"Brother." 

A 12 years old child was napping under the tree. His brown hair was filtering in the wind along with the peach Petals. He heard someone calling him. Slowly he opened his golden eyes.

Suddenly a cute face of a 7 years old boy popped in front of him. He had the same light brown hair. His Indigo eyes were twinkling. He was showing his whole white tooth and Grinning. 

The 12 years boy smiled seeing his younger brother's face. 

"Brother... Why are you sleeping here." Younger boy asked, tilting his head. 

The Older boy got up and sat under the tree. Younger boy also sat near his brother. 

"Hmmm... I don't know. I was reading a book but I unknowingly fell asleep." Elder boy said.

The Younger boy said with a pout and bulging his cheek. 

"You said that you will celebrate Lucky's birthday with me and now you're sleeping here. Where is his gift? You said you will buy it for me." He said looking at the doggy who was playing slightly far from them playing with a ball. 

"Ooo no. I forgot." Older boy slapped his own face and said closing one of his eyes as he was teasing his younger brother. 

"What should I do now." He said with a concerned voice. "Should we just forget the matter of gift. We should just give him new dog food." He peaked at Younger boy's face.

Younger boy bulged his cheek more and his eyes began to get wet. 

"You're so mean. You promised. Now you say you forget.'' He was controlling hard to not allow his eyes to overflow. It was extremely cute in the eyes of an older boy. 

When he was about to stop teasing his brother suddenly he saw some scratches on the younger boy's hand. He frowned and took the younger boy's hand. 

"Xiaochen, what happened here. How did your hands become full of scratches?" He asked with concern. 

Realising that his elder brother found out about the wound, The Younger boy got startled and tried to hide it. 

Seeing this, the older boy got suspicious. 

"ChenChen, tell brother what happened." He asked persistently. 

Younger boy bit his lower lips. 

"Xiaochen." The Older boy once again called. Realising that his brother is getting angry. He didn't have any choice and said, 

"Some boys in my class bullied me. Saying I am just a stupid omega and I will always be lower than them." He said in a lower voice.

"What?" The Older boy's face began to get cold. 

"Did they beat you.?" He asked. His anger was fully shown in his face. 

"Haaa. Though they say mean things usually they don't beat me. But when they said bad things about my friend. I got angry and we fought." He paused and said, 

"Don't worry brother I beat them too." He said proudly. But it didn't change the older boy's bad mood. 

"Why didn't you say earlier that you were getting bullied." Hearing the older boy's question, the younger boy got silent for a moment and said, 

"Teacher said that if we have a problem we should face it head-on. Complaining about every small thing is wrong and only cowards will complain." 

Older boy clenched his hand. He knew it must be because the teacher didn't want to get involved in the children's fight, so she just shooed them saying this. 

He just wanted to beat that teacher for saying this. 'I think she just got tired of her job. So I should help her quit.' 

He closed his eyes calming his rage. 

He took his younger brother's shoulder and bent down facing each other. 

"Chen Chen do you remember what brother told you about to inform me if anything happens to you." Younger boy nodded his head.

"Remember. Never hide anything like this from your brother , okay. Just like the teacher said. You should face problems head on without running away. But when you need help, there's nothing wrong about asking someone for help." Younger boy Looked in confusion.

"Now that your brother is here whenever you need help you should ask me. Okay. And never hide something like this from me." Older boy said. The younger boy thought something and nodded his head as he understood. 

Suddenly he stopped his head and looked at his brother. 

"But if my brother is not here what should I do.." He asked in confusion. 

Older boy's eyebrows went up. Corner of his mouth went up. 

"If I am not here, you should ask help from someone else.'' He said. 

Younger boy's face became gloomy.

"No I don't want to ask someone else." He said. 

"I only want my brother." He said stubbornly.

"Sigh... Okay okay... Don't worry when you're in trouble and you need my help. Wherever I am I will definitely come back to you. Okay?" He said with a charming yet cute smile. 

"Promise." Younger boy asked, showing his small finger.

"Promise." The elder boy crossed his own small finger with the younger one. (Pinky promise)

"Hehehe." Younger boy grinned. 

"Here," the older boy suddenly took a gift box from the tree hole which was beautifully wrapped with glowing paper.

"Haaaaa!" Younger boy looked at his brother amazingly. His eyes began to sparkle again. He took the gift box and hugged his brother. 

He nuzzled his head on his brother's chest. 

The elder boy hugged back and patted his little brother's head with a smile.

Present 

"Master what are you thinking?" Butler zen asked saw that his master is thinking about something. For a moment he felt his master was smiling. 

"No nothing." Gu Xiaochen said. 

"Did you buy it?" He asked. 

"Yes," Butler Bai Zen said, showing the food in his hand. 

"Okay let's go." Gu Xiaochen stood up from his seat and walked towards the VIP ward carrying the medicine they brought.

When they reached the corridor of the VIP section. They saw some black dressed bodyguards standing in front of the Elder Gu's room.

He frowned and thought someone was visiting his grandfather. He walked towards the door. Saw a man was talking to the doctor in front of the door. He felt somewhat familiar.

The man looked back.

Seeing the face of Butler Bai. Xiaochen was surprised. Butler Bai zen was also surprised to see his father after a long time. For a unknown reason Xiaochen's heart began to beat fast. 

A face suddenly emerged in his mind. He Gulped.

"Uncle Bai/Father." Two of them called together.

Butler Bai looked at those two. He was surprised suddenly seeing them, though he was sure that they would meet today. After a moment he composed himself.

" Good afternoon Second young master. You too Xiao zen." Butler Bai called. "How have you been."

"I am fine uncle Bai." Xiaochen said with a smile. 

He was surprised to see butler Bai after so long. But more than that he felt some uneasiness.

"When did you come back dad?"Bai Zan asked. 

"Yesterday." He said with a cold face. 

"Are you alone." Xiaochen asked without even thinking. He didn't even know why he asked a question like that. But he felt an urge to ask. He Gulped and waited for Butler Bai's words

Butler Bai glanced at Xiaochen. 

"No." He said with a calm voice. Hearing this Xiaochen felt a shiver.

"He is talking to Elder Master." Butler Bai's face showed a small smile. 

Xiaochen froze for a moment. Though Butler bai didn't say who this He is, Xiaochen felt he knew who it was. He looked at the door. And walked toward it. His hands were trembling when he touched the door. He slowly opened the door. 

"I was busy." He heard a familiar yet unfamiliar voice, which he was waiting to hear again. 

His heart beat fastened again . He felt like his body was losing his strength. The medicine in his hand fell and the door opened wide. Showing a familiar person standing near his grandfather. 

".........." The room was silent. The grandfather and the person looked at him. He didn't want to blink his eyes fearing this person would disappear just like every time. 

"Xiaochen." A voice came. His eyes began to overflow. Don't know how he ran towards his brother and hugged him. He missed this person more than anything. He cried. He was unable to stop. He felt weak but two strong hands hugged him and supported his body. He felt a familiar feeling in his head, the most assuring feeling. A safe feeling that he never felt in these 5 years of struggling. He felt as if he had finally reached his safe zone, After many years of suffering.
