Elder Gu was sitting on the bed and reading a book. He wore spectacles, which made his old face look more elegant. A nurse was checking his Blood pressure. After that, she closed the equipment and wrote something in a notepad. Then she left the room without saying anything. Elder Gu didn't say anything either.

After she left, the door opened once again. A middle aged person entered the room. Though he was in his 50's he looked much younger compared to his age. He walked towards elder Gu.

"It's been a while, Elder Gu." The person said.

Elder Gu, who was immersed in the book, heard the familiar yet unfamiliar voice. He looked towards the stranger.

"It's really been a while Shen Yan." Elder Gu said. He closed the book and took off his spectacles.

"I am sorry for not visiting you all this year." Director Shen said bowing his head.

"Well, I can't blame you for that. With your nature, I thought I won't be able to meet you till my death." Elder Gu said, motioning his hand towards the couch, asking Director Shen to sit.

Director Shen sat on the couch.

"So, when did you return." Elder Gu asked curiously.

"It's been a while, well even if you are in the hospital I am sure you already know how I came back.." Director Shen said with a smirk.

"Hahahaha" Elder Gu laughed. "Well my grandson is extremely capable. Don't you think so.." He asked provocatively.

"Well, he is somewhat capable and It is just the beginning. Now that I am here, I want to see how he changes the future of the Gu group." Director Shen Grumpled.

Though director Shen, who was in business for many years can clearly see how capable Gu Weicheng is, still he didn't want to admit it directly.

Elder Gu smirked seeing how stubborn this junior is.

These few days, he got a lot of surprising news. From how his grandson made a bet with this person to how he won the bet, making this person loyal to him. "I didn't think so.." A voice came from the door.

"You didn't see half of my brother's capability, Uncle Shen." Gu Xiaochen walked towards them. His butler only stood outside. He walked towards the bedside table with a flask and put it on top of it.

"Oh.." Director Shen looked towards Xiaochen.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to eve's drop." Xiaochen said apologetically. Director Shen smiled, gesturing that it's okay.

"Well. I agree." Elder Gu suddenly said.

"Weicheng is more capable than my son."

Director Shen Flinched. He was surprised to hear Elder Gu's words.

"Well. You shouldn't have this much overconfidence in your grandson." He said mockingly.

"Well. You will understand what I am saying in the future." Elder Gu said.

Though he isn't fully convinced, still he has to admit how easily Gu Weicheng handled the matter with those executives. But, that proves nothing. Maybe Weicheng already made arrangements about it over the years. Still he will trust and go with the flow.

Even so, Shen knew how strict Elder Gu is when it came to the Gu group. So elder Gu won't say something without any reason.

'So I will see how capable you are, Gu Weicheng.' Director Shen smiled.

Today is the first day Gu Weicheng officially visited the Gu group as the President. Even after coming back, he didn't take the position of CEO from Xiaochen, making many people frown. When Weicheng entered the office with Xiaochen and Shen Yan (Director Shen), everyone was surprised, feeling the aura emitted from this person.

He was completely different from what they thought of a young entrepreneur. He had an aura of an emperor who returned from the battlefield after cruelly killing his enemy which instantly made everyone nervous. They didn't have the courage to look towards Gu Weicheng. Even after Gu Weicheng disappeared from their sight, they were nervous.

Even without releasing his pheromone of dominant alpha, Gu Weicheng made all the employees who saw him feel fear. With only his presence, he made them unable to question him.

It somewhat impressed Vice President Shen. Though he didn't say anything. But on the other hand, Xiaochen was happy, like a silly child he was smiling. After organising everything. Vice President Shen went to the hospital to see Elder Gu followed by Xiaochen, who wanted to deliver a meal to Elder Gu.

"So any results in the investigation." Gu Weicheng was talking on the phone.

Secretary Wu on the other end said,

"Yes sir. You were right. 5 years ago, that wasn't an ordinary accident."

Hearing these words made Gu Weicheng's expression less face and more cold. He clenched his fist.

'So that really wasn't a dream.' He gritted his teeth.

"Continue." His cold voice went through the phone making secretary Wu shudder.

"Yes sir." Secretary Wu gulped and began to speak.
