Little! Tubbo
Cg! None
Others! Ranboo (mentioned but not there)
THIS IS ALL PLATONIC AND FRIENDSHIP BASED
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The cool night air hit tubbos skin, soothing the boy as he had just come home from work. It wasnt the best, but it paid well for a first job. Walking through the front door, the tired and irritated feeling could be seen in tubbos eyes. Though what surprised him was his mother was standing there, waiting for him with a sad gaze. It looked as though she had been crying. Once she had seen tubbo, she immediately rushed over, wrapping her arms around him in a hug.
"Honey, you need to call your friend wilbur"
Confused, tubbo slowly got himself out of his mother's arms, not wanting to deal with much at that moment. Though he knew it had to have been important, so he decided to do it. Reaching his room, he clicked on wilburs contact, immediately clicking the call button and placing the phone to his ear.
After two rings Wilbur immediately picked up "hey.." wilbur said quietly, his voice shaking with nerves. Tubbo rubbed his eye with his fist, wanting to know what wilbur needed. "Yeah? Why do you need to call me?" Tubbo asked, not quite noticing the tone Wilbur was giving him. "Tubbo, ranboo tried to kill himself after school today."
There was dead silence on both ends, tubbos heartbeat quickened. His breathing labored as his brain tried to process what the fuck was just said. "What?" Was all he could manage to get out, his hands trembled and tubbos surroundings began to seem as though they were far away. Looking down at his hands they didnt seem like his, tubbo didnt know what was happening, but he wanted it to end. "Tubbo? Are you alright?" Wilbur asked, clearly concerned.
"..thanks for telling me Wilbur, i have to go now. Ill call you later" tubbo said, his voice monotone and flat. Before Wilbur could protest, tubbo hung up. Throwing his phone at the wall, tubbo collapsed onto the ground. Screaming as tears streamed down his cheeks, no one tried to comfort tubbo. Knowing he needed to let it out, nothing would stop him.
He threw clothes on the floor, punched the wall until the plaster began to split and crumble apart, he eventually fell to the floor, gagging from how violently he was sobbing.
Ranboo was his best friend, they talked everyday, they played games together, hell they even sent each other Christmas gifts. Tubbo would go as far as to say ranboo was his brother. He didnt even know if he was alive now, mentally cussing at himself, tubbo knew he should have asked Wilbur that.
Staying on the floor, tubbos brain began to panic at the intense emotions. Making it begin to force tubbo to involuntarily regress, it felt like his world was crumbling beneath him. Nothing felt real, not even his body felt real. He didnt understand what was happing or why it was happening. Hiccuping, tubbo sat himself up, slowly shuffling himself onto his bed. The house was deadly silent, no one dared to try and talk to the boy, not when it felt like he's just been stabbed.
Flashbacks of the memories he and ranboo shared began to flash into his mind rapidly. From when they first met, to when they first became really close friends. Memories of discord calls and video game sessions ran like a blur through tubbos mind. All he could think was why.
Why
Why
Why
Why
Why
Why
Why
Tubbo didn't understand, he didnt have too but he wanted to. He never caught on, he never paid to much attention anyhow but he thought he'd at least notice something.
The soft fur of a nearby stuffed animal reached the hands of tubbo. Who clinged onto it like it would disappear if he didn't. Sniffling and crying once more, he couldn't help but start to mumble to himself.
'Ranboo no go'
'Ranboo dont leave'
'Best friends forever'
'No leave no leave no leave'
'No leave'
'No leave'
'No leave'
Tubbo couldn't handle it, he couldnt handle how much it hurt. Closing his eyes, he wished he could go back a few days. Maybe skip work, just to tell ranboo how great he was, how he makes everyone happy and how everyone loved him, cared about him, would do anything for him.
Closing his eyes, tubbo felt unbearably tired. Wishing this was all a dream, tubbo gladly accepted sleep. His body finally relaxing, tubbo dreamt of better times, dreamt of ranboo and him back then. Playing games, talking for hours about everything and nothing, doing horrid stand up comedy, even falling asleep together.
Despite knowing that he should wait until tubbo is alright to talk to him. Wilbur sent tubbo a message, a short paragraph that would make tubbo leap for joy.
'Toby, ranboo is okay. They have him hooked on ivs. He's going to be okay, i promise. He's awake and watching tv, ranboo is okay.'
The Werewolf Cheerleader
Being a cheerleader is easier than being a werewolf. Jessica Tumbleleague is a typical teenage girl who loves being a cheerleader at Moondale High. But after an encounter with a werewolf in the woods, Jessica discovers a frightening world she never thought is real. Dangerous magic, deadly fierce spirits, and other malevolent creatures. Now Jessica must fight the forces of darkness to protect her hometown while balancing her supernatural life with her high school life. But can she control the beast within herself? Note: This is a rewrite of the original with the same name. I decided to change the third-person style to first-person because I liked Jessica's voice better. She is funny and very strong. With the story only focusing on her, I can keep the mystery suspenseful and the reader can experience what Jessica is experiencing. It is a typical YA style, but it is fun to write as your main character. There are changes, but the first and second books will be similar to the third-person chapters. Let me know what you think and I hope you will enjoy this new version of the Werewolf Cheerleader. I will post the chapters every Friday in the afternoon. P.S, there is a Werewolf Cheerleader short story published in the Tales of Dungeons, All Hallows book. Titled The Werewolf Cheerleader: Castle and Ghouls. The short is also in first-person, which made me decide to change the book series into first-person. The link is below if you want to check it out. https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B08MCS82R5
