Jungkook and Taehyung stumbled into their room and Jungkook instantly jumped onto the older boy, both falling onto the floor. Taehyung groaned in pain, and Jungkook grabbed his chin.

"Some things don't make sense," Jungkook said.

"Yeah like... how John F. Kennedy died. I mean, does anyone really know? Personally, I think the CIA-"

"No, Tae," Jungkook said, and then glowered at him. "I mean... didn't you know you were hurting me too? Why did you keep being mean to me if you saw me in pain?"

Taehyung sighed. "The truth is... all I could think about is how angry you got at me before the whole lava planet incident. I mean, even before I got onto that other spaceship, I was having doubts about you being my soulmate.

Soulmates aren't supposed to get so angry at one another." Taehyung mumbled, and Jungkook frowned.

"So I thought you weren't really in pain. I-I don't know. I was being a dickhead, and I shouldn't have been. I just got scared, I guess! I mean, Lavender saved my life, y'know? That's not just something you can repay with a simple 'thank you'."

"I-I guess," Jungkook mumbled, and then looked at Taehyung wearily. "So... this whole pain thing. It's because we're linked as soulmates, right?"

"Yeah. If I neglect you or become distant, the two of us hurt." Taehyung said, and Jungkook's eyes grew big.

"A-and what about the dying thingy? W-weren't you supposed to kill me?" Jungkook asked softly, and Taehyung shrugged.

"To be honest, I have NO clue," Taehyung said, and then laughed. "I mean- who knows! I thought it meant I was gonna kill you- but then you killed me! Kind of. I didn't die though. Wait-"

"Whatever. Maybe it's gonna happen in the future or whatever. It's fine." Jungkook said, and then wrapped his arms around Taehyung's neck. "I'm coming in terms with being your soulmate now, Taehyungie."

Taehyung blushed blue, wrapping his arms around his waist. "I-I missed you so much."

"I did too. Even if it was for a day. I cried a lot. You can ask the boys." Jungkook said, booping Taehyung's nose.

"I believe you, baby," Taehyung said with a fond smile, kissing his lips. Jungkook grabbed his cheeks and kissed him back, smiling as he did.

Suddenly, the ship began shaking. Jungkook's eyes widened, and Taehyung looked up too. A red alarm started beeping throughout the ship- and the robot voice shouted Object in direct motion towards the ship, I repeat, Object in direct motion towards the ship-

"Fuck!" Taehyung shouted, standing up and running outside of the room. Jungkook followed, panic filling his insides. They both ran out of the room and as fast as they possibly could to the control room. They walked in and saw everyone else in there already.

"Meteors-" Jungkook let out with widened eyes, and saw how Taehyung didn't hesitate to rush to the empty seat he found by the control table. Hoseok and Namjoon were already seated there, while Yoongi was pressing some buttons on a panel in the side, ensuring all systems on the ship were fine. Jimin, Jin, and Lavender stood by, all looking fearful- standing there shocked.

Hundreds of giant brown rocks flew past the spaceship, leaving gaps of space in between them which the spaceship had to rev through. Namjoon was holding down too buttons to ensure the spaceship went really fast, while Hoseok controlled the direction. Taehyung helped Hoseok.

Jungkook watched Namjoon looking tense, shouting out orders, while Hoseok looked utterly focused, moving the ship right to left. Taehyung moved the levers forward, seeing how they dodged the meteors, barely.

"Where the hell are we?" Jin asked, and Lav gulped. "I-I don't know. It's never this jammed on the way to my planet! There must've been some kind of star storm."

"Damnit-" Yoongi snapped. "One of the meteors hit the engine-"

"Turn the shields on!" Taehyung shouted, and Jimin ran to the other table to turn the safety shields on around the ship. It was a process that took time.

Jungkook saw Jin try and open a panel which had buttons connected to the engine room- but the moment he did, the panel began sparking in flames. Jungkook gulped.

"I'll check in the engine room!" Jungkook said, and Jin frowned.

"Jungkook doesn't-" Jin started, and Lavender saw that, looked hesitant, but ran out after Jungkook.

Jungkook rushed out of the control room and through the white hallways towards the engine room. He heard loud crashes and erratic booming sounds all around him and saw a box outside the closed off engine room bright red, signaling it was unsafe to go in.

Jungkook touched the door handle and instantly pulled his hand back, feeling the heat it radiated.

"Don't!" A voice came, and Jungkook heard Lavender.

"If the engine gets destroyed it'll stop the whole ship!" Jungkook said sharply. Lavender rushed up to him.

"I know that! But it's unsafe to go in there-"

"Don't tell me what to do," Jungkook grumbled, and then opened the engine room and instantly felt a strong wave of heat against his face, like a force pushing forwards, making it hard to keep his eyes open.

