After they finish the case at the Frozen Hotel, things change, a lot, through the years.

Lin and Madoka end up having been married before Lin and Naru had returned to Japan. They end up having a few kids. Also, Madoka ends up going on cases with them somtimes.

Mai and Yasuhara get married four years after they all moved to England, the first ones to get married after that oddly. Mai ends up having to stay home with Yasuhara during most cases, and just ends up helping with studying, which is not her strong suit. The reason she has to stay, through 11 years of marriage, they have 10 kids. Seriously, they need to just be separated from each other.

Monk and Ayako end up married and have two kids. However, even though they are married, Ayako still hits Monk with her purse whenever he does something wrong. Sometimes she actually ends up having a brick in it.

John ends up leaving the priesthood and marries Masako. They end up having a few kids, and John mostly stays home with the kids, taking care of them.

Now to the two main characters of our story.

Naru and (Y/N) start dating, and anytime they are doing a case, Naru is extremely protective of (Y/N). He never gets used to spirits always targeting her. He will sometimes try to convince her to go home and let everyone else deal with things. She typically ends up staying, just by giving him some puppy eyes and asking him to let her stay. The only times it doesn't work is when she has already been badly injured.

They end up getting married seven years after Naru admitted he loves (Y/N). They have six kids through their life, and they end up having 28 grandkids. Most of their family ends up having special abilities, so they are the teachers of special abilities.

Naru changed the most out of everyone. He is kinder and more open. He loves his entire family and as he gets older, he spoils his grand kids. After his parents had died he thought he would struggle, but then he got some comfort from them through his wife. He loves (Y/N) more than anyone could have imagined.

All the couples live happy lives together, never losing any of their friendships.
