I knew an older Cuban man that lived next door. I was dating his son. Everyday he walked the street and I would see him and he waved at me and would say, "Cheree Cheree".

He didn't speak English so I have no idea what he was saying but to me, it was a greeting of some sort.

I moved 6 blocks away to live in an apartment house my parents owned and I had a nice apartment on the second floor.

I heard the old man passed away. I was upset to hear that.

One day something told me to go to the window and look out. I saw this old man walking down the street toward my place. I thought that I must have have mistaken what I saw. Just then, he said, "Cheree, Cheree".

I was so shocked that my knees buckled and I almost fell. I looked down from my second story apartment and looked for him. He was gone. No way could he have walked that fast.

I talked to my boyfriend and he told me that his father had visited other people too.

I was not a believer of the afterlife before this. I am now!
