groaned, touching his chest where the bullet penetrated.

"Stop crying I'm here," He said wiping her face. That made her cry more, she was the reason he was in pain right now.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean —"

"I know you didn't baby, it was my fault. I let her into our home," Dave replied holding onto Naala's hand tightly.

He really didn't remember anything and therefore did not remember that it was Naala that he saw before he was shot.

"I was acting out because you were never around. I don't want anybody else but you Love," Dave continued, ignoring the burning feeling in his chest. Naala stayed quiet, rubbing his hand. Could she really be mad when she cheated too?

"You're in pain?" Naala asked as Dave clenched his jaw and his tightness around her hand. He nodded and she proceeded to call for someone.

"You're not gonna say anything?" Dave asked her. He noticed how quiet she was being, which was unusual for her.

"I'm just glad you're alive," Naala admitted. "I need you, our kids - they wouldn't survive without you. I should have known that,"

"You can't blame yourself for this Naala," He added while reaching up to trace her lips with his finger.

"Trust me I can," Naala muttered. The doctor walked in and Naala stepped back letting him do his thing. Her second phone rang in her purse that she didn't realise she was still carrying. Naala silenced it and put her attention back on Dave.

The phone rang again, immediately after. Naala reached to silence it again before Dave spoke up,

"Go, I'll be good here," He reassured her. Naala bit her lip in contemplation.

"I don't want to leave you," Naala said truthfully, her ideal night would to be laid up with him right now, nowhere else.

"I don't think you have a choice." Dave responded. "I'm not going anywhere, you can come back," He convinced her.

"Okay," Naala breathed out, she walked back towards him and leaned down pecking his lips.

"I love you," Dave said kissing her again, this time deepening it.

"Easy on boss lady," The doctor joked making them pull apart. Naala laughed and pecked his lips twice more before standing up straight.

"I'm telling you there's two of them," Tommie stressed to her brother.

Blaze smacked his teeth, "Man Tommie shut up," He said waving her off.

"There was two of them Blaze, twins," Tommie repeated still shell shocked. "They looked exactly alike, they even spoke alike,"

"How did you see them?" Blaze questioned her. "Ion believe you. I would know if they're were twins,"

"Well they were, they clearly have been keeping it quiet. That gives us extra work," Tommie complained. Blaze nodded and blew smoke out his mouth.

"Has he fucked you yet?" Blaze said bluntly.

"No," Tommie pouted. "Every time we're close he talks about his wife. That's all he talks about,"

"Pussy ass nigga," Blaze shook his head. "You need to step up your game then,"

"I find out where their kids are too," Tommie reported. "He said something about Jamaica," Dave wasn't as dumb as some may think. His kid's safety was very important to him, he would never disclose their location to anyone.

"That nigga is giving us everything we need," Blaze smirked. "Now we focus on her,"

"Oh my God," Naala's eyes widened at the look of the place. They were in one of their main traps in Brooklyn and there wasn't a live person in site. The place stank of rotting bodies nauseating Naala.

"This was obviously a threat," Naleli said walking over the dead bodies.

"How did they know we were here?" Naala responded holding her hand over her nose.

"Rats," Naleli said simply. "This has to be the Parkers, I thought we were at least 5 steps ahead,"

"They know too much about us Leli, we're doing something wrong," Naala said picking up the note on the floor. "Look, they're taunting us,"'

"What do you want me to do Naala? You've been too busy trying to kill your husband," Naleli replied rudely.

"Don't put it all on me," Naala said back to her. "Maybe if you put as much effort into this as you did sleeping with different women things would be different,"

"Fuck you Naala," Naleli spat. "You sort this out yourself then," She said walking out.

"Trust me I will," Naala called over her shoulder. She opened her purse and pulled out her phone dialling their clean up crew's number.

"Don't take it out on your sister," Tarek mumbled to a furious Naleli. She was sat in the back of her car still fuming from her conversation with Naala.

"She doesn't get it, she thinks this is a joke," Naleli complained sitting back in her seat.

"How? She has more to lose," Tarek said honestly. He knew Naleli couldn't be that angry at Naala, there had to be something else bothering her.

"She does have more to lose but she's hung up on who he's fucking." Naleli said looking out of the window.

"What's the real issue here Naleli?" Tarek asked lowly, "You know you don't care about it this much,"

"I care about her." Naleli admitted. "As much as I hate to say it, I care about my sister. And she's ruining her life,"

"Then tell her that, learn how to communicate better," Tarek said getting comfortable in his seat. Naleli looked over and bit her lip,

"I know how to communicate," Naleli said defensively.

