Hyewon had finally settled into Hara's lovely home along with Soojin. She kept the paper bags from the stores she brought to her backpack, not wanting any ruckus and teasing from her new friends.
They have gone to her house earlier and honestly, she could've dropped all of it to her apartment. but the other two were very eager and rushed her to get everything she needed for the sleepover.
Soojin threw a mist bottle to the bed where Hara and Hyewon lay. Hara was the first one to check, spraying it to herself and to Hyewon who just chuckled at her friend's antics.
Soojin heaved a very heavy sigh, exaggeratedly putting her phone up and embracing it.
The two ignored their dramatic friend and focused on picking a movie to watch. The bowl of popcorn they had prepared to munch on throughout the movie they'll be watching was already half empty, a result caused by hara.
Hara exclaimed before taking another piece to her mouth. Soojin questioned with a suspicious voice, grinning to her phone as if she had just seen something interesting;

And it was indeed interesting.
Soojin exclaimed as Hara laughed at Hyewon's reaction. Her face looked like a mix of betrayed, flustered, and embarrassed. Hara teased. Soojin gasped, faking to shed a tear.
Hara shook her friend's body aggressively and to her relief, Hyewon denied it, though a blush was evident on her cheeks.
Hyewon tell-tales.

Hyewon looked like a convict trying to explain herself to the court office as she tried not to give any cues for her two friends to get suspicious over nothing.
Hyewon tried to explain but the two only laughed at her. The both of them yelled.

Hyewon tried to argue back, but after 30 minutes, the aftermath was that both of her friends are now checking the newly bought perfume, the hoodie, and the pictures Hyewon took with jake.
Soojin stated as she showed Hyewon the picture she took where she was patting Jake's head, the boy taking a quick nap as Hyewon was supposedly answering the questions he made.

Hyewon cluelessly asked.
Hyewon scowls even at the mere thought of Sunghoon's existence.

Hara explains.
And Soojin added,
Soojin explained while Hyewon slowly nodded in acknowledgement.

Soojin looks at her phone's screen, analysing Jake's post in detail, like a detective on a case.
Hyewon uttered. She hesitated at first, contemplating her own thoughts. but she has already decided.

The rest of the sleepover was purely an interrogation regarding Hyewon's feelings, advice on scenarios the three of them imagined, gossip around Jake and his friends, and munching on late night snacks until the three eventually slept.
The sun rose again and the first one to wake up was Hyewon. She washed up and put on her uniform, soon waking the two up.

Soojin was the last one to finish getting ready and by using Hara's car, they drove off to their school. They dropped by the nearby convenience store and bought breakfast and drinks.
Soojin groaned as she tried hard to open her eyes. Hyewon gave her a peppermint citrus ointment and Soojin gladly took it.
They both sat on their respective seats, minding their own business. Then suddenly, Hyewon felt eyes on her. Uncomfortable, she looked around, only to see the one and only handsome-faced jerk, Park Sunghoon leaning by the door, sending daggers on her way using his cold glare.

Hyewon rolled her eyes and opened her notes, deciding to focus on studying instead of the gloomy guy by the classroom door.

Sunghoon came up to her and brushed her notebook off her table. Hyewon sarcastically remarked as she stood up and pushed Sunghoon out of the way, picking up all the fallen notes.
Sunghoon scoffs He talked back, chuckling in a satire way, leaning his hands at his waist.

Before Hyewon could even talk again, Sunghoon cut her off.
Sunghoon pathetically smiled.
I'm getting him out of your mess." Sunghoon spits his words out with a smirk before turning his back, he marches to his seat and ignores Hyewon's train of profanities.
Defeated, Hyewon teared up, but it's not just that...

Also, while this version of the story is meant to be fully readable, more dicerning readers may want to wait until I move out of rough draft phase. There may be some inconsistancies with character and plot while I am still in the rough draft phase. I'm sorry for this, but this is my first web novel and from what I've read the best way to get a good novel out is to write write write, and then edit ruthlessly after you're finished with the book, so that's the plan I'm going to follow. Again, this is a rough draft. Everything you are reading is subject to change, including the name, title, and cover photo. This may no longer be the case once I've decided I know where this fiction is going and I have a reasonable understanding of the characters and their behavior. You're reading what comes off my keyboard as it's made, with very limited editing. There will be mistakes in the text. I do a quick spell check to take out the worst of the errors, but there will be some I miss.
