I woke up to the sound of a beautiful recitation.

I wish i could be a better muslim like this.

Let me tell you i only pray on Fridays and that's jumat prayers.

I looked to my left and saw the queen bee reciting some duas in a lengena.

Why wear a lengena and what is she doing in my room?

I was still in my stupid thoughts when realization hit me that I'm married.

I got married yesterday and that too to her.

She had her face covered and her both hands up as she read some duas and by listening to her beautiful voice you'll know she's crying.

Gold digging fake tears.

I shrugged the thoughts off and went to take a nice warm shower and go see my girl who got me worried all night.

After taking a shower i got out and saw her seated on the couch fidgeting with her fingers and her face still covered making me remember last night when i told her not to show me her unwanted face.

I kinda feel bad now saying that to her last night but whatever she deserves it,no one dares to come in between me and Alishba but i must say she's really an obedient wife.

Any guy who marries her in the future can easily tame her.

"Go take a bath, i'll get new clothes from mom for you." I said.

"Khala brought some clothes for me while you were in the bathroom." She spoke barely audibly while her fingers were shaking.

Do i scare her?

Well I'm glad i do.

She went into the washroom and closed the door without making any sounds unlike me who just banged the door.

I changed into a black hoodie and sweatpant, sat on the bed and took out my phone scrolling through Instagram when the washroom door opened and the queen bee came out wearing a purple resham Shalwar Kameez, the purple shawl covering her head and face. She placed the clothes she was wearing before on the couch.

I

must say the clothes really suits her, she looks amazing. It hugged her petite form and her curves not that she had any curves doe as she practically looked like a person who isn't fed well and the way she walks as if she's going to pass out any second.

Enough about her.

I don't even know why i'm thinking all this stupid thoughts.

"IT'S TIME TO LEAVE." I heard mum's voice as she knocked on the door.

I opened the door and went out with queen bee trailing behind holding her clothes from yesterday, she was about to trip but balanced herself,i guess it's because of the shawl which is covering her face.

Wait! The veil.

I better tell her to take it off her face before mum see's it and starts bombarding us with questions and endless scoldings.

"Why are you covering your face Iman? Did something happen? Did you fall?" Mum bombarded Iman with questions.

I guess I'm too late.

I'll just wait for nature to take it course and by that i mean her endless scoldings.

Guess what, her name is actually Iman.

"He asked me to cover my face." She replied innocently while pointing at me.

She's trying to avoid saying my name.

B***h

"Don't listen to this idiot, take it off my child, you must be suffocated and you, how can you ask her to do this." Mum said while pulling my ears.

"I'll have a serious talk with you when we get back home and Iman i said take the shawl off now." Mum demanded.

She took the shawl of her face and that's when the world stopped moving.

Holy mushrooms.

How can someone be this georgous. This is a crime.

She had a sculpted figure which was very-thin and devoid of any curves like i said before. Her waist was tapered and she had a whitish complexion. A pair of arched eyebrows looked down on sweeping eyelashes. Her delicate ears framed a button nose. A set of dazzling, angel-white teeth gleamed as she blew gently on her carmine- pink fingernails which had beautiful henna's on them, It was a pleasure to see her flowing, moon shadow-black hair which peaked out a little from her shawl. Her enticing, constellation- big brown eyes gazed at me over her puffy, heart shaped lips. Her lips look pink and plumpy. I bet it'll taste like strawberry sweet when you kiss them. She had a mutey personality and a sugary voice, which I adored. Not content to be just another drone, she wore such purple vibrant cloth.

Look who's drooling over the girl he called unwanted last night. My conscience mocked me.

I wasn't drooling over her. I was just saying besides she's not even that beautiful.

She's not up to Alishba's beauty.

Keep lying to yourself. My conscience mocked again.

Just shut up.

"Give it back Zayan bhai, those waffles are mine you food thief." I heard that annoying voice yell from inside.

I opened the front door only to be graced by this sight. Zayan running around with a plate of waffles in her hand while Alina was chasing him.

I glanced at mum and Iman who were already in the living room watching the scene.

Iman had a small smile playing on her lips which made her look more beautiful than ever.

Stop it Azan.

"Can you guys stop this childish act of yours." Mum said amusingly.

That's when they finnaly noticed our presence. Alina came forward and hugged me.

Drama queen.

"Tell Zayan bhai to return my waffles." Alina said in an innocent voice while pointing at Zayan who was busy munching on the waffles like a beast.

"Can you guys stop fighting like childrens and Zayan she's your little sister have some shame." Mum scolded.

"Tell him mummy. Wait! Who's this?" Alina asked gesturing towards Iman.

Aggh

My wife, your bhabi. How sweet would it be to say that word if it was Alishba i got married to.

We'd probably be in Paris or on a world tour for our honeymoon.

But I'm stuck with this potato for the time being. I can't wait for all this to be over.

I don't know what the need was for me to marry her if mum is just going to bring her here to leave with us,she should have done that without me marrying Iman.

There's definitely more to this. There's something mum is not telling me.

"She's your new sister in- ahh i mean she's like your new sister." Mum said clearly unsure of what she's saying.

"What do you mean mummy. Did you adopt?" Alina asked confusingly.

"No no i didn't. She's my late best friend's daughter and my best friend and her husband died 14 years ago when she was just 4, i wanted to take her then but her aunt and uncle refused and only let me to just visit. When she was 8 years old they moved to Lahore and i wasn't able to see her all the time and then when she turned 14 they banned me from seeing her. I found her today true the help of my friend Susan's daughter Angela. She was keeping an eye on her for me, i won't go in full details but she'll be living with us from now on.