"You know how to close up," Tarek corrected. "Show her the side of Naleli that only I get," He said softly looking over at her.

Naleli took time to take in his features. His dark brown eyes stared into hers. He licked his lips and looked her up and down,

"I wanna sit on your face," She said bluntly, "You look good and I want to sit on your face "

"Leli," Tarek laughed. "Go back in there and apologise to your sister," Naleli ignored him and straddled his waist.

"Am I making you uncomfortable?" She fluttered her eyelashes at him. Tarek adjusted himself under her trying to avoid eye contact. He did not mix business with pleasure at all but Naleli was tempting.

"Tell me to stop," Naleli whispered in his ear as she trailed her tongue up and down behind his ear. Tarek's hands went straight to her waist.

"Leli," Tarek warned as she started to grind on him. "We don't need to be doing this no more,"

"Because of your girlfriend?" Naleli questioned with an attitude. She took her head out of his neck and looked at him.

"We don't need to be doing this no more," Tarek repeated making Naleli got off him.

"Get out," She said sitting back in her seat. Tarek sucked his teeth and shook his head. Getting out of the car, he made sure to slam the door.

Naleli knew what had to happen now, if she couldn't have him then no one could.

"Hey boss lady," The hairstylist smiled as Naala strutted into her brand new hair salon. "I didn't think who would come in because of you know ..." She trailed off.

Naala stopped in her tracks, "Do I pay you to think?" Naala said blankly hearing a snigger from Naleli beside her. "I didn't think so, do the hair you're paid to do,"

"Sorry," The girl mumbled focusing back on the head in front of her.

"Boss lady?" Trinity mumbled to herself in the chair. Naala was already in her office and did not realise that it was Trinity sat in the chair.

"Yeah, she's the boss," Priya the hairstylist said brushing Trinity's hair out. "You know her?"

"I know of her, I used to date her man," Trinity spilled, she didn't care for anyone to know her business.

"Really?" Priya gasped. "I can't wait to tell the girls. Boss never talks about her husband," Priya was the only stylist in the shop today, that's why it was perfect for Naala to bring the money in.

"Are you over your little attitude?" Naala asked Naleli as she started separating the stacks into piles.

"Shut up," Naleli yawned taking a seat. "How's your cheater?"

Naala straight faced her, "He's fine and don't be mean,"

"Has he figured out that you were his attempted murderer?"

"Naleli can you stop." Naala said softly her eyes watering. Naleli raised a brow, the Naala she knew did not cry, at all.

"You're crying," Naleli cringed. "Why are you crying?" She turned her head so she wouldn't see Naala's tears.

"I don't know," Naala sniffed. "I just wanna cry okay? You can leave if I'm making you uncomfortable," She snapped.

"Okay," Naleli nodded. Tarek's words swam around her head, Naala was her sister and she should open up to her but Naleli didn't do sisters.

"Can I sit here? I mean can I sit here whilst you cry," Naleli asked crossing her legs. Naala wiped her eyes and shrugged.

"Why? So you can laugh at me?" Naala said, tears still running down her face.

"No, so I can be here with you," Naleli responded quietly. "I don't like crying but you're - you're - you're my sis - - my Naala," Naleli stumbled over her words, her cheeks flushing red in embarrassment.

Naala pouted and put her hands over her face. "You said I'm your sister," Naleli frowned and huffed,

"I said Naala," Naleli interjected. Naala smiled and stood up, taking a seat beside Naleli.

"Can I hug you?" She whispered bumping Naleli's shoulder. Naleli grimaced,

"You have 5 seconds," She responded, letting Naala throw her arms around her and hug her tightly. Naleli patted her back awkwardly, she was accustomed to physical contact unless during sex.

Thinking back to what her therapist suggested Naleli cleared her throat, "Do you want to talk about your feelings?" She asked Naala quietly.

"Yes but you'll tell me to shut up," Naala responded still holding onto her.

Naleli stifled a laugh, that was true. Anytime Naala tried to be sentimental, she told her to stop talking.

"But you're crying so you clearly have a lot of feelings right now," Naleli said, the word feelings leaving a sour taste on her tongue.

"Okay," Naala nodded. "I'm angry at myself for what I did with Gregory, I would never cheat on Amir but I did and I hate myself for it. I also miss my babies but this war thing makes it hard to see them." Naala vented.

