This is not a horrifying ghost story, but a paranormal experience all the same.

In 2009, my grandfather passed away from cancer. Whenever I visited my grandparents' house after that, the door to the living room would open. I knew that it wasn't a draft from an open window, because the door would be firmly shut. When the door opened, it was if someone had grabbed the handle, and opened it. I knew it was my grandfather's spirit, because I always felt protected when the door opened. Even though I only knew him for five years and 11 months of my life, we were incredibly close. I always feel his presence, wherever I go, as if he's still looking after me. I've always believed in ghosts, but now, I know, ghosts truly are real.
