《Reign of the Dragons》Interlude: The Royal Progress (part 4)

From what Helaena's Septa told her, she was supposed to be meek, obedient, and essentially "a mindless over glorified baby factory" as her mother sarcastically put.
But she was the daughter of Rhaella Targaryen—and she was not a sheep.
She was a dragon.
"Maybe you should have a dance teacher remind you where you put your hands." Helaena hissed to Ser Thomas Manderly when his hand drifted far to down her backside.
Thomas let her go and Baelon easily swept her into a dance.
"Do you want me to tell Dorian what just happened, or can I be the one who bashes his teeth in?" Baelon asked.
"I can handle it. But thank you for the idea." Helaena smiled brightly.
Thomas Manderly suffered a horse kicking him in the face the next day.
"Can I give you applause for dealing with your uncle, Lord Stark?" Daenaera inquired. "I'm impressed."
"Thank you, Your Grace." Cregan said. "I know longer needed a regent... but he didn't get the message."
"I do hope your prove yourself, Lord Stark. You have much promise." Rhaella said mildly.
"I hope to live to your expectations, Queen Rhaella." Cregan said firmly.
Aemon, Aelyx, Visenya, Viserra, Jocelyn, Rhaelon, and Rhaelle firmly enjoyed the snow and the snowball fights. Viserra became fond of the winter roses grown in Winterfell.
Alicent glared at the door as it swung open.
"Queen Rhaella Targaryen, Prince Dorian Targaryen, Prince of Dragonstone, Princess Daenaera Targaryen of House Velaryon, Princes Aemon Targaryen, Aelyx Targaryen, and Rhaelon Targaryen, Princesses Visenya Targaryen, Viserra Targaryen, and Rhaella Targaryen, and Lady Jocelyn Baratheon!" the announced declared.
The Blacks entered the Throne Room, bowing while Rhaella walked up to her seat.
Alicent fumed silently as the lords gave the Sky Queen more respect than her!
It was never suppose to be like this. Alicent sulked. She was suppose to be Queen, to have the respect of great lords and ladies, for her blood to sit on the Iron Throne.
Now, her sons had little respect, Helaena refused to acknowledge her as her mother, and the Blacks were growing stronger every day.
But Aegon will sit on the Iron Throne. Even if it is the last thing I do.

Time, and Time Again.
A dying game developer suffering from crippling depression decides to save himself from his own fate, and in turn, open a path for a new, more worthwhile life within the game. Within the game world, he'll have to avoid being 'flagged' by the game world's emotionless AI, befriend the players, escape NPC power struggles, and survive countless near-death experiences...All while forging himself into a new person. -------------- Time, and time again features a weak-to-strong MC who will eventually obtain nearly godlike strength, a heavy dose of character development, moderate LITRPG elements, and a whole lotta' adventure. The story is mainly focused around the MC but contains recurring side characters, mysterious and powerful figures, handfuls of intrigue, and well thought out action plots. Thanks for reading! -PyritePlunder

For as long as history has been recorded, the scrolls have held power over all life on the continent. When a blight was forthcoming, the scrolls foretold it. When dangerous beasts reared their faces in civilised society, the scrolls chose the bravest and brightest to defend our way of life. It is only fair, then, that the scrolls would guide our brave adventurers through every step they should take upon \The Path/. Take heart, you intrepid four, for your scroll within your grasp connects you to the will of the world itself. Follow where it leads, and you will find your path to greatness. -Prefect Chelbun; The Initiated's Guide to Adventure Solomon always took the words of his scroll to heart. Where the scroll led, he would have his team follow. Any doubts his team may have were always dashed away by the words scrawled upon that ethereal parchment. Were that ever to fail, swift dicipline would bring his team in line. When the scroll told him to take his first retirement early, he was more than willing to return home and spend the next five years in comfort. It's such a shame, then, that Solomon's team had other plans for him. Clive was never was a fan of the rules, but he still played his part. Despite this, every moment was spent seeing how far he could strech things before he was broken back into line. Now that he was 'retired', however, he had much more room to stretch himself. Now he's got a plan, one that might just make the rules bend his way, for once. Meanwhile, some intrepid new adventurers are ready to make a name for themselves. Fresh off their initiation, they've already received their first quest, their first tale to tell around the hearth. Chances are good, however, that this story is beyond anything they were expecting. On a journey through uncharted territory, laberinthine cities, and conspiracies older than time itself, only one thing is certain. Whatever comes their way, it's sure to be an amusing tale.