Lavender groaned, covering her eyes with her hand. "Look, Jeon Jungkook! It's burning in there!"

Jungkook moved into the engine room, took a deep breath, and ran to the right, trying to find a little black box. Lavender gulped and ran after him. They both ran fast, and then the ship received a hard shock from the meteor and they both got off balance, falling to the floor.

"Jungkook! This is unsafe! May-maybe get Hoseok to do it- he knows how the engine room works! Taehyung told me he was an engineering student-"

"I can do it, Lavender. Leave me alone." Jungkook snapped harshly, and then got up and ran forward. Lavender sighed, looking around. The engine on one side looked perfectly fine, while on the other side, was falling apart.

"The meteors could create a vacuum! You'll get sucked into space! Look, there's a way to fix this from the outside-" Lavender tried, and Jungkook lurched forward and put his hands on a little black metal box.

He opened the box rapidly and looked at it. Before he could put his finger on it, another tremble hit the ship, and they both went flying back, falling to the ground.

Lavender tried grabbing his arm, but Jungkook groaned. "Will you stop being annoying for one fucking second?" Jungkook snapped, but the moment he pulled away from Lavender, his body leaped to the ground, as if sticking to it.

"T-the gravity monitor broke-" Lavender said, but sounded a little scared, perhaps of the engine room, or of Jungkook. "I-I was just trying to help,"

Jungkook looked at Lavender for a few seconds and then gulped. "There are two engines-" Jungkook let out loudly, in the midst of the loud sound. "Look!" Jungkook pointed forward, hand practically shaking. "One of the engines is destroyed. The other is fine. If that gets hit- we won't be able to move!" Jungkook called out, and Lavender widened her eyes in realization.

Jungkook tried getting up but couldn't. He put his hands on the ground and lifted his upper body up, and then began crawling towards the metal box the best way that he could. Lavender stayed on the ground, looking with widened eyes.

Jungkook let out a groan, reaching his hand up to the box. He looked at it calculatingly, trying to figure out which lever to pull. Finally, he reached his hand to the top one and pulled it down completely.

Red lasers began shooting from the sides, casting a wall in between both the engines. Jungkook dropped to the floor, sighing in relief upon seeing there was a barrier between them, which meant the engine wouldn't get affected and would stay functioning.

The trembling and movement of the ship came to a pause, a peaceful pause. Jungkook felt two arms pick him up like he was as light as feather, and for a moment he wondered if it was Taehyung- but then realized it was Lavender picking him up.

She had him on her back and ran out of the engine room, closing the door behind her. She rushed till the control room and then dropped Jungkook to the ground. Jungkook groaned lightly, but then looked at Lavender and saw her eyes big, looking scared.

"He's hurt he's hurt he's hurt! Jin- help him!" Lav cried, and Taehyung rushed up to Jungkook, helping him sit up.

"Oh my god, where did you go off to?" Taehyung asked, wrapping his arms around him. "I got so scared,"

"One of the engines is destroyed, but the other one is functioning completely fine!" Yoongi said in awe, and Jungkook grinned.

"I did that!" Jungkook said excitedly, feet clicking together. "I fixed it! I helped! We didn't die because of ME."

"He did!" Lavender said, clapping her hands together.

"Thank you, Jungkook- and Lav. The other engine would've gotten destroyed because of the stupid meteor shower." Namjoon said, beads of sweat on his forehead. Hoseok was half passed out on the floor. "And also- there's good news and bad news."

Everyone looked nervous.

"Bad news is... the meteor shower completely threw off our direction and route. We were heading towards Lav's planet, but now... we're kind of in the middle of nowhere."

Lavender looked upset, and Namjoon grinned. "Good news is! We found a route to two distinct planets! We have enough energy to get us there, but we'll have to refill from there."

"Which planets?" Jimin asked, and Namjoon gulped.

"Well... Lav's planet..." Namjoon trailed, and then looked at Taehyung. "And Jupiter."

"W-what?" Taehyung let out, snapping his head towards him.

Lavender widened her eyes. "Now you guys decide where we should go first. We're not too far from the milky way." Namjoon said.

Lavender looked at Taehyung, who was looking into the distance with wide eyes. He looked a little shocked, and a little excited.

"If I'm honest," Lavender said, and the boys looked at her. "My planet is bad," Lavender said, and then looked down.

"Everyone is mean to me because- because I'm different from my people."

"How so?" Jin asked.

"It's awkward to say," Lavender mumbled, and then sighed. "I-I don't know if there is a word for it. But I don't like having sex! Or doing sexual things." Lavender squeaked.

