The meeting room was extremely tense. All the old executives who were forced to leave the Gu group were present.

They reached the Gu group meeting room early in the morning. It was arranged by Xiaochen. So nobody knew about this meeting except them.

They all sat on the seat with high expectation.

They heard the news of young master Gu's return, from Xiaochen.

Though they couldn't completely believe the news, they still trusted Gu Xiaochen and came. They knew Xiaochen would never lie about his brother, so they arrived on time to meet Weicheng.

Even after they left, they secretly tried to help Gu group. But in front of He group and Executive park, they were completely defeated.

In the end they lost all hope. And was ready to give up.But now they felt there is still a chance and Gu group can regain its fame.

They all know how capable First young master Gu was. Before the accident, he worked in the Gu group for 3 years. In those years, the development of the Gu group was so fast that it scared many of their rival companies .

Now they are waiting here. Nobody had the guts to speak. Some of them were scared to even make a sound, but still waiting with anticipation. They were the trusted people of the Gu group. But was unable to help the Gu group because they were suppressed.

The door of the meeting room suddenly opened. But the person who came in wasn't the one they thought would be. But instead it was Gu Xiaochen. Gu Xiaochen walked in and sat down on the seat next to the head seat of the round table.

Lan MengXi looked at Gu Xiaochen with complicated eye's. He was one of the seniors who worked for the Gu group for many years. He entered the Gu group when he was young and worked under Elder Gu, then followed Mr and Mrs. Gu until the accident. He was also able to work with Gu Weicheng though it was only for a few times. Still that young man never forgets to surprise him. Intelligence to look , everything this youngster possessed was enviable for others. But He felt proud for working with him and also jealous of Elder Gu for having this extremely capable heir.

If Gu Weicheng really comes back, he doesn't know how to face them. When Gu group faced a problem, he was unable to help Gu group. He fell on the trap of Executive park, and was forced to leave.

He always felt guilty for underestimating Executive Park's greed. Though he somewhat knew the shaddy work executive park did behind Mr.Gu's back. Still he closed his eyes believing that Executive Park was loyal to the Gu group. That was the biggest mistake of his life. If He realised it earlier, he would have tried to stop everything.

"Master Gu?" One of the youngest executives asked.

Gu Xiaochen smiled just like always.

"He will be here in a minute." He said grinning.

"He needed to do something, "

Lan MengXi clenched his hands. After the accident 5 years ago, this was the first time he felt this excitement.

"Well with Young master Gu's return. Gu group still has a way to survive." One of them said,

"We can't say that for sure. With the current condition of the Gu group. I don't think it will be easy for young master Gu to revive the Gu group." It was voice of one of the seniors present in the group, Mr. Shen.

"Oh." Gu Xiaochen narrowed his eyes.

"So are you saying that, even if my brother came back. Gu group won't be able to survive." He said it with his usual cold smile.

"Well, Even if young master Gu is a dominant Alpha. The current condition of the Gu group can't be handled without having any experience." Mr. Shen continued.

"Even though Youngmaster Gu worked in Gu Group before. He is still young. And can't understand the business world without having much experience. It can only be handled by someone who is capable and is not something a child can do."

Executive Shen was one of the eldest and most loyal among the people present. He worked in the overseas branch of the Gu group. So he didn't know much about Weicheng. He heard of it from master. But still he never believes something without seeing it for himself.

Mr.Lan and other executives, who worked with him, looked at each other.

Director Shen is a person with extreme temperament and a righteous and stubborn personality. He worked for Gu group for years and was one of the right hand person of Mr.Gu. Gu group forign branches were safe under his eyes.

He wasn't loyal to the Gu group but was only loyal to Mr.Gu that he wouldn't even listen to the orders given by others including elder Gu.

Even though he is a beta, he was much more intelligent and capable compared to his other subordinates. So Mr.Gu valued him very much. And Mr.Shen respected and Worshipped Mr Gu, giving his whole loyalty to him.

