《The Feral, Alpha K》TWENTY SEVEN

I moved my fork against the meat as I bit my lip anxiously. Everyone was eating and drinking happily as they spoke amongst each other. However, I couldn't enjoy my food from how terrible I felt about this situation.
I peeped glanced at Avery and Ezekiel who were seated in the corner with a few other wolves. They both ate quietly but the tension between the two was obvious to me.
Avery was still angry, I noticed faint bruises under his eye and on his jaw. Ezekiel tried to talk to Avery several times, but Avery just ignored him.
I cast a glance around the room and at the other people at my table. How could they all sit here comfortably as if a man hadn't been murdered right in front of their eyes nearly half an hour ago? Four men had entered and pulled his body out before a maid arrived and mopped his blood from the floor.
Dara cackled and laughed loudly as she joked about an old folklore tale, waving her arms back and forth. Xeon literally laughed a couple times, while Valnush laughed so hard she nearly screamed.
So many people were going to die. And I couldn't do anything to stop it.
I turned to glance up at Klaus to meet his eyes.
I whispered as I began to admire his face. I was trying to avoid looking at him because I knew that once I did this bond was going entrance me in its wicked spell.
His silky and perfectly waved hair fell in face a bit as he leaned down towards me. My eyes ran over his perfect dark eyebrows, alluring red eyes and dark lashes.
" His low and rich voice sent a shiver down my spine.
I said softly as I reached for my glass of water. I took a long sip before swallowing and placing it back down. I crossed my arms over my stomach as I sat quietely.
I glanced up at him only to notice he was still watching me. He ran his tongue over tip of his teeth before clearing his throat and leaning closer to my face.
His jaw clenched and his eyes lowered into a glare. He said in serious tone, I gaped up at him but internally knew he wasn't giving me a choice.
I rolled my eyes as I picked up the fork, pushed it into a chunk of meat, took a bite, and chewed it angrily. I almost moaned in happiness because the food tasted so wonderful, but I didn't want him to know. I asked, raising an eyebrow.

Instead of responding, he reached for a glass filled with some sort of dark liquor. My gaze was drawn to his Adams apple, which moved with each swallow. He drank as he watched me with a dark gaze.
I inquired as I continued to eat my dinner. I had zoned out and nearly devoured it all since it was so delicious.
His gaze swept down my body and then up to my parted lips. My cheeks heated up from his suggestive compliment. Enticing? He thinks I'm enticing.
I asked, peering up at him through my eyelashes. I could feel the bond's pull pleading with me to join in this cat-and-mouse game. A part of me was delighted by the way he looks at me with such intense hunger in his eyes.
He pulled his shoulders back before snatching up his glass and downing the rest of his drink all at once. I kept a tight eye on him as he leaned up close to my ear. I sucked in a breath when he laid his tone arm on the back of my chair, his fingers resting on my jaw. His other hand landed on my inner thigh, riding up the slit in my dress before grabbing my inner thigh. His fingers brushed against my lacy panties causing me to shudder.
His spoke smoothly deep sultry voice into the nape of my neck as continued to stroke his massive palm over my inner thigh.
I placed my palm on top of his, all I could do was blink in shock. His aroma was sending me into a frenzy, and I was resisting the impulse to get into his lap and be closer to him. He went on.
I whispered breathlessly. I needed air; I couldn't sit this closely to him right now. I whined as he began to kiss the side of my neck slowly, his tongue swiped against the sensitive skin of neck as his hand cupped between my legs rubbing me slowly.
Most people ignored us giving us a privacy out of respect while the others snook a few glances in our direction.
He replied as he ran his nose up my neck. I felt a hand grab my arm and pull lightly. Klaus and I both turned to see Avery standing in space between me and Dara. I was so caught up that I hadn't sensed him.
Avery spoke hastily while glaring angrily at Klaus. My throat nearly closed in fear in anticipation of Klaus's reaction.
I murmured to Klaus, who was staring at me. He stated calmly as he slowly removed his hand from my thighs before leaning back in his chair.

