A donkey makes it to prosperity through hard work and a little bit of luck. He is so successful that he eventually runs a large company and employs dozens of other animals. One day, while shopping, he discovers an expensive jacket made of real lion skin. The donkey buys it and walks around boasting about it so that everyone can see it. The animals around him are impressed by the expensive jacket, so that the donkey soon feels like a real lion.

Soon there is a big banquet where the most distinguished and successful animals of the area gather. There is, for example, Mr. Peacock with his wife Peacock and also the Silverback appears with Mrs. Gorilla. Only Mr. Goldfish comes unaccompanied, because Mrs. Goldfish stayed at home with a cold. Between all these successful animals, the donkey is also invited and at the same time to give the annual opening speech. As is to be expected, he goes there in his lion jacket and still feels like royalty.

When all the animals are finally seated, the donkey is asked to give the opening speech. The donkey feels extremely flattered and thereupon ceremoniously raises his champagne glass. He shouts into the microphone:

"Iiiiii-Ahhh! Iiiiii-Ahhh!"

All the animals in the room start laughing at him. The donkey is so embarrassed that he leaves the room.

And the moral of the story is: Also expensive clothes do not make a donkey a lion.
