Gu Xiaochen clenched his hands.

He Donghai stood in the stage and said,

"Well thank you for coming today. Now everyone is here. I want to make an important announcement." He looked towards Gu Xiaochen.

"Today I am informing all of you that I, He Donghai, are breaking off my engagement with the young master of the Gu family Gu Xiaochen."

The hall became silent for a moment. Then it turned into murmur's. Many people glanced towards Gu Xiaochen. With eyes full of pity and mocking.

But they didn't get the expected reaction from Gu Xiaochen. He only stood there.

"And also. I would like to announce my engagement with Fengge. Young master of Lee group." He said.

The murmuring in the Hall intensified. Lee Fengge's face was not happy at all. He clenched his fist.