The death of Mr.Gu had a big impact on him that gave his enemy an opportunity for attack. Unlike others, kicking Mr.Shen out was very difficult. In other words it can be said he voluntarily left the Gu group because he didn't want to work for others and disappeared from country M.

Nobody knew about his whereabouts. So it was difficult for Gu Xiaochen to find him. But when Gu Weicheng returned, Xiaochen found him with the help of secretary Wu and persuaded him to return to the Gu group. Mr.Shen was ready to attend on one condition that, if the meeting was unsatisfactory he would not stay even for a moment.

"Why do you think so Uncle Shen?" A magnetic voice echoed in the room.

Everyone including Gu Xiaochen looked towards the door. Xiaochen's smile widened, not the fake smile but the real one. He looked at the familiar figure standing in front of the door.

"Brother." Gu Xiaochen stood up from the seat followed by all the people sitting around the table. They all stood up without even realising, including Lan MengXi and Mr.Shen They saw the face of the person who they thought dead. They all even forgot what they wanted to say.

Gu Weicheng nonchantly walked towards Xiaochen followed by secretary Wu.

His every step echoed in the meeting room and hammered the heart of everyone present.

He stood in front of Xiaochen.

"Did I arrive late?" He asked Xiaochen.

"No. You are on time." Xiaochen smiled.

Gu Weicheng patted Xiaochen's head as always. After arriving in this world, patting Xiaochen became his hobby.

Everyone in the room looked at the interaction between two brothers in daze. Those who knew Xiaochen and Weicheng like Lan MengXi looked at the scene that they were familiar with. And felt warm in their hearts.

"Now then, should we start the meeting." Weicheng said looking towards the executives. For some reason everyone present felt nervous facing this person.

"Yes." Gu Xiaochen said. "You should sit. showing the Chair in the middle, which was empty for all these five years.

Though Xiaochen worked in the Gu group for these years, he never sat on that seat and also didn't allow anyone else to sit on it too. Because for him, that seat belongs to his father and brother. Nobody could take their position when he is still alive.

Weicheng smiled and sat there. And looked towards the people who were standing in front of him.

Xiaochen also sat down on the left side of Weicheng. Secretary Wu sat on the empty seat on the right. Only then does everyone else come back from the daze. They all looked at each other and realised they were…..standing. With an embarrassed look they sat back on their own assigned seat.

Lan MengXi and Mr.Shen were surprised about them standing respectfully in front of a Junior. How could they stand up and give respect to a youngster like this. Not only them, many other senior executives also felt embarrassed.

But how can they blame themselves? The aura that the youngster emitted wasn't that of a young prince in his middle twenties. But of an emperor who faced many adversities and won the title of emperor. And unknowingly their body moved before their mind.

Gu Weicheng didn't give any attention to the complicated look of the executives. He sat back crossing his leg.

"Why do you think Gu group is hopeless Mr.Shen? There are still capable people here." Gu Weicheng said.

"Hmph." Mr.Shen mocked.

"The only people I saw were those dogs who tried to bite the hand which fed them and those whose eggshell wasn't even fully broken."

"Ha. You are right Mr.shen." Weicheng narrowed his eyes.

"What I saw after returning were those dogs who didn't even have the courage to face any problem and hid their tail between their legs and disappeared just because they were scared" He smirked.

"It is a disappointment to name that behaviour as loyalty. Am I right?"

Mr. Shen felt like he was slapped in the face. All the people present here turned pale and hung their head downward in embarrassment.

" I wonder how the My father survived all these years with these kind of incapable subordinates."

Gu Weicheng words hit the sour spot of all the people.

Lan MengXi who was silent all this time said without any hostility,

"We worked for your father for many years, so you shouldn't question our loyalty towards your father, young master. And also we all tried our best to save the Gu group." All the others supported Mr.Lan's words.