Naleli nodded, another thing her therapist taught her - to act engaged.

"We can fly out to see them, for a night," Naleli suggested, being nice. Naala looked up at her and smiled through her tears.

"You would come with me?" Naala said tearfully. Naleli looked down at her and then away from her eyes quickly.

"Isn't that what sisters do? I'm new to this," Naleli mumbled. Naala hugged her again and sat up,

"Yes that's what sisters do," Naala chuckled. "You're really weird Leli but it's cute,"

Naleli blinked at her, contemplating whether or not she should disclose this information with Naala.

After a few minutes of silence, Naala got back up and went back over to the money, resuming her counting. Naleli played with her phone, awkwardly.

"I don't know how to express myself," Naleli started. Naala stopped what she was doing and gave her full attention. "Things like feelings make me awkward, so don't take it as if I don't care,"

"I understand," Naala replied nicely. It didn't take a rocket scientist to know that Naleli wasn't a people's person like Naala.

"I'm autistic," Naleli said looking at Naala. "So I don't do emotions and feelings, it's weird to me," At this point Naleli felt like she was rambling so she inwardly kicked herself for talking too much.

"Wow," Naala replied speechless, "If it makes you feel any better, my daughter is autistic,"

"It doesn't," Naleli said bluntly. "I don't care about your children,"

"Leli that's not caring about people's feelings," Naala pointed out, putting the money down.

"But it's the truth," Naleli argued. "I care about you not them," She continued.

"Yeah but you don't have to tell me that. I care about them so when you say things like that it's hurtful," Naala explained to her sister.

"Right," Naleli nodded. "So I shouldn't tell you that I don't care?" Naala nodded and continued counting.

"That's not nice to hear, you could just not say anything," Naala replied.

"Okay that helps," Naleli mumbled. "Can I tell you that I fantasise about fucking your husband?" She tilted her head.

Naala snapped her head towards her, "No you can't say that Naleli! That's disgusting," Naala said scrunching up her face.

"I was joking," Naleli said with the straightest face possible. Now that she had to Naala about her autism, it began to make sense. Naleli barely made any facial expressions and was always sarcastic. Her eye contact was terrible and she spoke what she thinking no matter who it would hurt.

"That's not a joke," Naala muttered, she was over this conversation now.

"Not being funny sis but no one wants his hot dick ass," Naleli said picking under her nails.

"Yeah get out," Naala pointed to the door. "You're distracting me,"

"I'm not leaving without you. I don't have a car," Naleli said getting comfortable in the seat and resting her head back.

"Then stop talking to me," Naala ordered. Naleli didn't reply and closed her eyes to sleep.

When Naala was done counting, she shook her head and sighed. "Someone is still stealing from us,"

That woke Naleli up, "How much is gone?" She asked her voice croaky.

"We were meant to have 80k, this is 65," Naala said pointing to the money. "I just killed Dre 3 days ago so who is it now?"

"He must have been working with someone," Naleli concluded. "My trigger finger is itching so bad." Naleli had plans, big ones. She was gonna start making heads roll until someone told her what was going on.

"We've got to move Princess," Gregory said from outside the door.

"Let's go," Naala said packing the money in the safe and locking it. The twins walked out of the office and through the salon,

"Bye boss," Priya fake waved. Naala rolled her eyes, Priya wasn't gonna be there the next time Naala came, that was for sure.

The guards outside the salon stood to attention and Gregory opened the door for the girls.

"Thank you —" Naala was cut off by a bullet piercing through the guards head, blood splattering onto Naala immediately. Gunshots started popping off as the twins scrambled into the car.

"What the fuck?" Naleli roared as she held her sister in the car. The bullets were ricocheting of the armoured car.

"Naala calm down, they can't get in," Naleli said to her screaming sister. The men started shooting back relentlessly, as the girls stayed down in the car.

"How do they always know where we are?" Naala questioned in fear. The bullets carried on hitting the car, so Naleli sat up.

"Shit, Naala I'm gonna have to go up there and drive," She said looking at the driver bleeding out on the floor.

"No you can't," Naala rushed out holding onto Naleli, the sound of shots still filling the air.

"If I don't we'll die, do you want to die?" Naleli asked pulling Naala's hands off her.

"No Leli," Naala said tearfully. Her breathing started to get shallow and her panic attack started to kick in.

Naleli took a breath, and did something she would never do again.
