•Y/N's POV:•
"What are you doing here?" I asked Ayano as soon as she opened my door and closed it behind her.
"I wanted to know if your okay Y/N. You haven't replied to any of my texts nor have you been going to school." Ayano softly said sitting at the end of my bed. I curled myself up in a ball.
"I just feel like I'm gonna get another person killed." I softly said. I heard Ayano sighed.
"Only if you knew Y/N. But if I told you you'll hate me." She gently rubbing her hand on my thigh to try and calm me down.
I hummed, "what do you mean? Nothing can make me hate you." I turned to face her. She looked at me with pity. "Don't look at me like that." I groaned as she chuckled.
"Don't worry about it." Ayano said. And laid down next to me, she wrapped her arms around me and pulled me to her chest.
"Ayano-"
"Just relax Y/N. You've been so stressed and overwhelmed. Just try, please." Ayano begged. I softly smiled and cuddled up to her.
"Will you tell me what you meant one day?" I asked. She put her chin on top of mine. Staying silent.
"Maybe one day." She kissed the top of my forehead. I closed my eyes.
"Promise?" I asked.
She put some of my hair behind my ear.
"I'm sorry but no promises." She whispered.
Ayano was able to convince me to come out and go to the park, she sat me down on a bench and ran off to get us some ice cream. I told her my favourite flavour and gave her the money but she denied saying she'll pay. So now I'm sitting here doing nothing until a familiar girl came by, "Asu?! Hey!" I smiled, as she jogged towards me.

"Hey girl, where have you been? Your not in school anymore." She asked her hand in her hip as I giggled a bit.
"I'm kinda in a depressed state, all these deaths are kinda leaving a scar on me." I laughed nervously.
"Yeah, everyone's been talking about a rumour in school though." Asu looked around seeing no one here.
"What is it?" I asked. She sat down next to me.
"People are thinking that you or Ayano are the killers." Asu whispered, my eyes widened, "what why?!" I asked.
"Because you two have been the ones to last see them or be near their corpse, mainly Ayano though." Asu sighed.
"So the evidence is building more up on Ayano than you. She's more of a risk and I'd stay away from her if I were you." Asu said. I shook my head, "if it was her she would've killed me by now." I said.
She went into thought. "I suppose your right." Asu sighed. She pulled out a note pad and wrote stuff down.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"People have found out that I didn't die when I was talking to you. So people have asked me to investigate since I have a high chance on surviving now." Asu smiled, clearly trusting me.
I nodded, "thank you Asu. For everything." I said calmly. She stood and continued to jog.
"I'll see you whenever!" She shouted waving. I waved back.
"Yeah! Byyee!"
"Who were you talking to?" Ayano asked making me jump. I turned around and immediately put my guard up when I saw Ayano glaring at me.
"A-Asu why?" I asked as she sat next to me, handing me my ice cream to which I didn't want anymore.

"Oh, what did you two talk about?" She asked. Licking her ice cream.
I had to act, I licked mine as well, realising nothing was wrong with it and put my guard back down. "Oh Asu told me that there's a rumour of one of us being the killers." I said pointing at the both of us.
She tensed up.
"Why's that?" She asked.
"Well it's because we've been sited that we were the last people to be near or talk to the victims." I said. "They've got more of a bet on you than me though." I sighed. She hummed.
Staying silent...
Wait she isn't denying that she's the killer.
"Ayano? Are you the killer?" I asked.
Her hand gripped tighter on her high socks staying silent. As my eyes widened, I stood up.
"Ayano? Why?" I asked.
"To save you!"