Jimin's eyes widened, mouth falling to the floor. "Holy fucking shit! Dude, Lav, you're perfect for me! Girl- where've you been?" Jimin said, and Lavender giggled.

"You are all so accepting and... kind. Except- nevermind. On my planet, it- it is bad if a man is with another man. And they don't treat women the same way." Lavender said, looking sad.

"Just wait 2000 years, things might get better," Jungkook said, and Jimin glared at him.

"And- and I know how badly Taehyung wants to go to his home planet. I think we should go there and then-then maybe I'll go back to my planet. If I want to." Lavender said, and Taehyung looked at her.

"A-are you sure, Lav? I mean... this is a big decision. We don't mind you staying, though." Taehyung said, and Jimin nodded wildly, while Hoseok and Yoongi hummed in agreement, Namjoon gave her a smile, and Jin put his thumbs up. Jungkook just looked wearily.

"Really, Taehyung! It's fine! I never get to travel much! This will be fun! Plus I heard about the milky way galaxy in books!! One of the planets there literally killed itself! I mean the people on that planet just didn't care for themselves, it seemed! So fascinating." Lavender said, and Yoongi sighed.

"So... reroute to Jupiter?" Namjoon asked, and everyone looked at Taehyung.

He gulped. "Y-yeah," Taehyung said, and then his eyes gleamed. "Reroute to Jupiter." He smiled.

Jungkook stood up to give Taehyung a hug and then saw Taehyung rush forward to hug Lavender.

"Thank you so so much, Lav. You must be homesick. I can't thank you enough," Taehyung said, and Lavender giggled.

"Don't worry about it!" Lavender said, patting his back.

Taehyung pulled away from the hug and turned around to see Jungkook looking away, a little upset. Taehyung rushed up to him and picked him up by his thighs, kissing him hard.

Jungkook squeaked into the kiss, grabbing his cheeks. "God, my smart baby. Saved all of us, didn't you?"

Jungkook blushed and let out a giggle, kissing Taehyung on the nose. Lavender looked at the two of them and tilted her head.

"Jungkook doesn't make sense," Lavender said, and Jimin looked at her and rose his eyebrow. "He can be very mean sometimes, but he becomes very soft and mushy around Taehyung. Why?"

"Yeah, it's confusing. But you get used to it. And soon, he'll start acting soft and mushy around you too." Jimin said, giving Lavender a smile. Lavender returned the smile.

"You know what doesn't make sense?" Jin said, and then pointed at Jimin and Lavender. "You two. I mean- what's going on? Jimin, you're straight?"

"Um, bisexuality exists, thanks," Jimin said, and then shrugged. "I've never been with a guy before. Maybe I could try it in the future... but girls are great too. Y'know what, everyone's great. Boys. Girls. Those in between. Both. Aliens. Half aliens. Everybody!" Jimin said, and Lavender gasped.

"Exactly what I think! But no one understand me!! I like you a lot Park Jimin." Lavender said, and Jimin smiled back.

Jimin kissed Lavender on the cheek, and Lavender wrapped her arms around his waist and kissed him on the cheek too, telling him he looks like a strawberry marshmallow, to which Jimin giggled.

Jungkook looked confused while looking at them, and Taehyung snickered. "It doesn't have to make sense. They seem to like each other, that's all that matters. I don't think the two of us make sense either,"

"Yeah, we really don't," Jungkook said, and Taehyung carried him out of the control room, towards their bedrooms.

"In fact... you might be better with someone like Lavender or Jimin,"

"Nah," Taehyung said, and then set Jungkook down. "I like the fight you have in you. That little bit of aggression. It's all too adorable. If you were all cutesy and mushy all the time, it'd get boring." Taehyung said, and Jungkook frowned.

"What the fuck? I'm not aggressive! How fucking-" Jungkook started, and then his eyes widened, and he giggled. "Oh... I see what you mean."

Taehyung smiled and leaned forward to kiss Jungkook on the nose. "I'm so excited to go to Jupiter. They have a building that's a million feet tall. Literally! Everything's huge there."

"Yeah, like your dic-"

"Shut it." Taehyung snapped, and then sat down beside Jungkook, smiling. "I- also- I don't know. I kind of want to meet my mom."

Jungkook gasped. "I really hope you do get to meet her! That'll be so great! And then I'll meet her too! And we'll get married."

"Hm, jumping right to it, yeah?" Taehyung said, and Jungkook giggled, putting his hands on his cheeks.

"I love you," Jungkook whispered, and Taehyung smiled, nudging his nose against Jungkookie's.

"I love you too," Taehyung whispered back, and they pressed their lips together.