I fixed my dress before standing up. Avery and I walked towards the side doors to head towards the hallway. I glanced back to see Klaus and Xeon talking whilst still looking in our direction.
I wish I knew what the hell they were saying. Avery whisper-yelled as soon as we exited the doors.
I tried to explain but he cut me off.
He sneered as he walked towards me.
Realization washed over me now that I wasn't breathing in the aroma Klaus's scent. This mate bond had a hold on me, and fighting it was impossible.
I said quickly as shook my head.
His cold blue eyes glared at me in a such a way that tears spring to my eyes. I could tell he hated me.
I muttered as my lip wobbled.
He glared down at me as clenched his handcuffed hands into fist.
" I said quickly as I wiped the tears that began to fall.
He said coldly as I shivered from the truth of his words. He's right, I am a monster.
I pleaded desperately.
He said quietly as he came closer to me.
I could still fix this. I could do something right for once.
Avery said stared deeply into my watery eyes.
I quickly turned him down as I looked away from him.
He snapped back at me causing me to jump.
And suddenly I went rigged as everything began to make sense.
I said quieter as I began to hyperventilate, I was mortified, humiliated and embarrassed. I grabbed onto Avery's shirt in hysteria as I struggled to catch my breath. I felt like I was going to have a panic attack.
I was about to respond but suddenly the door was pushed open, and Klaus, Xeon and Ezekiel entered the hallway.
Ezekiel tried to reach for Avery, but he began to push his hands away as he called him every swear word he could think of and screamed out at him. I could barely focus as Ezekiel caught him though Avery was still fighting back. Everything was going wrong so fast.
Klaus fixed his gaze on me, his eyes filled with an unreadable intent. I could barely meet his gaze because I was hiccuping and crying. Suddenly, he began to phase into his beast form; his veins bulged, his fingers contorted into claws, and his piercing auburn eyes darkened into two black voids.
He stepped towards me but I shook my head and took steps backwards. I spat; I could feel the bond wrapping around us the closer he got to me. It was like poison. Trying to force me closer to this beast.
He growled in rage, within seconds he was in front of me before he pushed me into the wall and pressed his body into mine. I stared at his chest as shook like a leaf. He growled against my neck as he grabbed my jaw in a painful grip.
He snarled out as his demeanour seemed to become angrier with every passing second.
" I shot back as I thrashed around though it was useless. He pushed harder against me, I was trapped against the wall and his hard toned body.
He growled in rage as he forced my head up to meet his face. He flashed his fangs showing his enlarged teeth. I shiver ran down my spine when I stared into his black eyes. His veins were bulging even more, and he was beginning to shake.
Xeon suggested angrily as he kept a wary eye on Klaus. Xeon almost seemed concerned for me as he stared at Klaus, who appeared to be on the verge of snapping at any moment.
Klaus's voice had dropped a couple octaves, scaring the hell out of me, as well as Xeon, Avery, and Ezekiel. Ezekiel didn't think twice about leading Avery out, who was still straining to break out of his arms. Xeon gave me another troubled look before exiting through the same doors.
Klaus was still seething, low growls emitting from deep within him as he trapped me against him. I could tell that this was his inner beast; his dominance oozed out of him suffocating me.
" He asked slowly as tilted his head into my neck and began to inhale my scent. His hands moved to my waist holding me tightly with his large hands.
I stuttered as he swooped quickly into my neck and began to run his sharp teeth against my throat. I cried harder remembering how much pain his bite inflicts.
I became overwhelmed and unable to withstand the intensity of the situation; spots began to appear in my vision until everything went black. I felt myself go limp against him as everything faded.

Rebirth Of Civilization
Andrew suddenly finds himself alone in world that is not his own. The creatures are hostile and unfamiliar, the land around him unrecognizable. He will have to work hard to explore the wilderness he has found himself in, to unravel the ancient magics of this world, and to create a safe place for the others lost in a foreign world like himself. This is a slow paced novel, with an early focus on discovery, survival and crafting. The slow pace is intentional as I hope to write this novel for many many chapters to come. This is also the first fiction I've written and I'm always working on improving my writing so all feedack is appreciated and taken into account. Discord

From the intimate narrative of a childhood that was never her own, her year spent struggling to find the person she is rather than the person her family needs her to be, the secrets she hides, and the truths she finds, Halle discovers herself on the fabled island of Providence as her House collapses around her, bids to enter a legendary school of magic in her homeland of Auctor, and fights for a crown she never knew she wanted. A high-action, character-focused story written with a poet’s styling, The Harrowbird’s Crown is a tale that will transport readers into the conflict and conquest of a royal family back on the rise. General Information: This story is more traditionally plotted. While the beginning may seem to start out slowly, when shit hits the fan: the action is constant, the mysteries are satisfying, and the character development is rewarding. Teddy Bear
As it would stand, the truth of the matter was that aliens had visited Earth before. Roswell was neither a hoax nor unique. It was simply a consequence of a world growing smaller as communication systems became more and more advanced, partly a result of said visitations. For the most part, past interactions between one of the planet Earth's more intelligent species of lifeform and the alien visitors were along the lines of obscure scientific surveys and tests disturbingly similar to attempts by some human scientists to estimate the intelligence of simians. For any species capable of travelling the stars. Visiting planet Earth made about as much sense as backpacking through the Ural Mountains of Siberia with nothing but a flint and a compass. That is to say, most people would prefer to stay close to someplace within walking distance of a mall or a population density slightly higher than four sapient beings per parsec. Still, statistically speaking, there are bound to be some weirdos who find joy rides though a nowhere solar system fun. Just buzzing a frantic farmer or two and playing chicken with an F-16 for the heck of it. Maybe even bring home a bovine to show off to the guys at the office.
