It happened when I was 5 or 6 years old. There was school on that day but I skipped. I was watching a cartoon show on TV while my mom was beside me. After a while the show was over and I went to lay down at the other couch in the living room. The couch was facing the stairs, so when I lay down sideways I could see the staircase.
I was about to sleep when I saw a red male figure slowly going up the stairs. My eyes went wide in an instant and I slowly walked up the stairs. Halfway off the stairs, I saw the figure go into one of the rooms, so I immediately called my mom who was watching a TV show.
She came to me and asked me what happened and I explained to her. She went to the room where the 'figure' went inside. Seconds later, she came out of that room and told me that there wasn't anyone there. Not even the man in red. After that day, I was very paranoid that I forced my mom to stick beside me when I go upstairs. But it stopped after a few years.