"Ha...Are you sure all of you did your best till the end." Weicheng asked in a cold voice. Lan MengXi wanted to say something but paused unable to say anything.

'Did we really done our best?'

Not a single person was able to answer and silence surrounded again.

Gu Xiaochen watched his brothers. He was confused.

'Is brother trying to bring them back or make them flee.' A question mark appeared in his head. Still he didn't interrupt his brother, because whatever his brother does, he has 100 percent trust in it.

"You speak very well, young man." Mr.Shen once again came forward.

"But, Just using your tongue won't help you save the Gu group." His voice was extremely cold. How can someone question his loyalty towards Master Gu.

"Ho….. Then what do you think I should do Mr. Shen?" He asked curiously.

Though his attitude felt extremely annoying in the eyes of Mr.Shen. He pressed down his anger and said,

" Instead of questioning our loyalty, you should first try to clean the parasites who are still crawling inside the Gu group." Mr. Shen said crossing his hands.

Weicheng's eyebrows widened. He smirked

"Well, cleaning those things are not that difficult for me. I can do it anytime I want, so don't worry about it." His voice was extremely confident that it can even convince anyone if he says that the Sun is cold.

Mr. Shen's veins twitched in his head. He is extremely angry that he wants to flip the table upside down. He controlled himself and gritted his teeth.

"Ha… that's some confidence you have there, Anyone can bark anything but when it comes to the actual result, work is important not your nagging." He said with closed teeth.

"Well then should we make a bet?" Gu Weicheng said looking at Mr.Shen.

"What?" If Mr. Shen's anger level can be seen then it should have already reached the dark red point.

"Within 24 hours, I will clean all the parasites draining Gu group." Weicheng said. Everyone present in the group was stunned. And looked at Gu Weicheng in disbelief including Mr. Shen and Lan MengXi.

If it wasn't for Gu Weichengs' serious attitude, they would have thought it was a joke.

How can Youngmaster Gu, clean those people within just 24 hours, when they tried to do that for the past 5 years and failed.

There once again was complete silence.

"Are you scared.?" He said mockingly, looking at Mr.Shen. "Well I can't say anything, if you don't want to bet because you are scared." He shrugged.

'Arrogant bas**rd' Mr.Shen cursed.

He took a deep breath and calmed his ranging heart and said,

" I accept." He paused. "But, if you are unable to clean them within 24 hours, Not only me but all the people present here won't help you to save Gu group. And if anything happens after that, you can't blame us. And also you need to ask forgiveness for questioning our loyalty." Mr Shens' voice was arrogant.

Lan MengXi and others were stunned.

"Young master….." They wanted to stop this.

Xiaochen also felt uncomfortable.

"Okay.." Gu Weichengs voice interrupted others.

"But. What would I get, if i won.?" He questioned. His smiling face gave an ominous feeling to Mr.Shen. Still he didn't want to back down. He sat straight and asked.

"What do you want ?"

A satisfied smile appeared on Gu Weicheng's lips.

"Loyalty." His words were loud and clear.

Confused look appeared in everyones' face. Their eyes questioned Weicheng.

"It's Simple as you've heard, I just want the loyalty that you once gave to my father." He said surprising others. Mr.Shen was also visibly surprised.

The loyalty Mr.Shen had for Gu Weicheng's father is very strong.For others the word loyalty may mean nothing. But a person like Mr.Shen being loyal means giving his hus entire life for one person. Only death can break that. Everyone present here knows that too.

They all looked at Mr.Shen with a complicated eyes. It is not simple as Gu Weicheng said.

Mr Shen looked at Gu Weichengs golden eyes, which look extremely like that of a predators, an inexplicable feeling surrounded him.

"Okay.I accept."

Mr.Shen stood up from his seat and left the meeting room saying,

"Don't forget your promise."

Everyone was dumbfounded. A single word made them gasp, including Xiaochen.

Only the person sitting in the middle didn't show any reaction, only his lips showed a beautiful arc.
