The three of them sat at the dining table for lunch. Sonakshi was extremely excited for the her baby shower. Dev served Sonakshi and said 'Maa, pooja aur sab toh theek hai, lakin yeh sab kuch ek din mein? Mera matlab hai ki agar pooja aur function ek din mein hoga toh Sonakshi bhaut thak gayegi. 'Arey Dev, pooja toh subha hai, Sonakshi Shaam tak karme mein aram kar legi aur phir Shaam mein hum god baharee ka function kar lenge. Aur haa, pooja mein sirf ghar ke logo ko aamantran dange'. Said Ishwari. 'Haa Maa, mein pooja ke baad thoda sa aaram kar lungi. Dev, don't worry, I will be fine' Sonakshi said smiling at Dev.

After lunch they discussed and planned out the function. Dev suddenly stood up from the sofa and said 'Maa, Sonakshi ne mujhe gift dia, tu ne toh dekha hi Nahi'. He rushed towards his room and got the Doppler. He sat next to Sonakshi and moved the machine on Sonakshi baby bump. 'Maa, aap ho awaz sun rahe ho, woh bacche ke heat beats hai'. Sonakshi said with a smile. Ishwari was extremely happy to hear the grandchild's hearbeat. After everything was done, Ishwari stood up to leave. 'Accha ab mein chalti hu. Ghar jakar sari taiyaaree bhi kari hai'. Dev knew that Ishwari was exited and she would overwork. 'Maa, tu please aaram karna. Bhaut kam mat karna'. Dev said in a concerned tone. Ishwari laughed and said 'kisne kaha ki main kaam karungi? Ghar par aur bhi toh log hai. Vaise bhi, yeh Nikki kuch kam nahi karti hai. Jab usse pata chalega ki uski sona bhabhi ki god baharee hai, toh mein usse sab kam karva lungi.' The three of them laughed at Ishwari's plan to make Nikki work. 'Accha Maa chal, main thuje ghar tak drop karta hu.' 'Arey Nahi Dev beta, mein driver ko lekar aai thi, woh parking mein wait kar raha hai'. Ishwari hugged dev and Sonakshi and left.

Ishwari entered the house screaming on top of her voice 'bhaiya, bhabhi, Nikki, riya,Elena sab bahar aa jao'. Mamaji came out with mamiji 'kya hua kachori? Chilla kyu rehi hai?' Said mamaji 'batati hu bhaiya, Nikki.... riya bahar aao jaldi' 'kya hua Maa?'Said Nikki. 'Jiji, ab toh yeh aa gai ab toh bata do', Said mamiji. 'Ha bhabhi, batati hu. Kal ghar pe Sonakshi ki god baharee hai. Subha pooja hai aur Shaam mein function hai'. 'Sona bhabhi ka baby shower....kitna maza aagega..' Nikki shouted on top of her voice. 'Itni khush mat ho ja Nikki, kam bhi karna padega ab. Bhaiya, aap caterer walo se baat karlo, Nikki, riya, tum dono menu decide karo, bhabhi aap Panditji se baat kar lo , aur mein ja kar Asha ji se baat karti hu....aur Ha....Bhola, ghar ki Sari safai kar lo', saying that she left the call Asha.

'Nahi beta, ghar mat aa, yaha sab hai kaam karne. Tu Sonakshi ke saath reh. Chal ab phone rakti hu, kaam karna hai'. Ishwari disconnected the call and got back to work. 'Kya hua Dev? Kya kaha Maa ne? Asked Sonakshi. Dev rested his head on Sonakshi's lap and told her what Ishwari told him. Sonakshi began to play with his hair and she was so detracted playing with is hair that she did not listen to anything that Dev said.

It was dinner time, Dev asked Sonakshi 'aaj kya khane ka mood hai Mrs. Dixit?' Sonakshi thought for a few seconds and said 'dev aaj mera khana banane ka mood hai. Kitna time ho gaya hai ki maine cook Nahi kia hai'. 'Sonakshi, par tum khudko exert mat karo. Bhaut der tak khade Nahi reh na hai thume'. Dev said in a concerned tone. 'Dev please' Sonakshi requested. 'Accha ek kaam karte hai. Tum meri help karo, mujhe Instruct karo. Okay?' Dev said. Sonakshi agreed to him and they walked towards the kitchen. Sonakshi helped him make some Thai curry and rice. Post dinner, Dev sat on the sofa complaining 'aaj bhaut kha lia'. Sonakshi walked towards him with two pairs of sports shoes. 'Yeh kya hai Sonakshi? Asked Dev. 'Dev, hum dono ab walk par ja rahe hai. Help me wear my shoes and wear your shoes'. 'Sonakshi yaar....main bhaut thak gaya hu' Said Dev in a lazy tone. 'Dev please, mera 7th month hai aur exercise karna bhaut important hai ab' Sonakshi said. Dev took the shoes from her hand and said 'okay nutritionist, chalo walk pe'. He wore his shoes and helped her wear hers. They walked in a nearby park for nearly 45 minutes. It was extremely refreshing for the two of them. They reached home and changed into their comfort night clothes. 'Sonakshi, ab tum so jao. Tomorrow is going to be a hectic day'. Saying that he made Sonakshi comfortable in bed. 'Good night Dev.
