Rhaella herself served as Mistress of Dragons–in charge of the care, training, and health of the dragons.

Ser Harwin Strong served as the new Commander of the City Watch after Daemon retired.

For Grand Maester, it was Maester Gerardys. Rhaella's personal Maester proved himself well.

Corlys Velaryon had been Master of Ships, before retiring the position to his cousin, Vaemond Velaryon.

And Ser Steffon Darklyn was the Lord Commander. Alicent suggested Criston Cole, a firm Green, but Steffon had been chosen instead.

"A royal progress?" Viserys said.

"It would be good for me to go out again on a royal progress. I only visited the Vale, Stormlands, and the Riverlands last time. I could do a full tour of the realm this time, with Daenaera, Rhaenyra, Laenor, and my mother. Princess Rhaenys can serve as Mistress of Dragons while mother is on the progress with me." Dorian said.

"That is a good idea."

"Can we afford it?" Lyonel inquired.

"I intend to keep it small." Dorian said firmly. "I do not need to go all out and strain the castles I visit."

"If it is small, we can afford it. With our careful investments, we have plenty of money—we can spend hundreds every day for the next decade and make only a dent." Tyland said.

"Princess Helaena and Princess Baelon won't be able to make it, since Princess Helaena is near her due date. Princess Emilia is also pregnant, so Prince Aegon must stay with his wife." the Mistress of Whispers added.

"Very well then, son. I give my permission." Viserys nodded. "Baelon and Helaena can join you on a later date."

"Thank you, father." Dorian nodded.
