So my house has never been haunted or anything, but when there's an unusual sound like floorboards creaking, I'd usually blame it on the cats. But this story, no cat could've done it...
My sister went to a party and got to take a helium balloon home. It was all good for a day, but the next day the paranormal started. At first the balloon went up and down as if it was being pulled on by the string. Then it started moving (there was no wind, or anything that I could see causing it) around, like someone was running with it.
I got freaked out so I tied the balloon to a chair. I left and go to my room to do stuff. When I got back the balloon was moving around all over the room. I tied it again to see and when I got back the same thing happened.
I tried to forget about it and went on with my business. When I went to the dining room/kitchen (where the balloon was) to get a glass of water before bed, the balloon wasn't there. I looked around and the balloon was in another room, just floating there. During that moment I got an eerie feeling that I was being watched, and not by a cat. I rushed to get a glass of water and went to bed.
The next day, the balloon was still in the living room, in the exact same spot. Oh and also my sister was in a another room on the other side of the house colouring/playing the whole time. I'm not a strong believer in the paranormal; I just wanted to share this story.

She is going to wake up with a hole in her head in the first chapter of this story, surrounded by corpses and also by a dying fairly normal 26 year old American man. Burned and seemingly abandoned by the Agency, Agent Z has lost her memory, her security clearance and her authorisation. All that she's gained is Jacob, who is thoroughly in this shit now. Together they must work to uncover the truth, if any such thing even exists, in this erratic urban fantasy weird-fic. Updates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Australian time.

Galactus looked at John with more stoic eyes now. He had done many things in the past and he made many bad decisions. He just wasn't sure what John was referring to so he was silent. John seeing that Galactus was silent and refused to speak said "Black Winter is coming." -------------When a cinephile and an otaku/weeb travels through dimensions and gets a system which can only be described as overpowered but comes with restrictions. At first he was overjoyed with the system but soon realizes that he is in a very dangerous world where his life was at risk all the time. (There will be no change in the canon until the New York War ends) Disclaimer : I am not an economist so I might have done some mistakes in the economics section of the story. If you have suggestions to make it better you can leave in the comments. Warning - The MC won't be OP from the start itself and will grow to a powerful character in due time. The starting feels a bit odd because I am totally new to writing a novel and I don't have an editor so the conversations and descriptions might be little stiff. I have been trying to improve. The romance in the story is very little and I understand that its badly written. I am sorry about that but no need to worry. It doesn't have any effect in the story. The story is assumed on the fact that the reader at least knows the plot of Marvel movies and some popular animes. All the other elements are explained as much as possible. P.S. This story is based on pure Marvel Multiverse
